Excellent episode (as always, but No Spoilers)! This episode told us (viewers) how Gotham's (s)heroes and villain(ess) have/will create(d) "legacies" (The Spirit of the Goat episode should now be more appreciated). How a name comes to mean something and eventually a mask can become a symbol. The writing/acting on this series is truly "top notch", especially since the material is based off a comic book.............thank you, Mr. Nolan. What can I say Jada Pinkett - Smith is killing her Fish Mooney character (you have to watch this episode for her scene(s) alone) every episode, but I fear she will never receive the credit she's due............unfortunately. I did miss one of TV's hottest ships this episode though..........not a complaint..........just saying. 4 THE DARKEST KNIGHT IN GOTHAM, I am Nobody!!!
Awesome episode, none stop action what the Hell did Fish really do that, anything to keep the edge all I can say is Gotham city better look out, Fish will be back and they'd better fear her, if she did that to herself, in the words of Mr T, I pity the fool!!
Really good episode. I enjoyed the Reggy and Alfred sub plot and that was a nice twist in the end. The Red Hood story line was also good and surprisingly funny. Can't stand Fish and Barbara. Can they be killed off already.
Glad I am not the only one who can't stand Fish Mooney. The whole people parts plot is bleh. I love Bruce Wayne vs. the board. This is going to be interesting.
Did we get our first glimpse of Harley Q or Harley's Q mother/sibling (the bank managers secretary or assistant manager)? She stood out in the scene and her mannerism seem to fit, IMO. Nobody 4 NOW!!!
I have never begged for a character to die but please, please kill Fish. I have started DVRing the show and watching it later just so I can fast forward through her scenes. The bad acting and bad writing of that character just drag down the whole show.
Nope saw it because I thought maybe something interesting had actually happened. Scene and acting were way over the top ridiculous. I started laughing it was so stupid. For me, the character adds nothing to the story line.
I have to somewhat agree with you. I have no idea what Fish's storyline is supposed to do in the over all scheme of things... I liked her better in Gotham itself.
What I don't get is how she is bending these people she never met to her needs in this human experimentation building. She should have gotten her ass busted up and tortured, or set in her place really quick. Her calling the shots and doing all this eye-pulling out stuff makes no sense. Even back a few weeks when the man broke into her yacht and she charged him, it was so cheesy.
The writers are trying so hard to make her seem like a powerful woman, when at the same time she is getting ridiculous. Oh well though, Penguin will whoop her ass again when she returns to Gotham.
Actually originally (and in many versions) Barbara is his niece and adoptive daughter. While yes Barbara and Jim will reunite (unfortunately). It's technically not a necessity.
There is absolutely no logical reason that Fish wouldn't not be dead and dropped into the ocean. Her eyes were all that wanted from her. If they can't even have that, why haven't they just scrapped her for parts after she passed out? Makes no sense that she'd still be alive, especially as a threat to their organization, even though they had guns and she had a knife. Apart from that scene, she has been marred by hammy acting and now has equally nonsensical writing to back her up.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Really great episode. That scene with Fish Mooney wow
ReplyDeleteFANTASTIC EPISODE!!!

ReplyDeleteJada is killing it DEAD! She is awesome in this show!

ReplyDeletewho your ship?

ReplyDeleteI never liked her from the beginning. My most hated character on the show. Can't wait for her to die.

ReplyDeletelol
ReplyDeleteBarbara won't die. She's too important to Gordon's canon as she eventually gives birth to the future Batgirl.
ReplyDeleteExcellent episode.
ReplyDeleteJust when I thought that Fish is now really screwed and there's no way out, she comes up with that.

ReplyDeleteSo the police just left the red hood on the street even though it was evidence?! :-(
ReplyDeleteRemember, its Gotham. Only one cop not on the take. So any evidence is sketchy at best.
ReplyDeleteNot the police. Gordon. He got the call, panicked, and ran off. He forgot about the hood in his moment of panic.
ReplyDeleteThen you missed something big last night. She took out her own eye!
ReplyDeleteah right. i was wondering as well why the hood was left in the street lol thanks for refreshing my deteriorating mind haha

I also don't understand how the evidence was just chilling on the street.
ReplyDeleteBut like a bunch of Fish Mooney's scenes, I won't question it or my brain will explode.
Lol..omg, I laughed too. That was lame. I've wanted her dead forever. I was hoping that would do it, but nope! Still gotta wait. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteActually originally (and in many versions) Barbara is his niece and adoptive daughter. While yes Barbara and Jim will reunite (unfortunately). It's technically not a necessity.
ReplyDeleteI suppose if Fish isn't dead yet, with everything, Id be surprised if she was killed this season now.
ReplyDeleteIs it me or did the red hood seem abit like dead pool just as on the previous episode we saw the joker in that kid
