    nooo! Heroe's villains have always been ruthless, even Bennet before he became a good guy and i don't want to see Chuck Bartowski as a heartless and cruel psychopath

    I just hope they don't follow the ending of the previous season with the public outing of powers. Still bummed at no Peter or Sylar but at least we have HRG to help make it watchable.

    maybe this (and those futures were horrible and horrific) is a world where normal people know about the Heroes and Villains and if it's better than those possible futures, the Original Heroes: Peter, Claire and the rest are hailed as heroes and Peter and Claire are out there living semi-normal lives after all they've been through

    It's slated for summer along with Hannibal and Aquarius. No exact date, but it's also currently said to be "A Limited Series", but I suspect that could change.

    Yeah I've seen a lot of comments about how the series wasn't very good in the final seasons, that's why I didn't watch it. It's good to start with a clean slate.

    oh, but i wouldn't advise you catch up, the series is not exactly awesome (it had its moments but still), so it's good to go into this show fresh, so you don't have the bad taste of the original series in your mouth

    That's not much of an excuse because other shows did much better despite the strike and season 3-4 only made it worse.

    They tried the slow burn like season 1, and had to end it quickly due to the strike.
    The strike didn't affect all shows the same.
    I enjoyed season 3, but season 4 felt so plotless to me

    I think that season 2 still had bad writing from the first episode! Bryan Fuller unfortunately quit after season 1 and he was their most talented writer. He later returned in season 4 (I think) to write an episode and you could tell he wrote that because it was really good.

    OMG!! The music in the end ... just realised how much I missed that. Hope this is reminiscent of season 1.
    I actually have not seen season 4 and don't remember much of Season 3. Hopefully it won't be necessary!

    I would rather HRG than Claire. I heard she threatened to leave the show if she didn't have more screen time, thus most of season 4 was about her college life and lesbian girlfriend.
