Holy shit, my hands are still tingling. That was intense as hell.
I still think Ward is working for Coulson and they just never got the chance to meet up and tell everyone but now we have to wait three months so great.
So Skye is Daisy. Rude at her shooting Ward but Mo said Skyeward has a chance and they've been through worse so I'm not giving up hope. And hey, at least he's the only one trying to help poor Agent 33.
I was working so I will catch the majority of the episode later tonight but I caught the ending. NOOO poor Tripp! Oh Agents Of Shield why are you so damn good at leaving your show with a bang and a cliffhanger every time you take a break or end a season. So many crazy things happened in those last few minutes I can't wait to watch the whole episode from the start.
OMG OMG OMG IM GOING TO HAVE TO WATCH THAT AGAIN First thing Skye is a freaking avenger, Poor Tripp :( !! How the heck is she going to control the earthquakes? maybe Coulson will train her like Fury does in the comics?! Lol at Skye shooting Ward that was pretty funny! It will probably take me until march to process all of this
AWW YEAH DAISY AWW YEAH SHOOTING WARD AWW YEAH THAT EPIC MUSIC HELL NAW TO TRIP!
Seriously, I was so freaking excited at the end and then Trip went down and I knew it was crappy and then at first I thought he might be Inhuman, too, but then he wasn't and JUST CRUMBLED WHY!!
AND MARCH?! SERIOUSLY?!?!?! GOOD LORD HOW WILL I SURVIVE?!
This episode was intense, epic, sad... too many emotions to name. Skye transformation was beautiful and I'm going to miss Tripp. That reveal of Skyes real name being Daisy aka Quake.... WOW!!!!! March needs to hurry up and come. Ready for the second half of the season!
I loved the episode until Trip was killed. Is he dead? He was one of my favorite characters. I was hoping he would transform into something. :( Daisy Johnson and Mr Hyde finally revealed. I dont know every single person in MARVEL, maybe someone can tell me who the man was at the end of the episode..
I feel the same way. I was loving the episode right until that moment too. Then, it soured a bit for me. Not all mid-season breaks need a character death. I think Skye's transformation was an excellent way to leave the season. Tripp should have survived!
It started okay. The middle was okay. The ending was awful. Can the writers not kill any important characters who aren't of color, female, or both? Is it physically or mentally impossible or something? Because it's disgusting and obvious as hell.
to be honest they killed off a character that wasn't integral to the shows Storylines (from a show runners perspective) and they had to show the fact that Terrigen mist is fatal to non-inhumans, though i hated the fact he died i get it
When I saw him enter, I was so excited. Like, that's destiny! He's a inhuman too! That's so f******g amazing! Oh my God! Oh my God! OH MY... NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Now I want to melt into my pillow and cry like a todler...
You should definitely be worried for Triplett as I'am. Those Terrigen crystals should not be messed with and it will kill anyone that's not an Inhuman.
Very cool. Gonna take a moment to gloat a little and say: called it. OK that's done. Really looking forward to how this plays out in March. Also I gotta say I'm really looking forward to what kind of adventures MayWard33 get into.
Ehhh, that's kinda grasping at straws here though. A picture of stockings with everyone's name on it doesn't really prove that he survives being crumbled to pieces. The only way that he can be on set is if they do some flashbacks of him or something else.
Marvel has the security level of Alcatraz, they don't give much away so I would need to see a picture of him on set to believe it as they could have just asked them to include it
maybe the first scene is a flashback looking into Quicksilvers past and how he got abducted with his sister. Like a miniscene of Hydra and Shield agents racing to get them first
I don't know about anyone else but as soon as Tripp jumped into the chamber I knew he was a goner. I had hope, but I just knew. I wanted to scream "get out while you can!!!"
I knew it was going to be Trip. damN. Iwas expecting Skyr to tun him into a human again at any moment. And Raina tranformation looks kinda cool?. I liked what little we saw.
Each moment got you in the edge opf your seat. Skye shooting Ward was really good. What was he expecting her to do? say thank you? I'm glad that Mac is not a goner and he is gonna be still around. Those final moments were everything. The obelisc opening and then turned them into their "real" selves was one of the ebst moments of the season tbh
Ack, I'm gonna get it out of the way; Tripp's death was more meaningful than anything else he had done in the show. Which is kind of sad; he had such potential as a character, I think his only trait was "well liked by everyone" which will make the aftermath interesting for the rest of the team. There's nothing bad you could say about Tripp, but he could have been more, but if he had been, his death would have been way harder on the audience, which makes his lack of development purposeful
The sad part is, I don't mourn him as a character in all honesty, cause he never got to be developed as one (Contrary to Mack, who's relationship to Fitz made him more dear to me, and that I thought lost last week). I miss the potential he had, what could have been, but if there was a character to kill off for shock value, it was him.
And he went out like a boss, saving the human race. You go Tripp, may future fanfics pay you the homage you deserve.
Yeah, I mean, he could have been invited over to celebrate, he is still part oft he family, and that's not discounting flashbacks (Oh god, an episode with all remembering Tripp would kill me)
Such an amazing episode to be honest, I can't believe that last season I had to convince myself to get through episodes, how things change!
Skye is my fave, she was so amazing this episode; those moments with her dad, her badassery, saving Coulson, everything was great! (except her bad aiming; you shoot people in the head Skye, not the chest!) that last scene when Tripp crumbled away was so tragically beautiful (it might be my favorite AoS scene; it is definitely going to the heartbreaking Whedon deaths repertoire)
As much as I would rather Skye actively just kill Ward, I'm happy he is alive! he is an amazing character, and I'm pretty excited about his new partnership with 33. The FitzSimmons hug in the end was so sweet, and yay! Mack is alive (I love him so much, I know, I'm shallow) Bobbi and Hunter continue to bring so much needed levity, yet they still get their dramatic moments, their dynamic is a great addition this season!
Melinda didn't get much to do, but with Ming-Na Wen now playing 2 parts, we still get to see her a lot, and 33 is actually shaping to be a character of her own.
PS: Raina, what are you now? She is possible the only character I have loved since she appeared, .
Ahhhh it was so good the terrigenisis was so beautiful trips death was tragic if he hadnt touched the crystals he would have probably been alive :( but that scene damn!!! At least mack is still alive and well as seen in the last scene Freaking shit we have to wait 3 months now this will kill me!! But congratulations AOS pulled it off!! Hopefully they get the ratings they deserve now that we finally have superpowers!!in the show and 2 freaking avengers!!!! The last scene W*F another obelisk no eyes what an episode wow!
I liked that mostly. Most of the answers Skye/Daisy wanted to know she got from her actually nice father. Thanks for that. Ward kept his promise, but Skye shoots him anyways lol, really. Whatever happened to truce for the bigger bad. But oh well the end made up for most of it.
Finally some more in the super category is happening. I liked how Raina's change was visible,
lol. Why? After what Ward has done it's difficult to trust him and she still fells betrayed. She spare him tbh, she could've shot him in the head but she didnt.
so we now have Inhumans on the show awesome but my question is how many are evil and how many are good now that the Big Bad is dead whois the new Big Bad is it No-Eyes or another one, Skye why would shoot Ward he saved you when he could've just left you there, i don't know how i feel about Skye being a comic character, i kind of liked these characters being original characters for the show but it's awesomely insane, Skye and Coulson relationship i love it so much, i was hoping Skye would call Coulson her dad, damn iy why did Trip have to die and so painful too AARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!, it would've been funny if raina died thinking she was Inhuman LOL
His character was doing nothing tbh. I called his dead when they say it was going to be one in this episode. They didnt gave him a propper storyline and he was always driving the plane xD.
With Whitehalls death, which head is going to replace him? Im kinda sad they killed him off so quickly.. that character had a lot of potential.
Im finding the Agent 33 thing weird. We now have Dalton who was playing a good guy who was a bad guy and now is a .. well.. unknown guy and Ming Na playing a version of May that isnt May. I think when it comes to these 'superhero' style shows that everyone wants to play the 'bad guy'. It seems more fun sometimes!
I don't know if it was ever confirmed, some people may have confused him for Mackie who is much more likely to be in AOU. He could have just been visiting. He could somehow come back alive (though I doubt it). Maybe after all the jokes about Koenig being a Life Model Decoy, Trip ends up having one!
Really cool/great episode, but between "33" and "The Calvary" this could easily become the Ming - Na Wen show! 4 THE CALVARY TO THE RESCUE, I am Nobody!!!
So much cheering from me in this episode and then tears! Yep it must be mid-season finale time.
The great
+ Our glorious girl Skye emerging with her Inhumans power. Hey there Daisy and hello Quake
+ INHUMANSSSSSSSSSS!
+ Another great Skye moment shooting Ward, I cheered. Just because Ward is doing it 'for love' doesn't make his actions and attitude towards Skye any less creepy
+ Calvin! Kyle MacLachlan has been a true gift this season, every scene he is in elevates it to something else.
+ Mack is alive!!!!!!!!!
The Good
+ Fitzsimmons trying to convince each other Mack is alive, and working with each other. Awww! Maybe their grief over Trip will bring them close again.
+ The Bobbi/Lance hug was adorable
+ May worrying about Coulson and blaming herself for Skye being taken. Oh May.
+ Whitehall is dead! (Also sad at this though as he was a lot of fun)
The sad (not bad just sad)
+ My darling Trip :( I kinda knew it was gonna happen because they haven't developed his character like they have others but damn does this mean we never find out his family legacy? I want to know what Howling Commando he was related to!
+ When Calvin tells Daisy (got to get used to that name) about what happened to her mother :(
OMG... What an episode!!! I am a Flash fan but this mid season finale trumped Flash's episode last night. I know it's unfair comparison as Flash is a baby show but still. Whitehall died just like that... Skye shooting Ward and her transformation at the end. To think last season Skye was my least favorite character. Now she is on the top of my list. How glorious was the last scene in the tunnels? Poor Tripp. In a way it's good. He already was not doing anything on the show. Now I want to read all the inhuman comics... This is the best time for people who love superheroes and fantasy shows. Excellent episode.
Completely agree. I was looking forward to him being developed this season. But he hardly did anything other than some wise cracks and looking pretty this season. His death is the least emotionally impactful for me. I would have felt more if it was mac or hunter. I am glad Mac is alright. I liked Tripp though..:(
This episode was AMAZING. It surpassed all of my expectations. Skye's awkward reunion with her father went better than I thought it would, I loved that scene, Kyle MacLachlan is perfect. And whoops, called it, Skye being Daisy and the Inhumans. It's one of those instances when being right makes me feels even better than being completely surprised. The transformation sequence was stunning. My only beef with the episode is Trip. NOOOO. D: My sweet Agent Sunshine. I know they've been underusing Trip because the actor is a regular on a different show, but having Trip in the background was enough. And now they've killed him, just when we learnt that his Howling Commando grandpa is Dum Dum Dugan. Oh, Trip, sweetheart baby. I'll never stop hoping that you'll come back.
lala2, I'm right there with you (Irving and Trip). Both shows have the ability to create a way to bring the characters back. I really hope they do. It makes me sad all these people around who are saying Trip was pointless. Never saw him that way. He was the glue that kept everyone together when Ward nearly ripped them apart.
And SO loved Skye shooting Ward. Even if I barely got to enjoy it thanks to the ep ending.
In the comics, Daisy is an Avenger who eventually becomes Director of Shield, and the reason she is an Inhuman in this storyline is because any Marvel property is not allowed to say the word Mutant (X-men)
The episode was an incredible ride, one of the best, but I could've really done without the loss to the team. Even if they gave him a hero's end. While I like the addition of Mack and Morse, they aren't a substitute for Trip who stayed through the fall of SHIELD--not a hired hand after the fact. That said, I guess I knew this was coming with how the show pushed Trip to the background this season.
I'm so fed up with unnecessary character deaths. Trip's better have counted for something come March.
He was pretty important, though. He saved the team multiple times, and while I realize it packs more of a punch that way, emotional connection and all, he deserved hell of a lot better than what he got.
Oh, I agree! I loved Trip (I think I added the extra "p" b/c of Tripp from Star Trek: Enterprise - haha), and I was really sad to see him die. He was nice eye candy, and he was a really good, nice character. He went back in that hole to prevent the explosion and to save Skye and Coulson. I hate seeing good people and good characters die for no reason, esp. when seeing Skye transform would have been enough for a cliffhanger! We didn't need a death too! Honestly, I thought Mack was a goner. I didn't think Trip was going to die.
Continues to be my favorite comic book / comic book-inspired television series---and it actually feels like it is made for grown-ups. Love the action and the mythology.
This episode was insane! I feel it was their best one to date! That transformation scene was so awesome! I loved everything about it: the music and the acting. Did anyone else's heart break a little when they flashed to May standing by herself at the entrance of the hole? Everybody else they flashed to had someone to lean on during the earthquake except for her. :(
I'm not a Marvel comic person, I wish I had the time to read through all the comics so I could get the backstory on all the comic book characters. I found out after the episode, through researching who Daisy is and who Cal is. Super excited to see what becomes of them in the second half of the season! Also intrigued to see who Raina will turn out to be.
Skye shooting Ward was kind of funny. I wonder if he'll forgive her when they meet up again.
Does anyone know what song was playing in the background of the transformation scene? I know the composer was Bear McCreary but I can't find the name of the song.
Actually I don't think that Ward killed his own family. I think that he hid them somewhere and then burned his home down to get into the good graces of Whitehall
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
HOLY SHIT I'AM TRYING TO PROCESS EVERYTHING THAT HAS HAPPENED AND MY MIND IS RACING OH MY GOD THAT WAS INSANE.
ReplyDeleteHoly shit, my hands are still tingling. That was intense as hell.
ReplyDeleteI still think Ward is working for Coulson and they just never got the chance to meet up and tell everyone but now we have to wait three months so great.

ReplyDeleteAWW YEAH DAISY
ReplyDeleteAWW YEAH SHOOTING WARD
AWW YEAH THAT EPIC MUSIC
HELL NAW TO TRIP!

AND MARCH?! SERIOUSLY?!?!?! GOOD LORD HOW WILL I SURVIVE?!
Omg ! That was insane that ending wow!
ReplyDeleteI seriously thought that he was going to turn into a badass Inhuman too!! And then the poor man crumbled into dust :(
ReplyDeleteand Mack?
ReplyDeleteOMG, BEST EPISODE EVER.
ReplyDeleteSkye shooting Ward yass
Skye getting er powers yass
Skye is Daisy omg
but i'm sad for Tripp..that guy deserved better..but it was a insane episode, omg!!! Now only in march??? how i'm supposed to survive this hiatus??
This episode was intense, epic, sad... too many emotions to name. Skye transformation was beautiful and I'm going to miss Tripp. That reveal of Skyes real name being Daisy aka Quake.... WOW!!!!! March needs to hurry up and come. Ready for the second half of the season!
ReplyDeleteI am so upset right now! I loved Tripp and was hoping he would come away unscathed but alas it wasn't meant to be.
ReplyDeleteMan . . . . this and SH is just too much!
I did love seeing Skye shoot Ward though! That was great.
Mack's alive.
ReplyDeleteok cool
ReplyDeleteI loved the episode until Trip was killed. Is he dead? He was one of my favorite characters. I was hoping he would transform into something. :(
ReplyDeleteDaisy Johnson and Mr Hyde finally revealed.

ReplyDeletemack is still alive
ReplyDeleteOh, boy!
ReplyDeleteRaina is hot
ReplyDeleteIt's all in the eyes
Flower dress.
to be honest they killed off a character that wasn't integral to the shows Storylines (from a show runners perspective) and they had to show the fact that Terrigen mist is fatal to non-inhumans, though i hated the fact he died i get it
ReplyDeleteIs Raina alive? I thought she crumbled like Trip.
ReplyDeleteRaina was the 1st to slowly start to come out
ReplyDeleteyes she is, she just transformed into a furry creature with claws according to most reviews
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw him enter, I was so excited. Like, that's destiny! He's a inhuman too! That's so f******g amazing! Oh my God! Oh my God! OH MY... NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Now I want to melt into my pillow and cry like a todler...
ReplyDeleteGood, okay. That's a little better. Still really upset about Trip, though, Christ above.
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely be worried for Triplett as I'am. Those Terrigen crystals should not be messed with and it will kill anyone that's not an Inhuman.
ReplyDeleteme too :(.. I been on team Trip since he showed up last season
ReplyDeleteyeah to be honest I don't think many people survive having their heads fall off, Terrigen Crystals are not to be messed with
ReplyDeleteYou are in for one insane ride! It was so freaking good I can't even. Going to watch it 2 more times tonight :)
ReplyDeleteVery cool. Gonna take a moment to gloat a little and say: called it. OK that's done. Really looking forward to how this plays out in March. Also I gotta say I'm really looking forward to what kind of adventures MayWard33 get into.
ReplyDeleteThe make-up artist posted this Tweet last week and BJ's name is included.

Ehhh, that's kinda grasping at straws here though. A picture of stockings with everyone's name on it doesn't really prove that he survives being crumbled to pieces. The only way that he can be on set is if they do some flashbacks of him or something else.
ReplyDeleteMarvel has the security level of Alcatraz, they don't give much away so I would need to see a picture of him on set to believe it as they could have just asked them to include it
ReplyDeleteOMG! that was both Awesome and WTF? all at the same time and the end freaked me out who was that no eyes man? what is Skye going too become?
ReplyDeleteExactly! Marvel always keeps everything hush-hush. They are the top dogs at it. Especially if it's regarding a character being alive or dead.
ReplyDeleteto answer your last question: http://www.comicvine.com/quake/4005-43174/
ReplyDeleteA muppet? I highly disapprove!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA I laughed out loud at that one
ReplyDeleteflashbacks.
ReplyDeletemaybe the first scene is a flashback looking into Quicksilvers past and how he got abducted with his sister. Like a miniscene of Hydra and Shield agents racing to get them first
yes I was sad about Tripp wilting away like that that was sad but what happing too Skye just WOW!
ReplyDeleteok I do not know about any of the comics so I will check it out.
ReplyDeleteThere's a theory that he is Inhuman and his power is invisibility. I'll take it for now because I'm not convinced.
ReplyDeleteWhoa, that was great, especially the end. And we got brother touching! I'm fine.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about anyone else but as soon as Tripp jumped into the chamber I knew he was a goner. I had hope, but I just knew. I wanted to scream "get out while you can!!!"
ReplyDeleteSkye with her new powers means the SHIELD will be much stronger and HYDRA better be careful they don't want an angry skye........I mean Daisy
ReplyDeleteOMFG. YASSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

Cant believe Skye shot Ward, three times !!!
ReplyDeleteWhat gets me is that Ward didnt die though. I mean she didnt shoot him in the heart but well metaphorically speaking.
ReplyDeleteIts more the fact he has survived 3 gunshots in quick succession.
To be honest though, really.. nobody saw that coming? Ive been expecting her to return his 'feelings' by shooting him for a while now.
BEST. EPISODE. EVER. I'm gonna go and watch it again, And maybe again.
ReplyDeleteLoved it!! I don't know how I'm going to survive without a new episode until March!! Can't wait to see what happens next!
ReplyDeleteWait! Tripp went down there without a hazmat suit on...
ReplyDeleteHey, guy who said they'd never introduce Inhumans in the TV show. Yeah, you. HAH!
ReplyDeleteBJ Britt is contracted as a series regular on another show. That's why he was in so little of this season.
ReplyDeleteThey probably just saw this as a natural exit for his character.
Ack, I'm gonna get it out of the way; Tripp's death was more meaningful than anything else he had done in the show. Which is kind of sad; he had such potential as a character, I think his only trait was "well liked by everyone" which will make the aftermath interesting for the rest of the team. Currently in the comics they do nothing to regular humans. When the terrigen bomb exploded after Infinity regular people weren't affected at all.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they'll bring him back as an LMD!
ReplyDeleteThe writing was on the wall with Tripp when he was never upped to series regular between seasons.
ReplyDeleteAhhhh it was so good the terrigenisis was so beautiful trips death was tragic if he hadnt touched the crystals he would have probably been alive :(
ReplyDeletebut that scene damn!!! At least mack is still alive and well as seen in the last scene
Freaking shit we have to wait 3 months now this will kill me!!
But congratulations AOS pulled it off!! Hopefully they get the ratings they deserve now that we finally have superpowers!!in the show and 2 freaking avengers!!!!
The last scene W*F another obelisk no eyes what an episode wow!
Holy Crap, this was awesomeeeeeeeee.
ReplyDeleteHere is confirmation from Brett
ReplyDeleteI liked that mostly. Most of the answers Skye/Daisy wanted to know she got from her actually nice father. Thanks for that. Ward kept his promise, but Skye shoots him anyways lol, really. Whatever happened to truce for the bigger bad. But oh well the end made up for most of it.
ReplyDeleteFinally some more in the super category is happening. I liked how Raina's change was visible,
yes Skye should know by now that Ward would never hurt her
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, I see. Thanks :)
ReplyDeletei know. on BET. it still sucks :(. i like more on this show then MARY JANE
ReplyDeletelol. Why? After what Ward has done it's difficult to trust him and she still fells betrayed. She spare him tbh, she could've shot him in the head but she didnt.

ReplyDeleteI love when Phil met mack again and he was all like 'AGAIN' ha but it was good to see mack look OK catching coulson in the end
ReplyDeleteexactly she can't bring herself to do that and now she knows he defied orders many times what more proof could she want
ReplyDeleteLOL so you're happy
ReplyDeletethey're thinking Eyeless is a comic character called Reader
ReplyDeleteHis character was doing nothing tbh. I called his dead when they say it was going to be one in this episode. They didnt gave him a propper storyline and he was always driving the plane xD.
ReplyDeleteSkye shooting Ward was THE BEST. Undecided on how I feel about the two of them, but that was so in character. Loved it.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with you!
ReplyDeleteThat. Was. EPIC. No other word for it.
ReplyDeleteWith Whitehalls death, which head is going to replace him? Im kinda sad they killed him off so quickly.. that character had a lot of potential.

From what I gather, Skye (Daisy) is an Inhuman, not an Avenger.
ReplyDeleteDamn, what an episode.
ReplyDeleteDid not expect White Hall to die without a fight. And Skye and Tripp and that ending. Wow!!!
Tripp is dead http://insidetv.ew.com/2014/12/10/agents-shield-skye-daisy-johnson-quake-inhuman/
ReplyDeleteAwesome episode. Skye's identity was completely unexpected for me, and her father well that was a complete surprise.
ReplyDeleteOMG...
ReplyDeleteCompletely agree. I was looking forward to him being developed this season. But he hardly did anything other than some wise cracks and looking pretty this season. His death is the least emotionally impactful for me. I would have felt more if it was mac or hunter. I am glad Mac is alright. I liked Tripp though..:(
ReplyDeleteI thought the episode implied he was Dum Dum Dugan's grandson.
ReplyDeleteSkye shooting Ward was literally the best thing ever
ReplyDeleteI literally fistpumped it was a glorious moment
ReplyDeleteThis episode was AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteYES.
ReplyDeleteYES
ReplyDeleteI straight up cheered out loud, it was wonderful
ReplyDeleteAWESOME! And now I can NOT believe I have to wait until March!
ReplyDeleteMaybe, that would be cool if he was. Someone needs to check with Mo and Jed, I must know!
ReplyDeleteGood thing we've got Agent Carter to help pass the time until then, huh?
ReplyDeleteone word for the episode - EPIC!!!!!
ReplyDeleteKind of let down..the only good thing in this episode was the "transformation. "
ReplyDeleteYes seems like Ming may be working quite a lot in the future, but I'm happy to see it!
ReplyDeleteYES! :)
ReplyDeleteIn the comics however Quake has been an Avenger at times, I doubt they will go down that route though.
ReplyDeleteAt the same time it's going to be brilliant to see how Skye and the team deal with this and Trips death, how are they going to deal with it...
Except she also knows he's capable of killing his own family. Why should she trust him at all?
ReplyDeletelala2, I'm right there with you (Irving and Trip). Both shows have the ability to create a way to bring the characters back. I really hope they do. It makes me sad all these people around who are saying Trip was pointless. Never saw him that way. He was the glue that kept everyone together when Ward nearly ripped them apart.
ReplyDeleteAnd SO loved Skye shooting Ward. Even if I barely got to enjoy it thanks to the ep ending.
In the comics, Daisy is an Avenger who eventually becomes Director of Shield, and the reason she is an Inhuman in this storyline is because any Marvel property is not allowed to say the word Mutant (X-men)
ReplyDeleteThe episode was an incredible ride, one of the best, but I could've really done without the loss to the team. Even if they gave him a hero's end. While I like the addition of Mack and Morse, they aren't a substitute for Trip who stayed through the fall of SHIELD--not a hired hand after the fact. That said, I guess I knew this was coming with how the show pushed Trip to the background this season.
ReplyDeleteI'm so fed up with unnecessary character deaths. Trip's better have counted for something come March.
It was a glorious moment!!! I love Skye
ReplyDeleteHe was pretty important, though. He saved the team multiple times, and while I realize it packs more of a punch that way, emotional connection and all, he deserved hell of a lot better than what he got.
ReplyDeleteOh, I agree!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I thought Mack was a goner. I didn't think Trip was going to die.
Awesome doesn't even begin to describe it. This was an epic episode all around. Just incredible.
ReplyDeleteAwesome episode action all the way through....this show just keeps getting better:)
ReplyDeleteContinues to be my favorite comic book / comic book-inspired television series---and it actually feels like it is made for grown-ups. Love the action and the mythology.
ReplyDeleteSo, I take it the obelisk is some kind of evolution jump cable for certain people?
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm bummed that Tripp died. I liked him.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a Marvel comic person, I wish I had the time to read through all the comics so I could get the backstory on all the comic book characters.
