Great episode, great characters. Love Christian Kane and the red haired girl - they are scene stealers especially when they are paired and interacting among each other.
nice another Angel fan and yeah now that you say it she does remind me of Fred LOL, and someone on this show must be a Chuck fan because so far in all three episodes there have Chuck alums and there's two regular Chuck alums: Rebecca and John
I guess I'm in the minority. I do not find this show very entertaining. I admit part of it is the lack of backstory because I haven't watched the movies, but it's also pretty lame and I don't buy Rebecca Romijn in the fight scenes at all. I don't know if it's poor stunt coordination or if it's just her but it seriously falls flat. Considering all of the great shows that are on, I won't be continuing on with this one. Sad because I love Christian Kane and was looking forward to The Librarians.
LOVE The Librarians . One the whole family can enjoy! ! folks of every age can sit back and have fun and enjoy. Christian Kane brought his own magic to The Librarians.. and to his movie 50 to 1 which is another family friendly project.. It's coming out on DVD/VOD Spring 2015 .. so be on the look out for that as well ..you will love it too! this has been the #YearOfKane.. Next year will be a great one too! #YeaOfKaneToo LOL
My rating of The Librarians is awesome! The whole cast has great chemistry. Christian Kane is my favorite hands down. I am really looking forward to watching what happens with Jacob Stone.
Nice to know I'm not the only one, Sophie. The Librarians is seriously lacking something and I'm not going to get invested in something that's mediocre.
I love Christian Kane and watch it because of him! It is a fun show and I'm hoping for things to settle in soon. I like the Eziel Jones character and love JL. It has great potential! I plan to watch every week! It is not possible to judge a show on one or two episodes.....just saying.
I'm enjoying the light hearted whimsy of the show. It's cute, even funny at times. I saw the movies and was a fan. Noah Wyle not being on the show more regularly is a little disappointing and I miss Jane Curtain and Bob Newhart. However, the new cast is good together, except Rebecca she doesn't quite fit. Yes you can say its cheesy and the special effects aren't that special but that is not really the focus of the show. Its just a good clean hour of entertainment like television use to be. No blood and guts, no rape and murder, no graphic sex and foul language, no zombies and best of all no reality show format. Everyone needs some magic and adventure in their lives. I'm gonna get mine Sunday nights on TNT. #TheLibrarians
I watch for Christian Kane... John Laroquette is fantastic too! Romjin... I am not a fan of.... hopefully her character will "smooth" out & not be so "center stage".... just sayin
The movies preceding the show do set the expectations, and quite frankly, these movies were fun and entertaining, sometimes campy, but in a good way. There is an evolution to Flynn's character as you go through the movies. The Librarians as a show is truly an evolution of the movies and very faithful too. Like anything else, the show doesn't take itself too seriously, so watching this is all about escapism. But it's nice to see that shows like Warehouse 13 took a lot of ideas from The Librarian movies, Warehouse 13 wasn't all that original unto itself. I never knew that, until I watched the 3 Librarian movies prior to watching the new Librarians show. I think it was worth the time, I watched all 3 movies back-to-back. Wasn't bored the least. But hey, what entertains me, won't always entertain others.
I think that Curtin and Newhart will show up eventually, Flynn's quest is to find the original Library, so I believe that he's bound to come back and so will these 2 characters, if only for a few selected episodes. Obviously, the whole point of the Librarians is that it can't be business as usual.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Another great episode!
ReplyDeletedon't know if i'm supposed to ship Stone and Cassandra but yeah another great episode

ReplyDeleteI think I would've liked it more if I had seen the movies. Unfortunately they aren't available on Netflix.
ReplyDeleteThey are cheap on Amazon as DVDs and there are other alternatives....
