I still hate that they shacked Rebekah to the baby. I don't believe that Rebekah could care for a baby on her own - I think she'd just compel herself a full-time nanny to do most of the work and actually raise the child and then Rebekah would just play with the baby from time to time when she felt like it.
Bingo. Her desire to have a family of her own and at least a semi-normal life is maybe the only morsel of consistency shown by the writers when it comes to Rebekah.
Claire Holt looks beautiful and that baby is sooo cute, i know i should be happy that rebekah and elijah are reunited but the way things have been going with elijah i'm actually scared of him being that close to Hope, is that terrible of me to think?
But she's always had such a short attention span. I couldn't see her character doing things like changing diapers and getting up in the middle of the night to feed the baby.
That's not how I'd describe her time on TVD. She was attention starved, romantically naive, and generally both petty and bitter. Femme Fatales use their sexuality as a weapon but sexuality was Rebekah's weakness not her strength.
Glad Rebekah's back, even if it's temporary. Here's hoping we'll get to see Haley spending time with her daughter whilst Rebekah is off with Elijah and Klaus.
Elijah would never hurt Hope, he saved her so many times and Haley. But yes because Esther I dont know if that spell is still in him, Maybe he is playing her. Elijah looks good with the baby. So where are Haley and Klaus. In the Dec episode is he cured. My poor Elijah!!! I wish he could be happy.
yeah, well she wanted Stefan, then wanted Damon, then she wanted to be human.... Rebekah can be so easily obsessed with things but she gets bored with them just as easily. i cant stand that basically all the originals are just shadows of themselves. i loved them in TVD but now they are so OOC that i cant even watch
I know. Elijahus is a parody for Elijah's 'evil' personality that is locked behind the red door, like Angelus aka Angel's from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
This seems like a rewrite of the character of Rebekah. All Rebekah has ever wanted was a family of her own with a white picket fence. She has always wanted to be loved. I think caring for a baby and having that baby unconditionally love her qualifies. Rebekah has always been steadfast in this want. Not sure where you are getting that she is "easily obsessed with things and gets bored with them just as easily"....this seems to be a mis-characterization of the character. For instance, she has remained with her family for over a thousand years....despite not liking them very much....seems like she has held steadfast for quite a while.
true, I love this theme about this show. It might be about murderous vampires, psychotic witches and rabbies contracting werewolves (someone needs to take Jackson to the vet, I think he needs to stay away from the show a little) but that theme makes it kind of heartwarming
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteactually she might not grow tired of a child she cares for, maybe Hope warmed the old ladies heart up a little?
ReplyDeleteWell Rebekah was mostly utilized as femme fatale in season 1, pretty consistent to her TVD time

ReplyDeleteThe show isnt the same with Rebekah gone.

ReplyDeletei want this scene with Rebekah and Nope
You're sick.
ReplyDeleteThis seems unnecessarily tasteless. I get it, you don't like kids...whatever...why comment, on a convo about them.....
ReplyDeleteSeriously....this is beyond.
Yep, the baby is seriously cute.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that Claire Holt is back.
Yikes, I had not thought of this scenario!
ReplyDeleteThat would be crazy if it happened. Esther has no idea that Hope is alive....so I have no idea....
elijahus? it's elijah
ReplyDeleteI know.
