This season has been MUCH BETTER so far. The show works when it focuses on the spy espionage stuff rather than the crap fest known as 'The Brody Family Drama and Dana'. Lockhart working WITH Carrie?! This should be fun!
ReplyDeleteOMG Dana has to have been one of the most annoying and least compelling characters. I'm so glad she's gone.
ReplyDeleteA manic aka Carrie working as a spy for the CIA god hope not. If it were real life and she was a boss and one of her operative tried calling and she was AWOL not answering her phone during an operation she would have been fired and sent back home. The only way she could have kept her post is if she had been shot, and was lying in a hospital or she had been captured and was being held there is no excuse another words for her ignoring her phone during an important operation in real life that is.This is made up stuff from some writers that never been to the Middle East and don't know any real CIA operatives and it shows. Still a fun show to watch, but irritating to watch at the same time.
ReplyDeleteDana the overly nosy daughter from hell!
ReplyDeleteBut do you think some of it's because her boss is so far away geographically that he has little sense of what's really going on. I know it's the CIA, but that also means it's a government entity, i.e., bureaucracy. And in a bureaucracy if you're lower on the food chain and it's your boss that's screwing up, it's a difficult spot to be in. Because often your boss's boss doesn't want to know that things aren't going smoothly. That the person in charge off site is screwing up. You can also be committing career suicide by reporting your boss.
