Netflix finally realized there's always money in the banana stand.
The streaming video service made headlines earlier this week when Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos said he was "positive" that "Arrested Development" would be coming back for Season 5, and now that news has been confirmed.
While stopping by "The Tonight Show," Will Arnett opened up to Fallon about the Netflix comments, saying, "It's gonna happen. We don't know when, but it is going to happen." And if that wasn’t exciting enough, he also outed the Netflix CCO as a cyborg.

Never had a doubt!
ReplyDeleteBut.... when? XD
Awesome news even if it is not detail-filled!
I hope they bring the cast back together this time to film the episodes all together instead of separated like last seasons. I love this show I mean love it. But last season on netflix was very lack luster compared the other seasons because the cast was to busy with all their other roles to get together and film scenes together so they filmed each episode focusing on a single character. Bring the actors together and I would be all over that.
ReplyDeleteYay :does chicken dance:
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it didn't end on that cliffhanger. I like the 4th season but I hope they can have the main cast interact more as a whole. I know scheduling is difficult but I love the Bluths interacting with one another.
Someday there is going to be more Arrested Development! I'm fine with that.
ReplyDeleteBut seriously, they need to think of a schedule for future seasons or movies or whatever, otherwise we'll have more hiatus than we'll have the show streaming episodes
Great news.... Season 4 might have got mixed reactions... But I thought it was one of the most brilliant, innovative and complex season of a comedy show ever...so, here is hoping for an even better season 5
ReplyDeleteAgreed.
ReplyDeleteI find it more funny each time I watch it. Some of the connectivity is so subtle and amazing! Season 4 really works when watched as a full season or upon multiple viewings.
That said, I think it does not work as well on the episodic level. Which is important to many people that don't have time or desire to watch the full season multiple times.
