  1. I am tempted to vote for Finn and Octavia telling the others off because I was yelling with them, but in the end the best thing about this episode was the coup. Even in the rewatch I was so drawn in that I had to go back again to write the scenes down for the poll.

The ending by far, mostly because it leaves you so hooked for the next episode. Everything else works great too, and all of the scenes are worth voting for. My n#2 would probably be Clarke sneaking behind Finn's back and telling Bellamy to follow them. I can't stress this enough: I'm so glad that The 100 doesn't rely on stereotypes! In any other show Clarke would have just outright trusted Finn, but here she does the sane thing to do since the grounders also bring weapons with them.
God, this show is good. I hope it grabs a wider audience in the fall (since Arrow will probably perform better in the fall it can capitalize on that)

I liked all the Ark scenes and Bellarke's scenes. But my favorite was Clarke talking to Anya. Very intense scene.

Finn just annoyed me in this episode.

  5. You guys should add some Bellarke choices like the following: Bellamy/Clarke being all smiley and friendly during the party scene. We rarely see them smile. So that's beautiful AND rare to watch. And also the scene where Bellamy saves Clarke's life with just ONE SHOT. Such an impressive move. And it proves that Clarke was right to trust Bellamy to watch her back. He did just that.

I'm with Bellarke on this one. The Grounders also broke their promises and came with their own back ups in the trees with spears ready to attack.

Finn put Clarke in huge risk. Her going over by herself to chat with Lady Grounder wasn't a smart choice.

And I love that Clarke fully trusts Bellamy now. Even with her own life. That's what I call REAL build up. None of these "quick hook ups" after 2 episodes!

I also actually liked Raven in this episodes in her scenes with Jasper. I think he brings out a lighter side of her. And that's refreshing. I see potential in Jasper/Raven. Both were burned by other people...

As a side remark, this is the THIRD time that Bellamy saved Clarke. :) I hope that continues.

  6. Can I vote for everything? I had never felt so stressed out by watching a tv show. But my favorite was probably the bombing on the ark. That made me drop my jaw.

  9. The scenes on the ship and the meeting with the leader of the Grounders were excellent. I think I was tense throughout most of this episode.. I also wanted to scream at Clarke, Bellamy and Jasper for screwing things up. I think that Finn had the right idea in mind by trying to negotiate a truce. I also really liked Octavia and Lincoln in this episode

  11. I have to say the unity day celebration on earth and on the ark were my favorite. The one on earth was funny with the 100 and the one on the ark was shocking. I was getting so into both plot. Oh and the scenes with Bellamy, Jasper, and Raven cracked me up. And obviously the Bellamy and Clarke scenes. You don't see those two often relax and just when they are Finn kills it. But I did like that Finn tried to bring peace. They need to expand his character more and not always be between Raven and Clarke. Its gotten old.

  12. yeah, something is wrong with the actor who's playing Finn, or he just annoys me so much, because he's such a moral character when it comes to grounders, peace, war, but I hate that i can't make up his mind and say to Raven that he has feelings for Clarke and just end it with her, instead of always trying to touch Clarke and still be with Raven. UGH

Or Raven should just dump him.

I noticed that everyone's is going on about why Bellamy took Jasper with him - it was explained, when he came in the tent where Raven and Jasper was (MY NEW FAVOURITE SHIP, BTW), he said to Jasper that he's going because he knocked out Lincoln before. And Bellamy does not know that Jasper is in bad shape mentally, because he was not in the camp when the nuts happened. :)

  13. I agree with you. I think Clarke was totally justified in bringing Bellamy because the grounders brought back up too. I don't think that Jasper should have started shooting though. He didn't know if they were going to hurt Clarke, but Clarke is crazy for even going by herself across the bridge.

Also, I have to say that Finn annoys me. I don't really know why, but he does.

  14. I keep voting for Ark scenes. They are so intense!

  15. Same here and even though we'd seen that bombing in the promo, I was still shocked when it happened.
I also really liked the Anya/Clarke interaction ... Anya saying "they wouldn't be the first to try" has me really intrigued. I want to learn more about the grounders, their people, their society, their politics, etc.

  16. yay the best moment is actually at the top!

  17. Just because the other side brings em, doesn't mean you need to, its a meeting, there is not much point in killing someone over talks of peace.

I went with Clarke watching the drop ship, or what she assumed was the drop ship, crash and burst into flames. She had barely any lines in that scene and everything was through her facial expressions. She went from being giddy and excited to absolutely devastated in a few seconds. Fantastic acting. Also it's interesting to note that some of that reaction must have been for her mother. She hates her and doesn't want to talk to her but when confronted with the prospect of her being dead it brings out all the residual feelings Clarke still has for her.

I also liked the scene between Anya and Clarke. Not necessarily all the other stuff that went on around it but the actual meeting and conversation between them. The idea that they're the bad guys never even crossed Clarke's mind, the fact that everything they've done since they got there could be interpreted as acts of war was very clever writing. Clarke went in thinking they had the moral and ethical high ground and had an advantage with all their technology. Anya smacked that idea right out of her head. The Grounders are not afraid of them, they don't see themselves as being in the wrong, they're just trying to survive too. Dichen Lachman looked so damn cool too. Most amazing entrance I've seen a character make on TV for quite some time. I loved Clarke's reaction to the horses too :)

  19. Same. The children screaming gave me chills.
I was also intrigued by the grounders. The show definitely needs to go deeper into their backstory.
