    He's piloting the resistance against the Trags who are bent on making human kind extinct. He's also giving Emery something to work for and someone to be with. I'd say he's got a pretty strong role.

    So far Grayson hasn't plotted anything and all he's accomplished at this point is successfully blackmailing a classmate for something he didn't do. Moreover, Emery doesn't need Grayson to give her something to work for and never has. So far Emery has destroyed Black Cyper and saved the life of her friend while doing so, exposed some terrorist Red Hawks, and helped save Julia and Teri from some corporate thugs. That's a helluva lot more than Grayson has ever done and she didn't need a group of 'new Red Hawks' to do it.



    Emery doesn't need Grayson. In fact, it's very much the other way around. Grayson needs people like Emery and Drake because he and his new Red Hawks are pretty useless without them.
