ReplyDeleteSo, the have 6 new dramas for the new season and one empty slot. The Mentalist will be done by midseason as it only got a partial order. The must be reducing comedy hours to 3. TAAHM also got a partial order according to deadline, so one of the new comedies can replace it, I'm guessing The McCarthys. But still, that a lot of new shows with very little free space.

ReplyDeleteThe Mentalist could be used on Friday 8/7 and save UB until January and run that straight through - that show may only produce 15 episodes like this past season. I don't think they are able to produce 22 episodes of UB any longer. TM could also be held as a replacement for a failed drama.

SEASON 7!!!! ♥
They could make it a serialized story for the entirety of the 13 episodes. Drop the procedural aspect ( not completely but have some small elements of it in the background) and focus on the main case of the encrypted names. Make it a compelling story with a great ending and fans will remember the show with fondness when it's done.
