I think nothing of this would have happened if Hetty had been honest about the mission. If she had told Kensi honestly what to expect and what she was supposed to do, Kensi would have never given herself up to the Taliban. Instead of that Hetty told her that there might be a mole among her co-workers, which as it turned out to be was bs. I really like Hetty but it annoys me that she always has a secret agenda. Was there any benefit for anyone that Kensi didn't know about Jack while Hetty was pretty aware of the situation?
Hetty pissed me off, what was that speech to Sam ab Deeks??again thinking less of him just bc he isn't an agent. Kensi is an agent and I think her actions were pretty dumb...going to the enemy camp and screaming her ex's name without knowing if he was undercover and punting both their lives in danger. Also, agree with everyone else who thinks this is too much of a rehash of the Deeks situation, which for me was way to quickly fixed. Writers could you at least wait for a full season before you use the same scrip?! I really can't wait for this story arc to be over bc I found it unrealistic from the start, I'm glad Dani's back so we can get back to the old NCIS LA.
I don't think Hetty was thinking less of Deeks because he isn't an agent though, after all she wants him to be an agent, t'was more due to how emotionally invested he is in Kensi, which could result in him going too far (and almost did).
But yes, Kensi's actions were just dumb, and Hetty's actions in keeping it all secret were also stupid and was only really done to add intrigue for us viewers to the detriment of the plot. Overall though it was a fantastic episode but we'll just have to see where they go from here.
I completely agree that Hetty needs to held accountable for her actions in this mission gone wrong. An operative must have all the information possible to complete a mission as safely as possible. Hetty's secrets made a dangerous situation even more so. Plus, how did Hetty think Kensi would react if she had been successful in killing a target whom she not only had a personal relationship with, but turned out not to be the White Ghost after all? I hope Kensi calls Hetty out on her deceit. Last but not least, where in the did the interpreter come from? He told Deeks the cleric said, "I love the Taliban." when the man really said he loved his son who was in the Taliban. That's one hell of a mistake to make.
Yeah, you are probably right but something ab that scene just bothered me. I must say both Eric and Daniela are great at drama, fantastic acting by them.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Excuse me I'll just be over there, you know...dying.
