Nyssa al Ghul (Katrina Law) is coming back to Starling City…and she’s bringing some friends!
At the end of the most recent episode of Arrow, fans were left wondering exactly what Sarah (Caity Lotz) meant when she said she was leaving town to go see “an old friend.” Now the mystery has been officially solved: “She went to go get help,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg says. “Because when you’re fighting an army, you need an army.”
The finale, titled “Unbreakable,” is an all-out war, says Kreisberg. “It’s the Arrow, Canary and Roy and the League of Assassins versus Slade and his Mirakuru army for the city.”
The comic book drama’s closer — which Kreisberg also calls “f—ing insane” — airs May 14.

Katrina Law is perfect. I'm so excited for the finale!!
ReplyDeleteDamn I'm excited for this.
ReplyDeleteNot much of spoiler considering they said EVERYONE is returning.
ReplyDeleteI wonder why they are not mentioning Merlyn and the side he is on. Or is he on a side? Maybe he just comes back to get Thea out and decides to stay out of the fight?
ReplyDeleteAlso, has the title changed? In the story it says "Unbreakable"?
ReplyDeleteMwah, he wore his uniform in a few set photos, so I guess (and hope!) he is involved in the action.
ReplyDeleteNot as far as I know. EW must have it wrong.
ReplyDeleteWe know he is involved in the action. But we don't know why. It could be just to get Thea out, and he is a "neutral third party" trying to save his daughter, leaving the rest to fight amongst themselves.
ReplyDeleteIs that Merlyn in the background?
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the finale. I liked Nyssa. And I am excited for that storyline. Still wondering who gets kidnapped though...Either Laurel or Felicity.
ReplyDeleteOh gee, heaven forbid Digg & Felicity rate a mention. I guess they're just kicking back in the lair ordering big bellow burgers. LOL. Glad to see Katrina Law back for some good fight sequences.
ReplyDeletePerhaps. Though whatshisname from 2.05 (played by the dude from Homeland) (names are eluding me today) wore a costume like that. Could just be another League minion.
ReplyDeleteis that Merlyn next to her ? This guy is using a bow
ReplyDeleteI'm fairly certain it's Merlyn, This dude is sporting the same compound bow Merlyn used in the past
ReplyDeleteThe season finale will be EPIC!! I can't wait for it!
ReplyDeleteI seriously doubt Sara is going to survive the finale, but a big part of me wants her to leave with Nyssa. I ship them.
ReplyDeleteDid the show tweak Nyssa's outfit? I don't remember any red flourishes and there looks to be other subtle changes too.
ReplyDeleteThe EPs have said Felicity plays a big role in the finale; they probably just don't want to give any hints that spoil it. The description for Seeing Red didn't give any indication that it would be a big episode for Moira, and we all know how that turned out. I don't think Felicity or Diggle will die but my money is on Felicity being the one taken by Slade.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree. I really doubt Malcolm is going to get involved now. He probably just wants to protect Thea.
ReplyDeleteSo excited, it's going to be epic.
ReplyDeleteWow. Sarah bringing in reinforcements in the form of her League of Assassins buddies. This is going to be so epic!
ReplyDeleteCool. But the League of Assassins are bad too. Mirakuru army vs League of Assassins. They will kill each off. LOL. It will be epic. I imagine that in exchange for help the deal the League wants Sarah to come back . So hopefully a bunch of them of the assassins will get wiped out after Slades army is dust.
ReplyDeleteThey are bad, however, they have a goal which allows them work with heroes, from time to time, as well.
ReplyDeleteMerlyn is on the run from LOA and why the hell he be standing next to the daughter of the man who is looking for him lol
ReplyDeletemaybe he has a special arrangement with her ? It's not like she IS Ras Al Ghul, she's just his kid. I'm fairly certain that either Nyssa or Sara will die in the finale though ultimately leading the LOA to Star City seeking revenge. Merlyn doing the killing would make sense.
ReplyDeletethis finale will be intense with everyone joining to fight one enemy!
ReplyDeleteWhen he learns of Moira death and endangerment of Thea's life. Slade gonna wish he didnt kill Moira lol
ReplyDeleteI still think the big role is her connection with the Flash.
ReplyDeleteAnd Sara left in 220 to go see a friend...big shocking news that everyone pretty much figured out by the end of 213.
ReplyDeletewhen i think of the words unthinkable and arrow....i can only think of one thing that would truly "unthinkable". Oliver is going to die at the end of the season. He will be killed by Slade and then (probably in s3e1) be resurrected in the lazarus pit by Merlyn at the urging of Thea.
ReplyDeleteCrazy stuff is happening when LOA is joining forces with team arrow to fight Slade army.....they must have some common goal........revenge for Moira? no?
ReplyDeleteYay! Nyssa is so cool, and I hope we get some insight into she and Sara's past relationship when she returns.
ReplyDeleteDeals are made. How many, I'm not yet sure. Sara is probably gone back to them. If (and this is a big if) Merlyn decides to help Arrow due to Moira's death and Thea's attack, he might also have gone over to Ras for help as well (turn himself in, make deals, maybe the reason he would return next season was to do Ras' work in the city).
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking the "unthinkable" is his complete poverty at the end
ReplyDeleteWow this is going to be fudging epic. Can't wait!
