Stark kids being orphans and fugitives on top of that. Tyrion lannister cause it isn't fair his family treats him so badly for no other crime than being a dwarf and Peter Dinkledge plays him so well I can't help but love him
I picked Arya, - just love to watch these type of characters. I do prefer her on the books. Tyron - he's the most interesting and complex character on the Show. I love him in the books and on the show. Jaime - he was the biggest surprise character for me. I like him on the show and in the books. But reading from his POV is essential to my opinion of him. Nr. 4 would be Jon Snow - he was on my top 3 for a long time, but his self pity is dragging on too much for my taste, more on the show than in the books.
Tyrion and Sansa. Sansa because she's a perpetual victim, the complete opposite of her sister. I hope Mr Martin has plans for her (as she is a POV character) because I would really like to see her as a player rather than a pawn. Tyrion because his life has been a tragedy from the mooment he was born.
I definitely agree all of the remaining Starks have it really bad but I think Sansa has it the worst. Her situation just seems so much more hopeless than the others. They all have some sort of freedom and a purpose where as she is trapped in playing along with the politics of it all where one wrong move could end in her death.
Arya gets all the attention for her strength but I think if Sansa wasn't in constant fear of her life she could be just as strong (could even be argued she's been stronger given that she's had to deal with all of the crap she has).
My favorite character is Jon Snow, and then I really enjoy Davos and Bran. Of course I like the Stark girls and Tyrion but my fourth pick had to be Ned Stark, because that character still has a big resonance in me.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Pretty much all of the remaining members of Stark family.

ReplyDeleteDitto! They started out as a large family, but if this keeps up there won't be any left by the time the series ends..

ReplyDeleteSansa, she doesn't seem to have the fight in her that the rest on the list do, Joffrey beat it out of her
