    Great, we lost Katherine and now we need to endure more of Damon and Elena's awkward "chemistry" and their gross relationship. This season only gets worse.

    So damon gets ANOTHER free pass, Elena goes on another one of her annoying soul searches trying to "find herself", and Stefan... is doing nothing. Such great character development.

    Yeah, maybe people thought she was a bad character then cause they thought she was weak, but at least she had morals. I liked her character back then.

    I think this promo was designed to intentionally keep Delena shippers interested. It looks like Elena will have a hard time staying away from Damon even though she should hate him. The virus will draw her to him. Caroline's voice-over warning Elena that the virus is getting into her head is probably a continuation of what she was doing before while Elena was dating Damon. Old habits die hard, and now there are new reasons for Caroline to want Elena to leave Damon. I just remembered that Damon drank Tyler's blood. Since Damon carries the initial version of the virus in his system, who knows what else he's carrying now. HE might be the cure for Elena. What would happen if one vampire with the virus fed off of another one with the virus? Would there just be more of the virus, or does it change composition in the bloodstream? Since Elena is carrying the werewolf-venom-riddled virus and her bite may be lethal, could her own blood be the cure if she bites Damon? Could there be other implications to the virus inside Elena, even if she gets her behavior under control? Caitlin McHugh (Sloan) posted a picture of herself in a fighting stance with a fake werewolf. Is it a coincidence that the next episode airs the same week there's going to be a full moon on TO? There have been indications that Elena's behavior problems in the next episode will be solved very quickly. The question is how. Maybe the mental issues will solve themselves. Elena is supposed to feel very awkward around Damon two episodes from now. There still isn't a synopsis for the next episode. I find that very strange.

    Not a refresh of the sire bond. Elena's behavior is out of control because the virus is changing her inside and out. I'm sure her feelings for Damon are only a symptom.

    I think it's the second one. Elena will crave vampire blood, and vampires will die while she feeds off of them. I think Wes might have figured out how to create a hybrid, just not one like Klaus or Tyler. Maybe Elena will change into a wolf, maybe she won't. Sloan is supposed to face off with a werewolf, that's all I know. That and the next episode falls on a week when there's a full moon on TO. Wes wouldn't want to just kill one vampire by injecting them, like Katherine thought. He would want to make that vampire much more dangerous to every vampire around them..

    Sounds like a sirebond re-fresh. It was Damon's blood in Elena's system like a virus and her feelings for him that created the sirebond. We spent half year debating whether her true feelings were the actual symptoms or genuine.

    Um, now that Katherine is dead can we please get a new bad ass villain. I need a villain who will stick around and play mind games on the entire group or something please. To bad we won't be getting that by the looks of this promo.
