    So it looks like Mary might marry Francis because his fate changes- he doesn't die. This makes me so sad because I'd really hoped Mary would marry Bash :( I just love them together.

    I've read somewhere that Nostradamus told Mary once that she would not be happy with her mariage or something no there's still a chance for the Mash shippers.

    I think if Clarissa is Catherine's First Born this probably better fits Nostradamus' prophecy as Leila said Mary did cause her death. The question I have - maybe it was explained already on the show - did Nostradamus realize Clarissa was Catherine's daughter? (Apologies if Nostradamus did know and I have forgotten) "We" just found out recently Clarissa's parentage. Catherine thought Clarissa was dead since her failed attempt to fix her face.

    That's IF Clarissa is really dead and was just stunned ... she's smart and likely knows how to remain absolutely quiet and still from years in the castle's tunnels.

    I think he's known it for a long time ( Clarissa being Catherine's daughter ) though I don't think he's ever said it ( or I might have forgotten either haha :D )


    Seriously, if Clarissa is really dead, I think I'm going to have to say "bye" to Reign because killing off such an interesting character would ruin this great series.

    I do think that Clarissa is dead but with Nostradamus where's what I think will happen.

    Francis and Lola return back at court then Mary's mother shows up, gives her crap about wedding Bash.

    Mary and Bash take off with plans to elope, after finding out from the other ladies Mary's and Bash's plan, Lola tells Francis because of thier sex time and continues to be the worst friend ever.

    After finding them Francis , realizes how serious they are about getting married. So he finds something to hold over/ bribe / threatin Nostradamus with, an that's what his the queen will kill me herself line.

    Something else I think is that Mary will do is whatever is right fior Scotland, even if Francis dies as a result because, she's a queen sometimes they don't get to do what they think is the right thing

    Also this..


    So Francis still dies , Bash will be heart broken but still a confident of Mary's cause who else supports her like he does.
    Mary figures everything out next week and the drama wil continue.

    Mary and Francis are so great together - they balance each other out. Bash and Mary are boring.. she says something.. he disagrees… does something behind her back… she gets mad… he gets scared… he caves..ZZZZZZ Atleast Francis has the nerve to question, disagree and challenge Mary.

    Oh no, I thought that her first born would die but I've just seen the pilot again and he (Nostradamus) says ".. His union with Mary... She will cost Francis his life." and then, in the end of the episode ".. Mary will bring your son's death."
    So she must marry Bash if she doesn't want Francis to get killed.

    Thanks for the link. Nos said nothing about Mary causing Catherine's 'First Born's' death, the prophecy specifically mentioned Francis by name. I don't think we've seen this vision though. Clarissa may not even be the 'first born' as there's an obvious age gap between Francis and his younger brothers.

    Well, I'm sure that Francis is not Catherine's first born since in the pilot, her sister is getting married to some Spanish guy which means she's older than Francis... :)

    Yeah, that's what I vaguely recall, too - the Nostradamus' father knew but he didn't ... not for sure at least. He must have assumed at some point that the baby was born to important persons since if Clarissa was born to peasants they would not have bothered with correcting her face.
