It just completely caught me off guard. The entire episode I was under the impression that April changed her mind and that something went wrong and then it turns out they've been married all this time.
Exactly, they wanted to mislead us. April and Jackson didn't interact throughout the entire episode and then there was Leah saying something like "You're alone, Stephanie's alone, April's alone. Seemed like it owrked out just fine".
In the interview they kept saying they were picking up right where they left off,so that also threw us for a loop, but I'll tell you i liked the opening. I was expecting to see the yelling and crying and the whys/what and all that goes along with something like that, instead to see them running from that had more of an impact on me.
I thought that too, thank goodness Ausiello had spoiled that he thought the beginning had to be a hallucination, so I knew it was real! Still, I was muttering, "is this happening? Is this ACTUALLY happening??????" So happy, though!
This entire episode was amazing! I do have to go for the Japril scenes because they were EVERYTHING. Also, Arizona's scream, her and Bailey fishing for gossip, Mer and Der's hilarious bickering towards the end, and Leah saying Stephanie got left "near an altar". (They should stick to Leah being funny, that's the only time she's tolerable).
The secret marriage was definitely the best. No one saw that coming. It was the most brilliant thing they have done on Grey's in a long time. They had everyone mad the entire episode and then you find out they're married and you can't get the smile off your face. It was genius.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Arizona scream lol

ReplyDeleteHa, that one was hilarious. I just hope security wasn't too hard on the catman.

ReplyDeleteApril and Jackson decide to secretly get married, and they run off together.
ReplyDeleteShonda struck once again! A lot of people had the same impression,Shonda wanted us to believe that, imo.

ReplyDeleteThe first scene was so insane. It felt like a dream sequence and I kept thinking to myself there's no way this is actually happening.

ReplyDeleteKarev beats Shane up
ReplyDeleteI liked what Sarah Drew said in one of her interviews. She said that what went down inside might have been inappropriate for broadcast television.
ReplyDeleteJimmy dying and Alex consoling the father who he had issues with for so many years stands out for me, as it really shows how much Alex has grown.
ReplyDeleteIn some respects, of course. The situation with Jo also shows how far he still has to come ;)
LoL,I would imagine she'd be right!
