I loved the episode. The gifts were great. Jane really wanted to take Lisbon with him so it was her fault she didn't go. On the other hand it would have meant her being left alone again. Jane at his finest.
Any Jisbon scene is always perfect but Abbott and the robot! I gotta say they almost made me like him... Fisher is still a no although Emily as an actress is getting to me.. I dunno, the team scenes were good enough but the cases are terribly predictable in TM 2.0 and I think that's the biggest issue at the moment for me. I've made my peace with the lack of jisbon (not with the lack of Lisbon though)
Best scene is Lisbon interrupting Fischer complaining to Abbott about Jane to casually tell Abbott Jane called and needs a black helicopter and something that looks like a tank.
What is with Jisbon? They had one scene where Jane did not care she stayed, cringeworthy! replace it with "everyone betrays truth about themselves" one of his best one liners. Among his life line about protection and justice.
Jane watching Fischer constantly full episode long should be in the poll: twice in his airstream, at the end watching her with his gift. Fingers crossed Teresa hooks up with the new guy and Fischer/Jane get more time to continue building their relationship.
Favorite scene: Jane letting Alex, the real killer, of the hook. Just like he read everyone elses secret desire he sensed Marsha secretly being in love with Alex. When he pressured him hard enough she gave herself up to save him and Jane kept the promise to Alex as he promised to "help him" have him come out the "big hero".
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Abbott for sure. Love how he was like "Yes sure Jane ditched you but LOOK, ROBOT!". That was just adorable.
