Whoa at how old Kira's mom is. And hee at her going for a much younger man. Loved getting some Papa Stilinski backstory! Awesome that everyone tried to work together to get him back.
What in the world is going on with this episode? All this supernatural stuff aside from Wolves is so confusing. Didn't Deaton mentioned there's been supernatural existence in Beacon Hills way before the Hale family? I sure hope Stiles does not die. They don't kill Stiles. Poor Allison & her break down. I see Papa Stalinsky is just as smart as Stiles... What does that chess board mean for Derek & Isaac?
Loved this episode and all the revelations we got.
I loved the backstory we got on Kira's mom during her time in the internment camp. I definitely feel we got more information on the nogitsune.
So if the nogitsune was playing tricks on everyone when Stiles got tested for frontotemporal dementia, does this mean he's not actually sick? I'm pretty sure it does!
Awww at Papa Stilinski telling Allison that he admires her strength and then they hug. That was nice.
And hell yeah at Kira getting more powers! She's so awesome.
Can't wait for Stiles vs. Derek, Papa Stilinski, Allison, and Chris next week! Go and save Stiles, guys!
Not my favorite, but a decent episode none the less. I really liked the actress who played the young mom. Reese was also well done. I really missed Lydia and Issac.
So, I'm thinking that Allison, Stiles and Scott are all possessed by the evil spirit - They were the three that released it in the first place. Stiles is obvious. Allison has been off her games, missing phone calls and texts. While her break down was a good scene, I felt like it was manipulative of Sheriff. Scott couldn't beat an omega - if a dark spirit has been feeding off of him, it would explain it.
I am trying to figure out who dies. I agree with a lot of the comments made on the last promo - that it is Allison. Derek getting shot in the promo was just too obvious - Sheriff and Papa Argent are the only two (we know of) with guns - but I am thinking he gets shot by Allison and the group retaliates. Stiles has such a big fan base, and his death would be kinda obvious as the big bad villain this season (they have let Gerard and Duke live though). And Scott is the main character - the only show that has gotten better after the main character's death was Primeval.
I've been waiting on this episode. Loved Kira's line about trusting her mother. :-D Really pleased to see the Sheriff bringing his skills to the table. I find myself wondering how they're going to be able to bring Stiles back from this. Has Stiles ever been mentioned as an official suspect or do only the "gang" know he's behind all the chaos. I thought for a moment that Daniel Sharman was playing one of the MPs in the flashback. But I was wrong.
I don't think they'll let Stiles die but I'm putting my money on them finding a different solution that doesn't involve turning him into a were. I think the bite talk is a red herring.
I agree. Just because something doesn't happen in the present or doesn't involve the main characters, it doesn't mean it's filler. If we didn't have this episode, nothing would make any sense. And it answered the nematon mistery - because up until now there was nothing tying this season to the previous ones.
IMO, it was pretty good. Besides, they managed to create something interesting and not just "yeah, there's this evil spirit and it's just there, no one really knows why", while at the same time connecting Kira's family to the story.
people calling this episode filler are crazy. It gave us a looooooot of answers, and it tied it to the previous terrible season (3a), by the tree. Fanboys and girls didnt see Derek or other fav characters long enough in this episode so they are gonna cry...I love the camp story.
I kind of figured it would be Isaac. Krystal said in a interview that when her & Sherman split, things became awkward for them on set & their chemistry in scenes were hard to do. I figured sense there's no chemistry there's no need for Isaac character any longer. Again, what is his major role this season? Derek no longer has a pact
ZERO SENSE!!! i like the direction, i like pieces of dialogue, i like the characters, the show makes NO. SENSE.
So the Nogitsune is free and playing around cuz the kids gave power back to the Nemeton? Really? Cuz it sure as hell looked like it had plenty of power, all green, and huge, and pretty, back when Mrs Yokumura burried that cursed fly there all those years ago. I assume she chose it cuz a powerful Nemeton was a. irrelevant, or b. not a problem anyways.
Oh and it was an error of judgment on her part: she was in a tight spot, she was heartbroken, and the corruption resulting in a few dozens of deaths in the camp was the worse she's seen, so she broke down and called a Nogitsune forwards... are you shitting?! wasn't she already like ...over 800 at that point?! this is a woman who was alive during the Inquisition in Europe!!! yeah, ok, maybe she wasn't in Europe at the time but i don't remember the rest of the planet being all peaceful and happy for 800 years. THAT is the worse she's seen? THAT is the toughest spot she's been into?! what did she do during the middle ages when any warlock attacked the village she was currently living in? call forth a leviathan?!
A lot of questions answered - I was especially interested in learning about the origin of the mummified body at Eichen House. I hope Derek appears for more than a few minutes in the next episodes, there have been very few scenes with him in 3b. I am liking that sassy deputy more and more - "This thing is a few watts from being a lightsaber." LOL
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteEh.....felt like filler. Semi interesting on that it ties into the tree.

ReplyDeleteStiles is gonna be bitten. I don't believe they'd let Stiles die.
ReplyDeleteGreat, the flashbacks were a perfect way to answer every question in an entertaining manner, and is Mr. Stilinski just everyone's dad at this point?
ReplyDeleteLoved this episode and all the revelations we got.

Hmmm this episode definitely provided some answers, but I felt like it was more of a lead up to the final three.
ReplyDeleteThe whole Asian history and death camp stuff is/was getting REALLY annoying!
ReplyDeleteLoved the episode.

From the spoilers I've read, it's Isaac who dies. Daniel got himself another role. He's leaving the show.
ReplyDeleteThe actress playing Kira was the one who played her mother in the flashbacks.

ReplyDeletespose that also explains why he's been tucked away in a hospital bed for two eps? He's already working at this other gig.
ReplyDeleteWow, I couldn't tell. Thanks for letting me know.
ReplyDeleteThat also makes a lot of sense and you are probably right. I still feel like they are setting Allison up.
ReplyDeleteLOL what? It basically explained the entire backstory on which the last 10 and next 3 eps are built. How is that filler?
