  1. Wow. That was absolutely amazing! I wonder what Melissa's secret is. What could she have done that Scott would hate her for?

And Scott/Kira are adorable. I love them together so much.

Dylan's acting is amazing. The throwing up of the nogistune was gross. And which one was the real Stiles?

Glad Scott's dad saved Papa Stilinski's job! That was nice of him.

  2. Looks like Stiles has now been split into his light and dark half. I wondered if Jeff Davis was gonna go with something like that actually. This might get interesting...

  6. Best of the season thus far, no doubt. Love how they bring real Stiles back, and then throw us for another loop by still keeping evil stiles. AND he's taken Lydia?! Jeff Davis you kill me!

  7. They need a good but confused button. I'm now at the point of this is crazy supernatural stuff going on & I don't think I like it but I'm hooked. Peter is incredibly smart for his character. He misses like 2-3 episode and still knows more than the rest. I like his chess comment to Derek. Can't wait see the relationship between him and Talia unfold.
I can't believe they all stood there and watched Stiles vomit up a bunch of bandage and then a human take form out of it. If Lydia had ran off I wouldn't have been upset. That was some crazy stuff. Now which one is the real Stiles? And is everyone still being controlled? Why is just the wolves being targeted
Speaking of, I absolutely love seeing Lydia tonight & I love her telling Scott "do I have to remind you that you're a wolf with supernatural strength" I love her & I really hope Lydia character does not die!!!

  8. Loved everything about this episode, well the flies were a little disturbing but still a great episode and I can't wait until next week!

  9. I bet both Stiles are the real Stiles and he needs both halves to exists again, at least the seems to be the common thing when tv characters are split into two people. I still predict that somehow Stiles will "die" in way in the finale but be resurrected or a loophole will bring him back.

  10. I hope what Mama McCall did wasn't to awful because I like her and I don't want to dislike her character. I also really don't want to see her son hate her since they have such a nice mother/son relationship. That is one thing this show does get right is parent and child relationships.

My bet is that Stiles has been torn into halves and neither one is necessarily the real one. He needs both to get back to being human and normal again if they kill the evil one Stiles will die. Of course this is Teen Wolf and he's one of the more popular character so they would in all likely hood find a way to have him "die" in a way but be resurrected again. Look at Buffy she nearly died or did die so many times on BTVS and the writers always found a loophole to explain her surviving. I think the writers will do the same for Stiles and he is one the deaths they are talking about.

On a more shallow note I am surprised they even put Lydia in clothes any more since we are always seconds away from seeing her underwear in every scene. I realize its a teen show (even though I am in my 20's lol) with eye candy and she is a very cute actress but damn wardrobe why even bother dressing her at this point. Just put her in scenes in a shirt and underwear since every shot of her tonight was moments away from her tiny shirt dress thing flipping up. If your going to be involved with the supernatural and constantly running into trouble one would think you would dress slightly warmer and ready to fight. Just saying.

And that vomiting up wrapping scene. eeeww. Props to Dylan and any actor/actresses in horror movies/shows for having to do those kind of stunt scenes. It did indeed look very gross and convincing.

  11. dear god this show is making me crazy! I hate watching it week to week. Dylan has become a phenomenal actor and has proven he can carry this show... I love the direction this show is going.

  12. Great episode! Favourite scene - Peter yelling at Lydia: Mind. Blown.

  13. Melissa is a good person in present, and judging people in reality for a past mistake they grew and moved on from is always a bad idea, so I try not to do it too much with characters either. So no matter what the secret is, I'll still love her.

  14. Really great episode, lots of excellent scenes. I'm kinda sorta wondering if maybe Melissa and the sheriff hooked up once and that Scott is his son but that seems a bit out there, loved that Lydia is a part of the story again, and whoa at the puking scene but shouldn't have Stiles puked up the nogitsune instead of the other way around??? Puking up a spirit is more believable than a possessed you vomiting up the real you but hey this a show about werewolves and there a Japanese Oni so what do I know...

  15. I couldn't help but think that the Nogitsune wasn't telling the literal truth about whatever Stiles overheard. I think that because the scenes with Scott's mom and Dad didn't have a sense of her guilt to them. Add to that the scene where Stilinski told Agent McCall (I can't remember anyone's name tonight) talk to Scott, it felt like every one agrees, even Agent McCall, that he is the one at fault. Not Melissa. Maybe Stiles believe is a matter of a child's perspective when overhearing an adult conversation.

  16. I'm inclined to consider Scott the heart of the group...lol...Stiles is usually the brains and with Stiles out of commission Lydia stepped in. As hokey as I initially found the claw to the neck gag the first time we saw it...I am pleased that they've made use of it for more than one occasion and for more than one purpose. I did expect that we'd see Malia this episode, but as jam packed as it was I'm not sure where it would have fit in. I am looking forward to getting this part of the season on DVD. It will be great to watch these eps back to back (I know they got a 4th season...is it another 24 ep run? It was so nice not having to wait a full year between blocks.)

Loved how they saved Stiles but I was yelling at someone to help Stiles while everyone (including Deaton) was just staring in shock.

And those flies. SHIVER! I can't say that emphatically enough. That was creepy. And all the crazy werewolves.

    Awesome ep

    S4 will have just 12 eps. :)

  18. Oh I totally agree. She is just to kick ass and a loving mother for me to dislike her. Even if the so called secret is a big deal I still think Scott would forgive her. He doesn't seem the type that would boot his mom who raised him out of his life over the past like that unless it was something really awful she did and I really doubt that its as big a deal as they are trying to make it sound on the show.

  19. Sniff. I can't help but looking forward to the end of that 12 ep run and the WHOLE FREAKING YEAR before season 5. :-)

  20. A Few observations:

There was one line near the start that talks about Stiles being the Shell for the Nogitsune. It was oh so important

    A) The Alternate reality for Lydia:

Lots of Balloons. Think about it: What is a Balloon really? Its something that is a shell for something else. It contains and to an extent hides what it inside. We have a view of lockers again ( like we had when Stiles was nightmaring being inside one). The Nogitsune was closing them one by one while advancing on Lydia. Its a double play. Not only is she in a sense trapped in with the Nogitsune, but the Nogitsune is showing that Stiles is trapped inside as well.

    B) The alternate reality for Scott

The Season 1 closet scene with Alison repeat. Now as mentioned above we have had quite a few characters 'trapped' this season. Isaac was essentially trapped in his hospital bed as he wasnt healing properly, Stiles trapped in the the Nogitsune and Echo house. Alison, Scott and Stiles trapped by the decision they made to 'kill' themselves and the repercussion of that choice. The Twins have been trapped by the choices they have made. They killed their old pack members, their new ones either died or moved on and now they are in a sense 'trapped' in Mystic Falls due to a desire to join up with a new pack. (Something even referenced by one of them in this episode!)

Finally we had the large white room scene with the game being played. The Nogitsune's game which made me think that Good Stiles never really had a chance of winning.

I did love how the Nogitsune could adapt on the run. Im still seeing people saying Stiles coughed up Void stiles!... were they even watching? Void Stiles played everyone again by covering and again trapping Stiles in his bandages while escaping with Lydia. That was just A Grade misdirect.

  21. Im not convinced there WILL be a Season 5. Sooner or later they are going to hit a point where their new villain really isnt up to scratch and thats going to A) lose them viewers and B) tarnish the brand somewhat. I think the Show could end after Season 4.

  22. I don't think that depends on something as arbitrary as the number of seasons. It's driven by the quality of the stories. If they've got 9 more awesome stories then tell the stories I'll be there to soak them up.

    ReplyDelete
  23. i was referring to stories not seasons. They pack a lot of story into a season (or their A and B). . They have to keep their actors too who after 4-5 seasons can tend to want to move on to new things.

  24. Just an aside...I don't know about these days but they used to lock series leads in for 5 seasons when they started a new show. In case the show was a hit.
