  1. It was great! The episode explores Emily's psyche in very neat ways.

  2. IT WAS THE BEST EPISODE IN AGES!!!! The exploration of Emily's psyche was exciting and heart breaking. And the Aimily/ Nemily/ Jemily feels. Ugh. Who gave up their souls???? The writers are never this nice.

  3. One of my favorite Revenge episodes ever!! Great job!

  4. -The only good things to come out of Patrick's departure was the shortlived Nolan/Victoria alliance and Victoria listening to the voicemail. I really wish they would have delved more into his character, beyond his undying love for Victoria and the lenghts he would go to to protect her.
    - The conclusion to Emily's black-outs were underwhelming too. They could have certainly done better than a repressed childhood memory.
    - Stevie is lying but the question is about what? The only flashback that had a timestamp was Stevie visiting David in 1997. They were very specific about how long she has been sober by showing us the "19" chip. I'll give the writers the benefit of the doubt and say there is more tothis than a miscalculation.
    - I would be lying if I said I missed Margaux.

  5. I found this episode pretty boring to be honest, it felt like it would never end and I found the reason for the black-outs uninteresting. Did like Jack and Emily talking about Stevie though.

  6. it was boring but at least it hinted that emily will be getting back on track

  7. Stevie really grew on me, but I'm sure something's fishy about her, despite everyone's opinion that she is a genuine person...The question is what? I'm still rooting for her NOT TO BE JACK'S MOTHER. On the one hand it'd be a bit lame to make a 'shocking' twist, taking it back...But really, I do not want it to stick, even though her backstory was nicely done...And I loved her tie to the the essential plot of the show - which is David Clarke being framed. Guess she's sticking around. Good.
I loved the scenes between Nolan & Victoria, those two need to interact more...The second one was actually sweet. They did some bonding tbh, even though he knows she can't be trusted. And the scene in which she envisions Patrick standing in front of her was heartbreaking. Dot.
All the good that was to this episode...Oh, and Jack's & Emily's talk on the porch...But tbh -- it was a filler, don't tell me it wasn't.

And I like the set up for Pascal's appearance, really...I can't wait to dig into what's Conrad got planned. Colour me intrigued.

About the miscalculation? Good catch! Hopefully it was done on purpose and only confirms my suspicions that something rings untrue.

  8. Idk if it was my slow internet connection that kept breaking up and other projects that occupied me...But I watched this episode in like...5 chunks? And those weren't even the 'acts'...Guess you've got a point about not being able to sit through it...And actually...the last chunk was ca. 15 minutes, which was bearable and exciting, things picked up a bit.

Btw I like the way they're setting up Danny to delve into her whereabouts, though that is not the best solution, it has been sooo done before. And they're not even in love...But yeah, good grounds for divorce, I guess.

ALSO WHEN IS CHARLOTTE GONNA ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT EMILY'S POST-COMA EPIPHANY?! Ugh. This show. SHE'S NOT AS CLUELESS AS THEY LEAD US TO BELIEVE, yet she's holding back....I don't buy it. She's a Grayson, she should know better.

  9. yeah it did pick up at the end but before that was a real struggle for me.

I hate how they use Charlotte, she could be so much more and I thought she might be after Declan died and when she pretended to be responsible for Conrad's accident but nope back to her just being there and bringing nothing to the story.

  10. It pains me to say this, but the show is getting scattered again and losing its way. What made the first half of Season 3 great was how they re-calibrated the show to focus on the revengenda again, instead of irrelevant plots like the Initiative crap, Padma, the Ryan brothers, Emily's foster brother, Charlotte's pregnancy and all that. But now...

I don't care about the stupid Grayson Manor (seriously, because it's not bad enough to have catty women tearing each other's hair out over men, now it's over a freaking house?).
I don't care about Patrick's issues. And frankly, the way he was written out makes me wonder what the point of the character (and Nolan/Patrick) was. Enjoyed the Nolan/Victoria alliance and the scene where Victoria imagines Patrick though, but seriously, imagine if Patrick finds out that Stefano was paid off to hire him... he'll lose confidence in his talent and all will have been for naught.
I don't care about Jack and his long lost mommy, even though Gail O'Grady and Nick Wechsler did a nice job with their scenes.
I don't care about whatever Conrad wants to do with Voulez - seriously, what does that have to do with ANYTHING?
I should care about Daniel and his private investigator but they're not exactly giving me a lot to go on right now.

So really, the only good and RELEVANT storyline in this episode was the insight into Emily's psyche and why she acted the way she did during the black-outs, although I think it could've been developed more. But still, Aiden kidnaps and tortures his girlfriend and I'm supposed to swoon when they kiss afterwards, WTF? I know he was doing it to help her but I have very low tolerance for this kind of crap, especially since women being head over heels for men who act abusively towards them is so common on TV. I used to be in the much-maligned Aiden's corner, but honestly, he can get hit by a bus now for all I care. He didn't even TRY to have a reasonable conversation with Ems (he walked out on her last episode) before kidnapping and waterboarding the woman.

^ YES times infinity!!! Have they simply forgotten about that? There's no way Charlotte is stupid enough to disregard Emily's little slip of the tongue. She knows there's something fishy about Emily. Instead of all the boring-ass, irrelevant crap like Victoria and Stevie fighting it out over the Grayson manor, Patrick's existential crisis, Conrad doing whatever with Voulez and such, they should pull the trigger of Charlotte discovering her sister's identity already.

  12. They're blatantly using Charlotte as nothing more than a plot device. I mean, agreeing to spy on Conrad for Daniel? How many times has she flip-flopped in her loyalties already? I can't keep track of whether she's on Conrad's side or not, it seems to change all the time. She's like Daniel in Season 1, siding with whichever family member the plot requires her to in every given episode.
