Pretty good Logan's Run homage. I love how a simple idea can send everyone at Greendale, students and teachers, into full commitment mode. It was similar but different enough from other big Greendale events that it was fresh. Also glad Shirley finally had a story.
Glad to see Shirley having a major role. And Security Guard was hilarious. Abed was back to being likable again, rather than being basically the villain of the season. Not a fan of how Annie as a character and Jeff/Annie was marginalized. Especially when they made a Jeff/Britta reference, when those two are long over.
community is at it best when they do high concept episodes like this. Greendale just gets so involved in anything that happens (ie: this, the blanket fort, the pillow fight, paintball, the lava game, etc) and lets it totally take them over. It was an entertaining half hour for sure
It was so far the classic ep. of this season. Allusions were spot on. That stand-up Jeff performed, oh, [bleep].
MeowMeowBeenz takes everything subjective and unspoken about human interaction and reduces it to explicit, objective numbers. I've never felt more alive.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteI give it five MeowMeowBeenz!
ReplyDeleteJeff has never been funnier and Britta has never been sexier.
ReplyDeleteAlso it's hilarious how the whole civilization always collapses within days.

ReplyDeleteIt was good. I'm kinda sick of Greendale getting overly involved in stuff like this. They need to stop that.
ReplyDeleteSee, the rating system
ReplyDeleteis exponentially weighted.

As long as you're happy,
I'm unsettled.
Keep it floppy. Haul it, ball it, never call it. Girls are objects.
