    I know I might be alone in this but as a fan of The Mentalist I kind of think its time for it wrap up with a good ending. If Lisbon is leaving for another job and won't be there along with Rigsby/Van Pelt who are supposedly leaving mid to late this season I don't know if I really want the show to continue. We concluded the Red John story and now its time to solve this last major mystery of who is killing CBI employees then let the show have a nice ending.

    You're not alone. I've been a fan since the beginning, and I think it's time to end it (for the same reasons you mention). Six years is a good run.

    Changing the show has revitalized it and I think we will get a suckier ending if it is canceled with 2 episodes to film. They should make a final 7 or a shortened. Cbs is not having much success with new shows anyway.

    Okay speculation is Lisbon wants to be with Pike and to leave her job for him or join him. I thought it was a stunt but if it is true backing a precedent for Lisbon leaving her job for men she knows.
