  1. How did they not realize there was a ghost in the bunker before? But yay! And no, poor Cas.

  2. The Originals - Rebekah had a job!? That might be the first instance in either show (TVD or Orig.) that any series-regular vampire has held down a job.
Arrow - Damn, there's a lot going on here. "Lone wolf" Felicity should have learned her lesson from her Count Vertigo incident. Also, I don't know what Quentin is thinking with the dinner idea but I thank him for the glorious disaster it will be to watch.
The Vampire Diaries - I am already fed up with Damon's spiraling. Enough already. It has been four and a half seasons. The writers need to stop sabotaging what little progress they've made with the character. Boo to Enzo still being around. Ditto for Maxfield.

Excited for Star Crossed! Bummer it's paired with BATB tho, don't think it will do as well as it could if it was paired with a better performing show.

  4. The reign synopsis sounds awesome, "Clarissa kidnaps the younger children of King Henry?" didn't see that coming.

  5. The Originals: The sanitorium must have been used in 1919 to house people suffering from influenza. Maybe that's why Rebekah worked there. It wasn't like she could get sick. It's obvious from the promo that Marcel will give Elijah a hard time. If Marcel does give away his secret in the end, Klaus will only concentrate on Rebekah when they get sprung. It would be in character for Marcel to save himself and leave Rebekah in the lurch with her brother. Elijah probably won't be surprised with Marcel, but it will be interesting to see how he reacts to the news that summoning MIkael was Rebekah's idea, considering the reason she did it. That in itself can tear the family apart.

The Vampire Diaries: I don't understand why they're still calling Katherine "Elena." Nadia is seriously annoying me now. The term "heart-to-heart" tells me that Nadia will explain her situation to Matt, and he might convince her to help put Elena in someone else's body, possibly Caroline's, for the time being. Recall that Nadia just wanted more time with her mother. She wanted to leave town, not help steal Elena's life. The "horrifying realization" could be that the "dejected Caroline" is sharing a body with Elena.

  6. Yeah, I think the description should say Katherine instead of Elena at this point. I understood why the did it before because they didn't want to give it away ahead of time - but since we all know it's Katherine (not Elena) I don't get it.

I'm not looking forward to Matt/Tyler/Caroline scenes. That just seems like it'd be so awkward - I know Matt & Caroline are on okay terms now (but it took a while after they broke up) but her and Tyler aren't and honestly they shouldn't even go back to being friends IMO.

  7. Stefan told Elena back in Season 1 that he'd dabbled in various things over the years. I assumed that meant he had various jobs - we know he went to work as an ambulance driver during WWII.

  8. Rebekah had a JOB?! WTF?! Lies. I say. LIES! lol That really doesn't even make sense... wuuuut? Just WUUUUUT? Omg, I'm gonna laugh myself silly with that before bed tonight to erase the mental scaring of Caroline shredding her pretty pony picture. :(
I guess Tyler is once again nasty to Caroline and she goes to Stefan for comfort and the two of them put the pieces together that "Elena" isn't "Elena" anymore.

  9. oh please, i am sure rebekah only took that job to get close to genevieve so she can find mikael.
so far she hasn't done anything remotely decent or human with her 1000 years, and it won't change. but she sure as hell likes to whine about deserving more from life.

  10. TVD i am so over travellers. and looks like stefan and caroline will find out the terrifying truth about elena. finally!
TO - marcel will protect his skin as always. I don't think he will tell about the connection to genevieve. elijah will probably notice his shady behaviour and shakes the truth out.
SN bart the fart better keep his hands away from cas. Why are all super powerful angels are jerks? Why can't at least one of them to be nice?

  11. I think Matt, Tyler, and Caroline will all know what's going on with Elena at some point and try to do something to help her while Stefan and Katherine are out of town. I'm sure that's what leads to the "violent confrontation." Whatever they try to do to "protect Elena" probably won't work for some unforeseen reason. Nadia was unhappy when Katherine killed the traveler and said that she wanted to stay in town and chase Stefan. Now Nadia is drinking all the time and just wants to take off, but Katherine is using her. I can see a possible loose alliance forming between Matt and Nadia, and Caroline might try to help for Elena's sake, but Tyler could be a problem. Elena always said she hated hybrids. If the attempt to protect Elena fails, Caroline will need to be comforted and I'm sure the "horrifying realization" will be some sort of shocking cliffhanger. One possibility is that Caroline will tell Stefan what Katherine did, and he will tell her that he already figured it out. That would be horrifying.

  12. I much prefer bad Damon to the whiny Elena whipped puppy. Now THAT is getting old.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Really bamboozled by that part of The Originals as well.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I think I sense a new pattern in SPN. We had "sth is wrong with Sam" and now there is "Cas gets captured" :P

    ReplyDelete
  15. Interesting, while all other CW shows are taking a break due to Olympics, we are not & in fact BATB does a rerun the week all the other shows are returning with new episodes? Please please help me to understand. CW/Mark Pedowitz, please just give us a straight answer on the future of our show! SMH no sense at all

    ReplyDelete
  16. Well thats because Sam and Cas tend to share plot device status during a season, first half was Sam and now its Cas. Next season I'd like for Sam to be the main POV and Dean the plot device.

    ReplyDelete
  17. It might be a mis-print. I don't think there should be any ReRuns....Not when they have like 3 eps left until the semi-season finale.... :/ IT SHOULD BE A FALSE PRINT!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Ugh...I found out it wasn't a misprint.... Why rerun?? (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻ They should just play 17 new episodes of #BATB instead of rerunning.... THAT IS THE DUMBEST THING I'VE HEARD! DX (Sorry for venting, but I'm sure you agree with me)

    ReplyDelete
  19. #BATB always just one big story #batb

I think you made a mistake on BATB. Next week is Till Death on 2/10/14.

  21. I don't prefer either. They're both awful. The writers need to stop hinging whether or not Damon is a psycho based on how well things are going with Elena. After four and a half seasons it's time the character show some real growth instead of the temporary, always sabotaged, mirage-like growth the writers hand him. Good or bad, I'd like Damon to decide once-and-for-all who he's going to be for himself, independent of Elena.

  22. Poor Felicity :(! And Laurel will throw a hissy fit as usual, lol. She can kiss my ass already, no one stands her.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Yes Rebekah got a "job" , get over it! I think it's part of the greater plan to summon Mikahel to town. The red head probably worked at the hospital and bekah tried to get close to her.

    ReplyDelete
  24. That was a new pattern about four seasons ago.

    ReplyDelete
  25. The nice ones tend to get killed, sadly. I wish one or two would survive.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Depends on whether it was there before. I know some think it might be Kevin.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Ooh, good theory.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Poor Felicity!! Egh, I've had enough or Laurel - and Sara and Ollie, no, just no!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Bad news for Batb, but then again, we all knew it's going to happen... Thank you Kern for that. I can't wait to Supernatural and I'm really looking forward to Star Crossed, i can't really tell why but it seems interesting.

  30. These are not next week's listings.

  31. I think that was Cas screws up;)

  32. ARROW:
i really don't like laurel, but i can totally understand why she loses her temper on them.! and i'm totally ok whit it. i mean, sure if oliver and sarah want to be together they can to this. but show it in front of laurel even both know that she's not that happy to see sarah (in the moment) and that she's still mad at her for sleeping with oliver...is really thoughtless of them. (at least that's my opinion)

    ReplyDelete
  33. Agreed it does sound awesome. Can't wait for the next episode of Reign!!!!

  34. Beauty and the Beast show is incredible for many reasons - great plot, great actors, but most of all it's about a devoted, true love and this is precious! Please give this show the chance to develop its full potential with many seasons in the future! #BATB

  35. Yeah, it's really upsetting that Felicity, supposedly a highly intelligent person, insists on running into a brick wall like this. I get why she would feel frustrated and left out, but she KNOWS she doesn't have field training and can't head out on dangerous missions all by herself. And as you said, having run into The Count should have made that clear to her. Why does she insist on acting like this? Sigh.
I also agree about Quentin, that is an utterly ridiculous idea.

    ReplyDelete
  36. "Oliver throws Sara a welcome home party, but Laurel (Katie Cassidy) refuses to attend. After Lance (Paul Blackthrone) makes his case for a family dinner, Laurel acquiesces, but when Oliver shows up with Sara, she loses her temper on both of them." - the Arrow writers are REALLY feeding the Laurel hate on purpose, right? I just can't think of any other explanation for why they're having her treat everyone around her so obnoxiously. All. The. Time. And no, I don't care what she's been through. Television is full of characters with horrible traumatic pasts (and presents), whose significant others cheat on them, whose family/friends/lovers die, who have near-death experiences, who get fired from their job or even disbarred from their profession altogether... and most of them do NOT act like this. Laurel chooses to deal with her problems through making other people scapegoats for them (Tommy died because of the Arrow, her life was ruined because of Sara...), constantly bitching and snarking at everyone around her - including when they try to help and support her, and being unbelievably self-centered. So I'm not going to feel sorry for her.

    ReplyDelete
  37. People with a chip of their shoulder will often do things that are ill-advised in an attempt to prove themselves but that doesn't mean that Felicity's actions aren't still disappointing. As for Quentin, I think he's grasping at straws to make peace and get his family back to the way it was. Unfortunately, Laurel is too much of a mess right now for there to be any hope of this working.

    ReplyDelete
  38. What isn't clear from the synopsis is who invites Oliver to the dinner: Quentin or Sara. Whichever of them does it needs a good smack on the head. If there's ONE person who can make the Lance family situation even worse, more awkward and more painful through his presence, it's Oliver. An ordinary family dinner, while not the best idea, I could understand, but inviting Oliver along? This makes Moira running for Mayor look like a reasonable decision by comparison.

    ReplyDelete
  39. It says "Oliver shows up with Sarah" so I'm inferring that it was likely Sarah's doing. Either that or someone's getting ambushed and they don't know there's a dinner.
