    I'm going to keep my comments short this time because having an opinion that's not "[inset character name here] is so perfect and anyone who hates [him/her] is stupid." is kind of exhausting.

    I can't WAIT to see how the Damon fans explain away his absolutely terrible behavior this episode. It's going to be the stuff of legends! I swear, in less than a day his fans will be absolutely convinced that he had every right to start murdering people, and it was in fact the victims fault. I was on tumblr, they're already doing it!

    And Katherine acknowleding that Caroline has feelings for Stefan and she's a threat is awesome. As a Steroline shipper that makes me happy.

    As for the fans themselves? So many people are like "That's it, I'm not watching it anymore. Screw Julie!" I bet those same people will be back during the next episode to complain some more. Please do, it's funny to watch people rage like idiots and then not go through with their claims.

    Overall, this episode happened like I thought it would. Damon became a complete and utter asshole. I found it really odd that after the previous episode, his fans were still expecting Damon to be a good guy. They flipped their shit when he started to be an asshole again. Oh well.


    I truly hope you ragers who keep threatening to quit watching actually do.

    OK, i HATED this episode!! I don't like anything that's going on. I HATE KATHERINE!!! What she's doing is soooo ughhhhh!!! I don't like what they're doing to Damon. Max needs to Die ALONG with Katherine!! I think the ONLY thing i liked about this episode is the fact that Tyler had Matt's back. Matt figured it out. And that Stefan said he was ok with Damon and Elena being together. When he stopped waiting for her, i was thinking finally that's the moment he got over her. But with Katherine being soooooo, ughhhhh!!! I can't, i hate this storyline. Idt i've ever been sooo mad about a TVD storyline in it's 5 year run, then I am right now. This seriously Tops everything. And for the FIRST TIME EVER, I voted AWFUL!!

    I love this response!!! I like evil Damon cos every show has to have a dick to keep it interesting, just like I love joe Carroll in the following your supposed to love to hate then. No excuse for his behaviour, he's a terrible person but that just keeps things interesting :-)

    This was a great ep. I loved seeing Damon back to his old ways even though I'm torn between liking & not liking Enzo. I think it is good that they add a new twist to the Damon storyline since it's been kinda dull. Finally another witch besides Bonnie. Loved Katherine's face & eye roll when she had to pretend to be upset about Jeremy. I think Katherine is trying way too hard with Stefan, IMO. Sloan was a good twist. I wonder if Nadia knows her. The mother bashing drinking game was a funny scene. I wish they wouldn't drag out the everyone not knowing Elena is really Katherine thing out too long.

    I don't mind Damon being a killer. If he wants to be a murderous sociopath then good for him. My problem is that his fans are STILL going to make him the victim in all of this. If he kills someone, it's never Damon's fault as far as his fans are concerned. It's annoying.

    FYI, I have NEVER said that I would stop watching this show. It's my number one, I don't always like the storylines, but i stick with b/c I love it. As a hardcore Damon fan, i'm disappointed. Very disappointed. Not that i wasn't expecting this, but i sure wasn't expecting him to go and start threatening Jeremy again. Not after the relationship they've had for a long while.

    AND THIS WHOLE THING IS KATHERINE'S FAULT!! Yeah that's right i said it. The ENTIRE group was fine, but here she comes being a total hypocrite, and destroying every relationship possible, just so she can get Stefan back??? You gotta be kidding me?!?! I swear this is the LOWEST she's ever gone. And Nadia is apart of that too. She's also to blame!!


    I'm soooo pisssed that NO ONE can tell it's NOT Elena. Sure she is kinda pulling off Elena, but Elena has never be that forward or DESPERATE!! And i liked the fact that Caroline kinda got a funny feeling. I would have LOVED to see that scene, when she walked in on Stefan and Katherine, but noo they had to cut it. I don't like this at all!!.

    These problems existed before Katherine got involved. What she did was force everyone to stop ignoring the problems. She used those problems like a blunt force weapon and gave everyone a good beatdown.

    No they didn't. Katherine had been here since Season 2. She's been a problem from the sort. Sure none of them are no angels, they've all done some really bad crap. But ONCE Stefan caved and slept with Katherine, THAT was the start of all this. All her years of wanting Elena dead, tortured, hurt, in pain, etc. etc. and then going towards death, to actually jumping in Elena's body, saying this is the best thing that's happened to her is RIDICULOUS! And soo what some one night stand happens, and Stefan telling her he got caught up in the moment, and that's all it was. She still can't take the hint. Now she's messing with everyone's lives all over again. It's time for her to go. And i find it so funny that Tyler and Matt, out of everyone, were the ones to figure out something was off. Ughh, my head hurts.

    Yes these problems existed before Katherine got involved. Katherine had nothing to do with Damon's overdependence on Elena to keep him sane. In the episode before this, Katherine made a pretty good point to Damon about that before he reacted like a coward and turned off his emotions rather than deal with them.

    As for Katherine, she's going for what she wants in all the wrong ways, but I don't see how she's creating problems for him unless you count Steroline, which is kinda moving at a snail's pace anyway. Soon it will come out that Elena has been taken over by Katherine, and Stefan will mostly likely be really hurt about that. But he has Caroline there to help him. She always does.

    And if anything, once Elena comes back she's going to see what Damon did after the breakup. If that doesn't make her see things a lot more clearly, then nothing will and she'll keep dismissing his actions like his fans keep on doing. Katherine didn't CREATE the problems between these characters. They existed without her involvement.

    I used to like this show a lot and would never miss a episode but it has just went downhill this season, I don't even really care if I miss a episode the only reason I watched tonight was because Jeremy was in the episode but of course what did they do they had to try and kill him again and I am getting so tired of them always trying to kill him. Here is a idea why not give a character that has the potential for a awesome storyline more attention instead of killing him every season I mean come on he is a hunter they could do so much with that! The Damon and Elana shit is getting old and the Katherine wanting Stefan shit has been old Katherine just needs to finally get killed off for good!

    What happened to Jeremy being a hunter?


    I hope they're not setting up a Stefan/Katherine/Caroline love triangle. Caroline liked Stefan when they first met but he shot her down in the Pilot and told her it was never going to happen and I thought she had gotten over it back in Season 1 - I don't want to see that revisited.


    Bonnie seeing that girl spin her pen was way too convenient. They should have set that up a few episodes earlier.

    Yeah no. Once Katherine jumped into her body, that was the point. Elena NEVER would have said anything of that matter, after Damon told her what he told her. Elena calls Damon on his crap, she ALWAYS has, and he's called her on hers. When's the last time Damon actually went off the deep end?? Season 2?? When he killed Jessica?? Everything he's done since, has been to be a better man, NOT just for Elena, for Ric, for Liz, For Carol, even Bonnie (sort of). Maybe not in the right way, but it showed tremendously!

    Katherine IS going about what she wants the wrong way. And you can't see how this is creating problems for Damon?? Ok first off all Damon buried her. He was at piece. As long as Katherine was dead, he was finally free. But no it didn't happen that way. "Elena's" little speech, made Damon vulnerable, enter Enzo, his manipulation and new partner in crime. Katherine is also going to wreck Steroline's friendship. B/c Katherine sees Caroline as a threat. So there's another one.

    Then we have Enzo and Damon, hunting down a witch, to find Max and "save their race" or w/e. Which leads to Jeremy's life, once again in the balance. Bonnie being useless and having to track down some girl that doesn't even acknowledge her in their own class. And I STILL can't believe Bonnie didn't think about Katherine not going through her. (rolls eyes).

    When Elena comes back, Stephen will be crushed, b/c he was over Elena, and Katherine messed with his head. Elena's gonna be all, I still love Damon. And despite EVERYTHING Stefan has done, she still didn't give up on him, so i don't see WHY Damon can't have that same opportunity.

    And as far as Matt and Tyler are concerned, with Katherine trying to get down the "Perfect" Elena, she's also risking their lives as well.

    She's messing with everyone, and everyone was good, just so she can screw Stefan...It's all connecting the dots, and this starts with her.

    And she KNEW Damon would go off the deep end, which i believe she purposely did. (of course b/c she's F*cking Katherine) And with that, she just ruined the Brothers bond. Smmfh. A place that took them forever to really get to.

    Say what you will, I'm not excusing Damon's actions, like i said, i'm disappointed in him for threatening Jeremy, but the way i see it, this is all on Katherine. B/c of her obsessive need to be with Stefan. And it's downright disgusting.

    I really hate the TVD writers after this episode. They turned my sexy Damon into a jerk ( no excuses for his behavior ) and now he got that god damn injection and he is going to start killing vampires, I hope he starts with Enzo. I hope Katherine dies and soon. I'm full of hate today so i'm going to stop my comments here.

    I really wish antis would stop going to TO and TVD posts here and demand klaus or damon's fans to explain their behaviour. So far antis are the only ones acting butthurt after every episode. You want explanations go to tumblr, quit provoking fan fights here.
    Great episode for me.
    Elena is going to be so pissed at Damon when she gets back. Lol. Can't wait to see his face when finds out how badly he screwed. She won't get over Jeremy's murder easily.
    Damon got injected just like i called it and wanted. Loved how he admitted it was karma. He knows he has to repent.
    WTH is up with Stefan being all pro delena. they are pushing this angle too far.
    Caroline suddenly giving Stefan and elena sad looks. i guess she thought elena was done with stefan and she could take her turn. the steroline fan in me wants to see kat loose to care so badly.
    Kat lost all her awesomeness and is acting like a lovesick puppy. Oh how the mighty have fallen. At least she has the doppelganger fate as an excuse.

    Caroline, Matt, and Tyler need to watch their backs. B/c they're the only suspicious ones. Well Matt is already a prisoner of Nadia's. Tyler's head is broken, so he won't be able to find Matt. And Caroline, i have no clue.
    I was really mad that no one had their vamp hearing active when Katherine was on the phone. I thought seriously??

    I...don't think we're understanding each other. I'm not excusing Katherine's actions, but I'm also not blaming her for everything.

    Damon's overdependence on Elena keeping him sane existed before Katherine got involved. Katherine only took advantage of what was already there in order to hurt Damon. Let's face it, Elena should NOT be Damon's only reason for not going off the deep end. That's extremely unhealthy. Katherine created this situation from a pre-existing problem. She didn't create the problem, she used it to make an even bigger one. They're not the same thing.

    As for Damon being at peace, he pretty much blamed all of his actions on Katherine. Katherine is not responsible for everything he has ever done. Damon needs to take responsibility for himself, and that's something he absolutely refuses to do. And let's not forget that Katherine has a damn good reason for being so hostile toward Damon. He took a really demented level of pleasure out of tormenting her before she died, because he just couldn't resist making sure she would leave the world as miserable as possible.

    Katherine is doing some pretty horrible stuff, and she set up a bad chain of events, but lets not forget that Damon tormented Katherine because he felt like he could get away with it. Now Katherine is back and she's found a way to hurt Damon in the worst way possible. He tormented her, then she did the same. But suddenly Katherine is the bigger bad guy because she had the better weapon?

    Neither one of them are innocent in this. Katherine just went for Damon's weakest spot and hit him HARD. Even if she knew that Damon would go back, and I agree with you she likely did, that doesn't absolve Damon. He made the choice to cowardly turn off his emotions instead of facing them. Katherine set him up for it, but in the end it was HIS decision. He didn't even hesitate.

    As for Stefan, I'm worried about him no doubt. Once Katherine is revealed it's going to hit him hard. But I don't know...I think Stefan is going to end up surprising us somehow. I'm not sure how, but I don't think it's going to crush him.

    And yes, what Katherine is doing is obsessive. But so far she's the only one who has pursued the man she loves, and to hell with anyone or thing that gets in her way, as far as she is concerned. Despite all of the odds stacked against her success, she's going for it. I admire that.

    Matt was described in the books as sort of a clean-cut, all-American guy. He is a good person, and I can see why vampires who are surrounded by bad people fall for him.


    Jeremy isn't dead. It was close, but Katherine kept banging on his chest looking disgusted until he was revived. Then I was disgusted with the show in general just for that shot.

    Ok I see what you're saying. Yes Elena shouldn't be the only reason. But couldn't u say the same thing about Stefan?? With him and his blood addiction?? She's the one that helped him stay at bay, and when he made his mistakes, she stood by him. Then he made more, and she realized once she became a vampire, he couldn't be with her, b/c she wanted to do all these things he couldn't b/c of his problem...enter Caroline, who I think now is the one who keeps Stefan in check.

    I wouldn't say Damon refuses to take responsibility for any of his actions. We've seen him admit to his wrong doings and even apologize for them a few times, or make up for them in one way or another. Him wanting to make Kat miserable to her dying breath,I don't blame him for that at all!! Are you kidding me?? After all the things Katherine has put him through. She deserved that! Idc what anyone says. What Stefan did was nice and all. But I don't blame Damon for doing or saying what he did while she was on her death bed. And if it wasn't for Liz saying be better than her, Damon would've smothered her with that pillow.

    No Katherine is not the bigger bad b/c she had the better weapon, Katherine is and will always big the bigger bad b/c she's always doing horrible things, and I wouldn't say this is the worst possible thing she's done to Damon, but this one certainly takes the cake.

    As for Stefan, when Katherine is revealed, once he gets over his grief iI wouldn't be surprised if he staked Katherine himself. But honestly i think Elena will do it, b/c she's meant to. (At least that's how it was in the books) and i seriously can't wait til that day comes. I'm surprised they've all let her last this long.

    And that's the problem with Katherine. She'll do w/e it takes to make herself happy. She cares about no one but herself. With the only exception of Stephen, whom she thinks makes her a better woman. And she has a soft spot for Matt. But if she knew Matt knew about her being in Elena's body, there's no doubt in my mind that she would do something horrible to him. No matter what the cost, just as long as she has her "One True Love". Even her daughter, the one person that loves her unconditionally, she treats like shit. You would think after her turning human. They'd be just a little humanity left in there. But I guess not.

    But it's all well and good, just as long as she gets the man she loves right? Oh but this will all blow up in her face, Karma, just like Damon has gotten. After this Stefan will really despise her. He won't be flattered that she jumped through hoops, he'll be outraged, and PROBABLY feel guilty.

    B/c Elena wasn't transferred into Katherine's body. Body just took over her body, mind, spirit. Elena's in a coma that she can't get out of. It's just like when Klaus went into Alaric's body. Or when Klaus took over Tyler's. Or when Esther took over Rebekah's. Until someone figures it out. Elena isn't getting out. B/c unlike Klaus and Esther, Katherine won't under any circumstances, reveal herself.

    Katherine really needs to die..like yesterday.. How is it that no one can tell that it isn't Elena? Stefan and Caroline have spent so much alone time with her, that they should have figured it out by now. Matt, Bonnie and Jeremy really need to go as far as possible from Mysitic Falls. Or at the very least, someone needs to give Bonnie her powers back, Remind Jeremy that he is a hunter and give Matt a brain while they're at it..Also, how many times has some vampire used Jeremy to get Elena or Bonnie to do what they want?


    I guess when Damon became a vampire, his brain brain stopped maturing. I really have zero sympathy for him. Stefan, on the other hand, lost Elena to Damon, yet he's selfless enough to it appreciate that Elena made Damon a better person. I don't care if he's judgemental at times; he has proven over and over again, that he is the better brother. He really deserves better than Elena, Katherine, or any of their yet-to-be unearthed Dopplegangers. Damon, however, deserves someone more in the line of Katherine. Damon craving vampire blood was probably the best twist in the show. Also, I can't wait to see his reaction when he realizes that Katherine was the one who dumped him, not Elena and then his reaction when he realizes that he will never get Elena back after everything that he's done.


    Other wishes: I'd like to see Tyler kick ass for once, instead of constantly getting his ass kicked! Tyler, you're a hybrid, for goodness sake. Act like one, and start biting some vampires! You can start with Katherine and her annoying spawn Nadia.

    Umm, I disagree. Not if they didn't have any control in doing so. I certainly don't blame Caroline for killing that guy at the carnival. She had no control over herself, she didn't even know what was happening to her. Killing isn't just killing in this show. Sometimes it's for self defensive or it's to protect someone, or save them. Or it's kill or be killed. And with Tyler killing that girl to activate his curse, that wasn't his fault. That was Katherine's doing. Tyler killing her was a complete accident OUT OF self defense.

    their answer will always come down to "Katherine".

    But I am glad that they went away from Damon just "turning off his switch", It is also nice that they explained it through Stefan that he is just wanting people to hate as much as he hates himself, this opens it up for a redemption storyline.

    OH and they weren't being subtle about Steroline. Caroline burning her pictures from both Klaus and Tyler saying she ready for the next chapter, and the looks she was giving Stephan and KAlena through out the ep, I was think suspicion or jealousy but the last scene when Caroline walked in and saw Stephan and KAlena was Classic, that small quick disappointment smile, I think sums it up.

    This ep just proved to me why in fact romance Steroline DOESN'T work - the moment any doppelganger shows Stefan any interest, he's going to jump on like a proud little puppy. Caroline doesn't deserve that, not after a lifetime of always being second best to Elena. Hell, NOBODY deserves that crap.

    I don't want it revisted either because this ep and the ones where he slept with Kat pretty much proved that the moment a doppelganger smiles at Stefan, he'd jump on it. So if say, Elena, herself were to sometime in the future when she gets her body back start to wander towards Stelena ville again... BAM! Caroline, DUMPED. No one deserves that.

    I couldn't agree more with what you said about Stefan and Damon. Stefan is just such a good person, and he deserves so much better. Like, the old Elena or Caroline. I don't get why people have so much sympathy for Damon? If he only wants to be good so that he can be with Elena, then he's definitely not a good person, and he shouldn't be treated as one. One should always strive to be good, for themselves and for the people around them. Not just for a person you're trying to get with. Why do people still love him and Elena together, can someone tell me that?

    When Stefan figures out what happened and the dust settles, he might take it upon himself to try to change Katherine. He won't want to be with her romantically, but he's the type to want to help her. He blames Klaus for her behavior, but I don't see how that's justified considering how Elena didn't change after everything the Originals did to her. I think Katherine deliberately provoked Klaus over the centuries after he killed her family. I can't see why he would hunt her for so long just for running away from him. I'm sure the guy had better things to do. I'm curious about how many times Katherine kept running back to Elijah and manipulating him. That so-called "connection" could have set Klaus off. We know how he treats Elijah's crazy girlfriends.

    I'm going to rewatch this episode later. The sudden appearance of a small army of well-dressed travelers seemed unusual. I think they were there for a reason. I'm very curious about Sloan's sudden appearance and her anger over Aaron's murder.

    I can't make up my mind about Enzo. One moment i want him dead next he makes he feel so much pity for him. I don't know..last episode he was like a lost and hurt puppy. When Stefan threatened him and he said there is not much that can't be done to him i felt bad and iactually believed him. I mean if you really look at Enzo he is not so bad a friend to Damon, surely he pulls him into darkness, but Damon killed a lot of people on the road all by himself. Now he just has enzo to keep him company. I really liked how Enzo voluntereed to take Damon's place in the first episode we saw him.
    For a guy who has been tortured for 70 or whatever years he is holding himself rather well, and he is only going after people who are indiretly related to the augustines, Jeremy was killed because they refused to cooperate. And while i really liked aaron if i was on Enzo's place i would hunt down and kill the descendents of Whitmore too.
    Sorry for the rant, i wanted him dead before total eclipse of the heart but now i am just feeling sorry for him. I know i am totally bipolar.
    Caroline's ass will probably get kicked by Kat. Even Elena kicked her ass, becuase he trained more. Kat had 500 years of training and right now has the same body as Elena did so...care bear better not get into an open confrontation with her)) I think that's how Kat wil lgive herself out. She will act all seductive with Stefan and then will mercilessly respond to caroline, and it will seem strange because last time he whooped her ass she had her emotions off. This time they will ask themselves: Why is she so cold with her best friend? and will come to a revelation.
    Nadia just needs to drain Matt again and problem solved.

    Oh i think Elena will get over it, but she will be angry for like 3-4 episodes at least. Last time they didn't have sex, now they are sort of a couple so of course she will expect him to at least not to kill her brother every time they hit bumps.
    But everybody else won't get over it. Jeremy and Bonnie will probably put an ultimatum.

    I am no longer sure that Stefan will run to Elena or that she will run to him even when she finds out that Damon killed jeremy again.
    I used to think reunion was inevitable but now i am not so sure. KAt threw herself at Stefan but the looks on his face were purely friend like, he now looks at Elena the way he used to look at Caroline and vice versa.
    Stefan really digs the new and improved Damon the way he is when he is with Elena. Maybe he digs him enough to find himself another girlfriend. And the fact that Steroline is a slow burn makes it possible they carry all the way into series finale. Why else would Julie burn the bridges having Care shred tyler photo and Klaus painting? She knows next man she puts Care with has to be something special. So only Stefan. I can't imagine her trying to throw Care another guest star. Fans won't like guest star romance, but klaroliners may forgive Stefan because Steroline has the potential to be awesome. Stefan is the only male on the show that won't get completely lynched by klaroliners for daring so much as touch the precious half of the klaroline ship.
    I can imagine Delena struggling to make it work till finale and Stefan showing character growth by being over elena completely and loving caroline.

    After the 100th episode, I'll admit I quit. Anyone that didn't see Katherine taking over Elena's body coming is silly. This show is going downhill fast. The writers seem to be against the fact that Damon/Elena has the biggest and strongest fan base. Also, closing the door on Klaus and Caroline was a big mistake. Love him or hate him, Klaus is a compelling character portrayed by a fantastic actor.


    Stefan has had ZERO character growth. He has been sulky, broody, and self-loathing from the beginning and I can't stand it. This show needs a massive overhaul which should include the exit of Bonnie (her story is done), the reduction of Stefan, and some decent material for Matt.

    I was really ticked the last season, where they spent the whole time searching an island, killing Jeremy and Bonnie, introducing and killing up a bunch of useless supporting characters and killing an entire line of vampires, to give the cure to Elena who never wanted to be a vampire and instead gave it to the 'enemy', Katherine.


    Cue next season. Instead of logically, killing the person who murdered the protagonist's brother and was basically the reason everyone is so miserable in the first place, they let her peacefully coexist in their same friggin household. Season 5 has too many plot holes. Way too many!


    What happened with Bonnie's corpse! The last time I remember seeing her was in the cave, then poof she's back?


    Jeremy, the hunter, who never uses his hunter abilities?


    Why hasn't Bonnie seen Katherine/Elena when it was clearly established she would see her before she dies?


    Why in the WORLD would they leave Elena alone with Katherine. I mean whose idea was that?


    Why are any of the brothers even trying to be with Elena anymore?


    How did absolutely no one realize Bonnie was dead! Especially after her dad was killed?


    How did they not realize Jeremy magically return, after holding a wake and memorial and all that stuff?


    Does no one in Mystic falls realize they don't have parents? Isn't that something social services would pick up. I mean Bonnie, Matt, Elena, Jeremy, Damon, and Stefan?!?!?!?! I know most of them are in college, but even before, it would be worth a check up or two?

    I was disappointed with Damon as well. The Jeremy incident was no good. Katherine is so evil and has NO REMORSE for anything. She does not care about anyone but herself. The writing has shown me that I now see nothing redeemable about her at all. A vampire emotions are heightened after transformation, well Katherine must have a real manipulative bitch to her family while in human form and became one more so afterwards. Because she is selfish selfish selfish. I do not see how she can continue to cause pain to others. I have a feeling that Stefan will be the one to stab her with the knife that Matt has.

    I think Elena may be more forgiving to Damon. When her humanity switch was turned off she wanted to kill but her friends kept her in check. So she will understand how Damon turned off his humanity switch to deal with Elena's break-up.

    Now is that i realised that Stefan is like an Elijah version himself he is capable of forgive his brother no matter how many times his brotehr screwed up things and that`s a good quality i like that...

    Enzo I didn't mind in the beginning. Now I'm over him. I think his arc won't be really long. Enzo killed Jeremy,SoooI feel he should get punished for that. As for Damon, idek what to say about him anymore. I thinkI said enough last night, so moving on..

    As for Caroline and Elena fighting, and Elena nearly killed her, Elena's emotions were off which made her more fierce. And i believe Caroline was holding back, i really do. We've seen the difference when Caroline really goes for the kill, and she wasn't going to do that with her bff. TBH i think a fight between Caroline and Katherine has been a long wait coming. Sure they made a good team against Max. But with all their history, Caroline never really got revenge on Katherine for Killing her. So that's a fight i'm waiting to see. And i won't worry about Car b/c i think Stefan will have her back. And for the love of god!! Caroline needs to go on that trip with them, follow them, do something!!! Stop all this chaos.

    Nadia needs to leave Matt alone!! This is where i wish Rebekah could crossover and kick Nadia's ass!!

    Maybe, but how many redemptive story lines can one character have? I mean, it was cool the first time, and also the second time, but if he's going to go on a killing spree every time a girl rejects him, then the so-called redemptive arc is just Damon getting his own way. I actually liked Damon with Elena, but his character has reached the point of no return, IMO. If the writers decide to make him the good guy yet again, it won't make sense.

    I can't stand Katherine, but in all fairness, she did spend half a century running away from both klaus and Elijah and she did everything in her power to stay out of their radar. She was absolutely terrified when she finally ran into elijah in one of the earlier seasons (when he compelled her to stay in that cave). Klaus is a psychopath and he holds grudges for centuries. Other than tormenting everyone around him, I doubt he had anything better to do.

    I have a theory that the knife that Gregor (Posessed Matt) had would be the key to releasing Katherine from Elena's body. Gregor, Nadia's lover, posessed Matt to get close to Katherine. But then Katherine found out that Gregor wanted to kill Katherine. So Katherine stabbed Gregor to expel the "passenger" inside Matt ...


    But that would mean killing Katherine in the process ...

    It showed Stefan trying to use his brain but ultimately losing, he'd go back to Elena the moment she wanted him. Not just Elena, but any doppelganger since he was all up on Katherine a few eps before. It's pathetic. No woman in Stefan's life deserves that. Especially Caroline who's already spent a good chunk of her human life being second choice to Elena.

    I'm not worried about the picture. It just parallels her with Klaus even more when he burned his pics of her to try and get her out of his head in S3 and he failed, so will she. :p

    Doppelganger blood is suppose to be magical, especially since Esther used Tatia's to create vampirism and just a few drops created Alaric and bound the originals together. So maybe they want him to use science to find what that special ingredient is and experiment on it, make more of it, improve it make it stronger, that kind of thing.

    I just rewatched this episode, and I noticed the part where Sloan mentioned that she wanted Wes to analyze some blood for her. I just don't understand where she's getting her money from, or why travelers would go to Augustine about doppelganger blood (if that's what she was referring to) when they could use magic to analyze it themselves. Markos could be somewhere behind it, I suppose, but it doesn't make sense for a possible cult leader to turn to science. Maybe Sloan just wants to give Wes something to do to keep him from getting himself killed, to give him a new direction. If it is the same blood that was in the buckets, new research could be conducted based on what Grayson Gilbert did. Doppelganger vampire blood is significantly more powerful than ordinary vampire blood, and extremely rare. Wes might not have considered what could be done with that, if anything, to save human lives. Maybe I'm reaching, but I can't think of any other reason for supernaturals who keep to themselves to turn to a mad scientist.

    Damon is shitty. I like him when he's just this comic relief, as anything else he's just not interesting anymore, but the new twist is really refreshing. I hope they won't just solve it and make everything "normal" again. Make him deal with it.

    Nothing else is interesting. I just hope they'll keep Elena away for as long as possible and continue making Kathrine the queen of the show.
