I'm confused. So did this whole episode (except the end) just happen inside Spencer's head? So...nothing shown is real. And the plot progression is basically just that last scene?
I quite enjoyed this episode and I love B&W movies, so I was easily able to watch and understand the lingo. I found Toby to be the best part, Keegan Allen acted fantasticly for the the 40's era and he suits it so well.
The fact that it didnt really happen made it much worse than it really was. Apart from the beautiful scenes, costumes and set it felt really off, especially with most of the actors not feeling the noir at all
Almost the whole episode was in Spencer's head. So basically it is not even counted. What a waste of episode ! We wait one whole week for episodes to release and this is what they have got to show us, Looking forward to next week's episode though. Hope it is not a disappointment as this one was :@
Yep! Maybe Marlene King was feeling too lazy to write a good episode. But we all know that happens frequently. Except with this episode, it was completely obvious the writers' laziness. Such.A.Waste.Of.Time - and money, for that matter.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeletePLL...is...gonna...be...epic...next...week...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI think the whole episode was just a dream, but that dream made Spencer think and then she made the plot progress at the end. Next week looks insane!
ReplyDeleteGiven that every episode lacks any plot progression, i'd say thats about right.

ReplyDeleteI think Troian, Sasha and Ian did it the best.
ReplyDeleteKeegan, Lucy and Shay were good/okay.
Ashley and Janel sucked.
Great, I usually don't enjoy shows that use Noir themes, and fail, but this just naturally fit into what the show was doing
ReplyDeletePretty much a whole lot of crap.
