Great episode, loved final scene! I wonder if it is not late now, Castle writers delay these caskett scenes too much. Also I don't understand why ABC let this show be on against Olympics, weird.
loved it and how Castle was off on his wild theories just like in the early seasons...the cotw was pretty interesting but they cut and glossed over a few things a little too quickly like seeing the professor levitating and then not really mentioning that when they came back from the commercial, and the cafeteria "event" was a bit too elaborate looking to be just "fishing line and magnets"... and of course they left that as a tease at the end about the sfx guy... but I liked the prom scene and how they arrived at "their song"....
I think the episode was excellent. I love how they touch on little aspects of the wedding one by one per week; it's cute IMHO. I really enjoyed the end scene when "In My Veins" was playing. Perfect song for Castle and Beckett's wedding. I really like how their relationship has strengthened over the season as I wasn't sure there for a while, but I think things are right on track and where they need to be. Excellent job. (I know there was a review on this episode and frankly Alexis hasn't been in it and I don't miss her at this point and time as I assume Molly is in school and Captain Gates has been absent too. All comes down to editing IMHO).
I liked the use of that song too. The show had used that song already once a couple of season ago. I remember cuz I heard the song on the show and downloaded the song later, and now it's one of my favorite songs. So I thought why were they reusing a song...turns out that's their song.
I wish they didn't try to convert the show to a sci fi. They did that with the time travel and episode and now this. That last thing where she says they never found anything to explain the effects...thought it was unnecessary. Apart from that, really good episode.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I know it was all described as special effects but I think Castle's been stepping a little too much into science fiction lately.
ReplyDeleteI seriously loved this episode. It had all elements, that we have come to love about this couple. Caskett rules
ReplyDeleteGood episode! I loved the intereaction between Castle and his old principal!

ReplyDeleteProbably same reason why BATB.Intelligence's.The Following.Almost Human.Justified. airs during Olympics.
ReplyDeleteI think Nathan Fillion is trying to bring back some Firefly days :)
