  2. Antonio is gone. I really liked him. It was so sad.

There was so much in this ep. We got to see wolves and fighting. Sad ep, but still a really good one.

  4. Great episode but I'm super annoyed about Antonio.. even more so now Logan is basically dead weight, can't decide which storyline I hate more, Philip or Logan.

If Clay and Elena don't at least kiss in the next episode I might scream, I don't think I have ever 'shipped' a couple this bad before. I can't wait for Tuesday for the sneak peaks and promos for episode 8.

  5. I agree with you on all fronts. I am pretty sure Logan is trying to do the right thing by staying with his girlfriend but at this point I don't know if that will do more harm then good. I mean the mutts have already shown that they would attach innocent people what is to prevent them from dragging Logan into this fight whether or not he wants to be in it. And now that she is pregnant she becomes a pretty good target down the road.

And I really am going to miss Antonio. The rest of the season should be really good.

  6. I think we'll get a big payoff with Clay and Elena, but not for awhile.

I'm still upset about Antonio, too. And this ep made me hate Logan. Seriously, he seemed just too lazy to go back and help out, more so, than just protecting his girlfriend. And Philip is a total buzzkill. His scenes are boring.

Can't wait for next week, too.

  7. I liked this episode, but there's a lot of things I wish would improve in this show!

Mainly how unorganized the pack are. They're kind of "unprofessional" wolves...
1 - There should be a doctor in the pack (or a human doctor helping them).
2 - Their pack seems really weak. What about more wolves?
3 - Planning ahead! In a situation where they're being killed one by one, they really should plan for sneaky ambushes (and expect it). And what about wearing weapons?

Although I generally like this show, stuff like this annoys me. But other than that, this is the best episode yet! So voted great...

By the way: Am I the only one thinking Jeremy and the cop have something brewing? They're kind of cute :-)

  8. It was like that in the book. Their pack was insanely small, and definitely unprofessional. And the whole not going to the hospital or having a real doc drove me nuts in the book, as well. And Jeremy seems too weak to really be an alpha. Teen Wolf would stomp all over this show. But, for what it is, if we overlook the insanity, it's a fun show. And maybe if we get a season two they will add more.

  9. LOL! Teen Wolf would kick their ass :-) But the show is entertaining, so I'll keep watching.

  10. the problem is the book was essentially a romance with werewolves thrown in and the author lacked the chops or will to think strategically or give a crap. also, why /is/ Logan still around? in the book he was not only the first killed but essentially a non character and in this they are trying to make him one, out on no prior material, and that is why he is boring. can't believe they switched out killing Antonio instead of Logan good grief, also if they wanted to change things, which i don't care, i would have rather kept Pete then Logan. at least Pete was a fun semi flushed out character who was endearing and i would have liked to seen more of. the blandness of some of the remaining people is getting tedious to watch. there is being soft spoken and strong and then there is being wallpaper paste, i.e Jeremy.

  11. I may have been the only person who didn't like this episode. I couldn't connect to it at all. I didn't even care for the person who died. I felt like there was something missing.

  12. will it be renewed? loving it

  13. I think you can deduce that the pack used to hold a lot of power (both over the mutts and the other packs), but then became complacent and disorganized: Elena distanced herself from the pack; Peter and Logan had their own lives outside of Stonehaven; Clayton became more ruthless; while Jeremy took their status for granted... which gave the mutts the opportunity to strike.

At least, that's what I think - maybe there's another plot point/explanation that will be revealed in the upcoming episodes.

  14. These are my same problems with the show. I loved Antonio. I can't stand Logan. And Jeremy is a crappy alpha. That creep Cain would actually make a better alpha than Jeremy at this point. I love Nick, but they don't let him do anything. I really hope we get a second season and they change some things.

  15. wow, only 7 episodes and my two characters are dead and the third one is hurt pretty badly? Seriously? I mean, I love this show, but please don't kill anyone else from the pack. I think they've suffered enough... and the thing with Logan? Who was like "oh, Elena, you should come back home, the pack needs you" and then he bails on them? I really like him, but he was kind of a jerk this episode. Jeremy tells him Antonio is dead and that they need him and he will do nothing?

  16. It also makes the pack seem like a bunch of oppressive bullies (on paper, at least) and the mutts seem like the underdogs (no pun intended). A group of mutts wanting to be independent of the pack sounds like a reasonable cause, except for the fact that they go about it in an awful way. I'm on the side of the pack because they're the protagonists, but this story could just as easily been told from the other side. I really hope they give some more history to make sense of this.

  17. I doubt it was laziness that made him stay. He was conflicted because now he has two families to think of and his girlfriend was going through a difficult time. Also, if he is going to have a child, it's possible that he's now perceiving the rules of the pack as a threat, and wants to distance himself. I could be wrong, but he doesn't seem to be as close to the pack as Nick and Clay. Elena is the one that the pack wants back, not Logan.

  18. It's possible that Logan still gets killed, although I hope not. I was bummed when someone posted the spoiler about Logan being killed, so I'll be happy if they deviate from the script. Maybe his character wasn't as well defined in the book, but they've focussed on him enough in the TV series, that losing him would be a big loss, IMO. I don't get why people would hate him. Same with Phillip.

  19. I actually like it better when werewolves don't change into a full wolf. They seem more powerful that way. Then they're not only animals or humans, they're something in between. Kind of super humans :-) I'd definitely enjoy this show more if Jeremy was more of an alpha. But maybe he'll man up (Wolf up?) after Antonio's death..

Maybe I should read the books this show is based on..? The danger is, if I like the books, I'd probably not enjoy watching the show after reading it. That's only OK when it comes to "game of Thrones", that TV show is still great :-)

  20. At the moment I would not recomend reading the books, at least I feel slightly bored sometimes because I know where it is heading (generally). The book Bitten (first of series) was planed as a stand alone romantic (adult) novel and you notice. With the next book the world building and SL picks up, but the series is not always from the perspective of werwolves and it took me sometime to get used to.
With Game of Thrones I feel having read the books makes me catch up on more things and details than if I wouldn't have. Although I knew the red wedding was coming, it was still such a huge shock. Maybe because it's been 10 yrs since I red the books.

  21. BTW I love both shows, but had a great laugh with this tweet from space: https://vine.co/v/MmEJ0BAvT5Q

  22. OMG! The red wedding :-( I cried so hard. Both reading and watching it was horrible. But I was relieved the series didn't show the worst Catelyn details... I'm desperately waiting for the next book, hoping the writer will bring the Stark Clan back together! :-)

  23. Hi Ine, just wanted to let you know that ther series is know going a different path, so if you still wanna read the books it will not be too repetetive.

  24. but only Talia changes into a full wolf....
I have just read all the books, even the short stories from Jeremys and Clays perspective. I did not get Jeremy until I read those two stories. By all wolf/werwolf world we have out there - Jeremy is not the typical Alpha material, but he was the only strategic thinking wolf and thus was supported by Antonio (who was actually the Alpha heir), more thinking less brute force (like Cain). In the bookes, mutts are described more like the Cain type. I had wondered about Jeremys Alpha Status in the bookes aswell.

I was so pissed about Antonio, and seeing Philip even more in this episode pissed me off, his storyline is so boring, I just roll my eyes every time he's on screen. I want him to die, or disappear of the show, I don't care, just get rid of him. Pete and Antonio are dead and he's still breathing, not fair (imo). And I'm sick of the pack being ALWAYS separated, Logan needs to come back ASAP.
