I like the series finale title (and you know it's not the season finale). Hopefully there's not a cliffhanger.

Yeah, I just didn't wanna add series finale. Seems too harsh.
ReplyDeleteLove the Hitchcock reference with 1.12! -Seems like we could put Ana in for Grace Kelly! (although it seems like we should apply this more to The Knave)
ReplyDeleteI was hoping we would at least get to 18 eps, but hopefully some of these characters can show themselves in OUAT or maybe they will try another spin off (the way they should have done it in between seasons or on hiatus) The final title seems fitting, but a bit flat/straight forward for it's own good...

ReplyDeleteWell, despite the fact that everyone keeps saying it's just a lame excuse in the wake of the show's disappointing performance, it is true that Wonderland was planned as a limited series from the beginning. They just might have added an additional storyline of some sort (possibly even a different spin-off) after the conclusion of this one if they had managed to drum up a decent audience. But the current story was always meant to have a definite ending with episode 13.
ReplyDeleteI don't know. Part of me would like a cliffhanger for certain characters, because I think it would be neat if they used some of the characters to pan over into a new spin off. Like if The Knave and The Red Queen or Lizard would end up in Neverland for some reason (and then the next spin off would be OUAT in Neverland). That's the only way I think it would be fun (and it would make the finale title a little more appealing with it's "...")
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I want to see Neverland again any time soon. I found it to be very disappointing in terms of visuals and atmosphere. Having a whole series based in it might be a little tiresome. However, there are other options, and I would have loved for the "OUAT in..." format to be used to explore the other worlds in the show's multiverse over time. But I don't know if they will ever try the spin-off experiment again.
ReplyDeleteIn any case, I don't really want any of the characters of Wonderland to disappear forever. I would particularly like to see Naveen Andrews' Jafar show up in the parent series.

ReplyDeletedamm, is it gonna be the series finale? i was really looking forward that they would do something awesome with wonderland, maybe mix up the stories from both OUAT and make up an incredible storyline... there are so much questions that were left unanswered on Wonderland, such as where does Cora and Hook fit into that? because they used to lived there for a while, what happens to Jafar? I knew Wonderland didn't have the best audience and personally i didn't like the beggining of wonderland but then it started to get my attention overtime, i thought they would do something to recover its audience, but... i guess is to late then =/
ReplyDeleteThat's unconfirmed. What the producers have said is that they're are telling a complete story in Wonderland with this season, but leaving room to tell another complete story.
ReplyDeleteWell I was just giving an example not setting something in stone. Personally I would rather see an expansion on OZ since OUAT is starting to explore it and as OUATiW has allusions to it, and a possible direct relation, should Zelana be Cora's and Rumple's daughter...I didn't care for Neverland either, but Hook and Pan are popular characters and there are a lot of fans (not myself) that do want to have a way to see those characters some more...I also wouldn't mind seeing the Arthurian reality explored.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see Jafar and/or the Red Queen on the main show. But I think it would be fun to see the Knave and maybe another character (Lizard or Ana) with him go on and be able to explore another reality. I think the Knave is just too good of a character to not see again.
Barbra Hershey was already confirmed to appear in a March episode (so it should be one of these). -And Rose McGovern is appearing on OUAT again. (It seems Cora might bridge a lot of things together, as OZ and Wonderland are a lot of like in terms of story, genre and types of literature, as Frank L. Baum seemed to barrow greatly from Lewis Carroll. OUATiW has had a few allusions to OZ too!)
ReplyDeleteAdditionally there are BTS photos in which two of our Wonderland characters venture to Storybrooke in one of these episodes as well!!! (I would guess that maybe they are looking for The Knave's HEART).
Originally OUATiW was meant to be a limited series to air on hiatus, but ABC pushed them to start in the fall and at comic con they stated that there could be a second season of OUATiW, even though the first season was meant to be a very specific story told. IMO it's ratings are really bad and I doubt we will see more adventures in Wonderland, but I'm hoping that some of the characters will either appear in the Mother show and/or that we could see another spin off with a couple of the Wonderland characters kicking it off...
I still hope they might get a second season seeing how ABC boss has taken the blame for the ratings...
