Robert Knepper, who played evolved human/carnival runner Samuel Sullivan in the original series, told us he would gladly return to the show. “It’s funny. I just did hear about that and I haven’t been approached yet, but I’m hoping that’s just because it’s just happened so quickly. I would love to be a part of it,” Knepper said.
In fact, Knepper would love it if this reboot were only the beginning. “I think the fans deserve a true [summary] of the whole thing, which in typical network fashion, sometimes you can’t always give that because they don’t know if they’re going to pick the show up. People have been asking for this for a long time — ‘Can you wrap this up?’ — and I hope that either it’s a really fitting wrap-up or it’s the beginning of a wrap-up and the fans come back and say, ‘We want some more!’ So we’ll see.”
The possibilities are endless, but Knepper does have one special request: “Hopefully nobody gets killed.”

No thanks, I was not a fan of his character.
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen season four because i lost interest way before then but a carnival plotline sounds awesome. I should watch it.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't that awesome.
ReplyDeleteI did like his character, one of the only reasons I watched the last series.
ReplyDeletehe is one of the many reasons i hated season 4 in the first place!!
ReplyDeletePlease, please, PLEASE no!
ReplyDeleteThe carnival story, and Samuel, had so much potential in season 4 but it was totally squandered, climaxing with....Samuel and Peter pushing a bit of dirt across the ground. I get the budget wasn't much but that was so weak. No more Knepper on Heroes please!
Love the actor, hated the character.
ReplyDeletePlease Nooooooooooo! This storyline was part of the problem, part of its downfall....I do like him a lot, lets hope he gets another role o some other show...
ReplyDeleteJust no. So much no. It was the inane Carnival storyline that helped to further ruin an already ruined (due to pathetic writing) show. Stay far away from this incoming disaster Robert.
ReplyDeleteKeep the good memories of the show you have. Season 4 will murder all those good memories in short order.
ReplyDeleteLOL he's the one I missed the least. Hope he doesn't.
ReplyDeleteI thought Season 4 was as good or better than Seasons 2 and 3 honestly. Take that for whatever it's worth since 2 and 3 were bad! XD
ReplyDeleteAt least in Season 4 they attempted to correct the mistakes made in the first 3 seasons.
Love Knepper and actually enjoyed the character, but not sure I want to see more of him!
ReplyDeleteI think all those old plots and characters should be set aside and removed from the main thrust of Heroes: Reborn. Maybe a cameo by a past hero in an episode or two, and possibly returning as a mentor or connection point. HRG would be the best choice to return in any recurring capacity IMO.
It sounded awesome to us too...and then we watched it and it wasn't that great. Better than Villains I guess. That was the worst volume for me. The whole eclipse thing...and Primatec vs Pinehearst thing...and after showing us how far reaching and deep the Company was...it turns out, all you had to do to bring them down was burn down a building...very anticlimactic.
ReplyDeleteFour was a hell of a lot better then three, three was god awful.
ReplyDeleteNot sure what they could show of him considering he can't be free without risking him sinking entire cities underground.
