Diggle is the best! He gets all the points for telling Felicity how special she is. It is Oliver's loss, I guess. Felicity deserves better. Meanwhile, he can continue with his horrible sister love triangle.
oh my poor baby!! :( Clock King did do a number on her. She is right its not about them its about her... Dig you are my man. Can I keep you? Love their relationship. I missed it so much.
i love diggle!! i think felicity will need to hear something similar from oliver before she will believe it. when she i sad though i am sad. she is a great actress.
Diggle's a good guy and I appreciate him getting some one-on-one time with Felicity. I only wish Arrow would give him more opportunities to kick some ass.
I really hope Felicity is able to obtain some self worth and self esteem in this episode, She has amazing skills and Sara being around doesn't diminish them. I would love to see Felicity and Sara become friends but that wont happen while Felicity is jealous.
Finally a Diggle/Felicity scene! And he's telling her she's irreplaceable - yay! Wish EBR would deliver her lines a little more loudly, though, couldn't hear all of them properly.
Sure. :) Now that I rewatched it I actually understood the two lines she kinda whispered ("This isn't about them being together" and "I have a lot of work to do"). So the only thing I'm still not clear on is "Sara can handle [x], she can kick ass".
Yes, Sara/Felicity friendship please. It's time for two women to be friends on this show, especially to stick it to the shippers who insist on pitting them against each other because only one can win Oliver's heart. *eyeroll*
Right there with ya. I love when Diggle has more scenes. B/c he's mostly nowadays just in the background being the voice of reason. I love Diggs scenes even more with Felicity, b/c of their brother/sister relationship. It's so cute! Their sibling love. : )
100% agree one of the reasons I like this show is no petty dramas like tween shows and the while there is romantic relations it is nowhere near the primary focus. The absolute last thing I want is some kind of cat fight over Oliver, these are two great women characters I don't want them made that pathetic.
Ok i have to ask this. As an Olicity Shipper, am i the only one annoyed by the fact, that they took the typical route of, "Everyone can see she has feelings for him, except for him"?? I feel they're better than that. But i must say, i am glad that they're making Oliver blind to the fact, b/c he's not ready, and i wouldn't want Felicity to be MORE embarrassed than she already feels. = /
Hahaha. I'm glad i can make this hour fun. I'm waiting for my 8 pm shows. Right now i'm watching some crappy lifetime movie where the Male ballet instructor is dating his students' mother, to get closer to his student. And i know this actor too. He always plays the sleazy asshole characters. Just looking at his face makes me want to punch him. lol He's not one of the actors whose characters, i love to hate. I just hate him. And he's not handsome at all. I don't see the appeal.
B/c i get to see him make a complete creepy obsessive ass out of himself. Which he just did. lol He was all "Erica Erica you feel the same way. I know you do." Dude she's 16. lol Geez.
Ha!! Well the mother (Debra) just made a police report. But of course the police aren't taking her word for it, asking if they had a physical relationship. Ugh! I hate cops. I'm rooting for the Mother, b/c since the cops won't help her, she'd digging deeper. Go Mom! I love when mother's take more action than the authority.
That bothers me so much. Especially when Moira pointed it out to Felicity. It's like how obvious is she? because I don't find her that obvious. Yes, she makes the cutest sexual innuendos to Oliver but he just blows them off cause that's just her character like when she freaked out for telling Walter she was his girl, but not actually his girl, "not trying to make a pass or anything" lol. I really don't want her coming off as desperate / needy/ jealous / obvious.
Shannon as a non olicity fan i feel that Felicity has been friend zoned on numerous occasions by Oliver to me they were always partners first nothing more jmo
LOL "world wide obvious statement" That was funny. Actually i liked the Moira/Felicity scene. I found it very BRAVE for Felicity. Agreed i did not like Moira's threats towards Felicity throwing out her feelings like that. But the scene itself was very edgy. I find myself curious with their next encounter since Moira's threats did not scare Felicity away for being honest with Oliver.
I have the entire series. No matter how much i know the episodes by heart, whenever i'm in a crappy mood. I just pop it in. Never fails to make me laugh. = )
Its not a tween show, I agree but they should stop with this triangle hexagon stuff. Just stick with one romantic pair at a time and go with it. Don't dangle the Oliver carrot over every female character's face all the time to appease every fandom.
I thought she was whispering because she did not want Sara and Oliver to overhear what she was saying. I didn't have any trouble understanding maybe because I watched with headphones.
I would say writer's main failure this season has been that for showing kick ass action scenes, DC comics references and fast paced story telling they sacrificed characters like Diggle, Thea and even Laurel. There is no smooth continuity in story telling this season.
Dig shouldn't have to stand in the background all the time. Atleast send him to collect some intel once in a while. Make him a lower version of Reese from POI.
I don't watch POI, so I cannot agree or disagree with that reference. Sorry. However, I do see what you're saying about Diggle and Thea. (Yes i purposely did that). I think Diggle's time to shine is coming very soon though, which I am excited about. For Thea this episode, I have seen a lot of growth, but I also wanted her to have more of a storyline than worried gf on Roy's arm. But when she finds out the big Malcolm secret, her storyline will power drive in the fast lane.
Diggle and Thea are regulars they shouldn't need their character centric episodes to get some screen time or development. I know LoA is coming and Thea story is coming. But they should have had these characters developed all through the season.
I wish the writers had the guts to bring Sara as an individual with connection to Oliver from island and not as a Lance sister. Then the whole Lance sister Oliver sandwich melodrama can be avoided and that time could have used for other characters. Is it really necessary BC to have a surname of Lance?
So true. Moira has actually exchanged dialogues with Felicity only twice before that episode. I think writers were hammering the point in our heads that look Oliver and Felicity are tight and they trust each other.
I badly want Oliver and Felicity to be at odds by the end of the season. Then all the Olicity on the nose bonding scenes will make sense.
I agree. They're main characters, and b/c of that they should have a whole season development. Instead of many episode arcs, but who's to say, that the arcs they have coming up won't continue through season 3? I mean the effects of w/e events happen before this season is over, could change them forever. I think their storylines coming up, is their ticket to really develop them.
As for BC, yes it is. Very necessary. Idc for the triangle, honestly, at this point, idt there is a triangle. JMHO. So that doesn't bother me. But we don't know how long Sara will be with us, (or at least iI don't b/c iI stay away from major spoilers) so right now, iI just enjoy every moment we get with Sara.
I love Sara and I hope she remains a member of this show for a long time. There is no triangle as of now but its a messy situation with these three. I don't know how they are going to resolve this.
We should be careful with the "BC has to have the last name Lance" argument because that's exactly the angle Laurel fans play: that she's the "rightful" BC because she's got her alter ego's comic name. Although, as I've pointed out, she doesn't even use her first name Dinah the way comic BC did.
Personally, I think a great way to solve this dilemma would be to kill Laurel off and have Sara, who is still legally dead, assume her identity on paper (social security number and all that). And huzzah! Dinah Laurel Lance is the Black Canary after all :)
My major problem with BC being a Lance sister in this universe is that there is no way they can convince me Arrow and BC can be in a relationship. I know BC in comic canon was a Lance and was the big love of Oliver but in the show the situation is so messed up and the writers have written themselves into a corner with the sisters saga.
How much ever island background they show between Oliver and Sara, Sara will always be his ex girlfriend's sister whom he used for cheating and Oliver will always be her sister's ex-boyfriend with whom she ran away while he was with the sister. The whole thing has an ick-factor that I can't get over. That's why I said I would have been so happy if Sara was a stranger Oliver met on Ivo's boat and forged a connection. Then I could get behind them. They have already retconned a lot of Sara/Laurel from season 1 and I am not a fan of it.
I love Sara a lot and one of the cool factor of her for me was that she changed completely from who she was pre-island and during the episode LoA it felt like she was completely over Oliver. They ruined that by hooking them up last episode. Now if they are going to kill Laurel and keep Oliver Sara as OTP of the show I will grudgingly accept it. But if keep them together and then atlast kill her off and make Laurel BC I will throw something at the tv.
I am simply tired of Oliver/Sara/Laurel issue. It is such a Bold & Beautifulesque story line that I just want it to be over. My hope is this will not move on to next season. And please season 3 can there be more continuity between episodes and more focus on core characters please.
Once more can I say Dig... you are my man. Can't wait to see you shirtless tomorrow xo
I can't disagree at all. I'm torn about Oliver and Sara... part of me really enjoys their easy and natural connection, how they "get" each other easily and can let their guard down around each other in a way they don't do with anyone else. Since romance on TV usually involves a ton of melodrama, awkwardness and tension, there's something incredibly refreshing about how Oliver and Sara are in sync can just be themselves when they're together. But, the other part of me agrees with you. There's so much ugly, painful history between Oliver and the Lance sisters, and so much emotional baggage that you couldn't fit it into a cargo plane. So it's inevitably going to be tasteless for Oliver to get together with either one of them, even if the other one dies (perhaps more so).
So ultimately, I do think it would be best for the series if they left Oliver and Sara's hook up at that, a one-time thing that happened in a moment of weakness and vulnerability. I'm not going to enjoy their relationship any less if it's platonic. I don't know what they are going to do with Laurel's character though, because if they don't make the horrible mistake of throwing Sara under the bus so Laurel can assume the BC persona, she just sort of becomes excess on the show.
And yeah! Shirtless Digg in bed with Lyla was the hottest thing ever, no? I was like "FINALLY, Digg gets to have a little fun... not with his sister-in-law *facepalm*".
Well the messy situation is not going to go anywhere. Hope they have a plan. Sometimes I feel its because I am a female that I give importance to how relationships happen in this show. Maybe I should not invest myself into such things.
Shirtless Digg *eyebrow wiggle*. "Hello Handsome!!!". With Lyla he was on the bed couldn't enjoy thoroughly. Now this episode eye candy time. Him being shirtless and yummy was the best part of that producer's preview.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Diggle is the greatest Olicity shipper ever! And the best friend, also! ;)
ReplyDeleteOh felicity :(
ReplyDeleteDiggle is the best! He gets all the points for telling Felicity how special she is.

owwww Felicity let me love you!

ReplyDeleteI agree isn't Digg just awesome i wanted to hug him through the screen lol

ReplyDeleteIts not a tween show, I agree but they should stop with this triangle hexagon stuff. Just stick with one romantic pair at a time and go with it. Don't dangle the Oliver carrot over every female character's face all the time to appease every fandom.

ReplyDeletelove triangles, two women wanting the same guy, jealousy,... yep it's starting to taking the CW form perfectly

Friends remind me of my school days. One of the few english shows that used to come in my country during that time. Good old days:)

ReplyDeleteMaybe, it's just unclear from the scene if Sara and Ollie are there. (Is it taking place in the Arrowcave? I can't tell.)
ReplyDeleteThanks. Hey, does she mean analyze blood as in the material, or (psycho)-analyze Sebastian Blood? Haha.
ReplyDeleteAm I really the only one that dosen´t see "it" when it comes to Oliver and Felicity? And WHY does Oliver need to romantivally involved with anybody?
ReplyDeleteIt is. She is working on the destroyed servers. I don't know if others are there. I just assumed.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny but David is so much older than Emily that Digg kinda seems more like Felicity's cool young uncle to me than her big brother. Hehe.
ReplyDeleteWe should be careful with the "BC has to have the last name Lance" argument because that's exactly the angle Laurel fans play: that she's the "rightful" BC because she's got her alter ego's comic name.
