Set and shot in London, the suspenseful event series once again will follow the exploits of heroic agent JACK BAUER (Sutherland). Four years ago, Jack was a fugitive from justice. Now an exile, he nevertheless is willing to risk his life and freedom to avert yet another global disaster. I just have push notifications for SpoilerTV's Twitter feed on my smartphone, so I get news immediately. I also jumped quite ecstatically/enthusiastically in my chair when this update came in, hahaha :)

ReplyDeleteThis is one hell of a cast. I love Donovan, really glad he's involved. Yvonne has proven herself as a versatile actress. Anyone who did The Wire is brilliant. Love Devane. And all the cool people who did 24 before are back. It's like candy!

ReplyDeleteIt's a bit confusing. It's Day 9 for the characters, but Live Another Day seems to be considered a series premiere. It's a somewhat new concept - 12 episodes, real-time in the episodes, skipping hours between episodes, taking place in Europe and a summer series - so they probably want to make it clear this is not actually the original show returning. But then it also says TWF-901/902 in the production code line, so they obviously operated in production the same way they did with the original series. I'm having a difficult time trying to determine whether it is officially season 1 or season 9, but I feel it has enough differences to be called a separate entity within the 24 universe.

ReplyDeleteI always wished that Jack would one day Strike back at the US in a Anti Hero form, for something bad they do. I know its not gonna happen, but hope he does some against the CIA after him.
