Went with Oliver&Laurel and Klaus&Caroline. Also wanted to go with Emma&Neil. Others that were missing: Emma&Hook, Emily&Aiden, Coach&CeCe, Stephen&Cara, Kurt&Blaine,
Exactly! Zoe has more chemistry with George and/or Wade. Even more chemistry with Lemon or Annabeth, for god's sake. Surprised that he is still there after a few episodes.
The worst? Most 'will they / won't they' on television, they're excruciating, especially in dramas, and people who like that (or, even worse, who keep watching a show mostly because of that) are the AT&T of people.
That being said, I don't care about most shows in the poll, but I don't get why Ichabod/Katrina would be a particularly bad couple... because some people are rooting for him to be with Abbie, even though he's married (and still very much fond of his wife) and, wait, it doesn't add any dramatic value to the story whatsoever? Pffff. I personally am indifferent to Ichabod/Katrina.
I actually like Carrie/Brody, because it's such an unusual relationship between them, it's very much an impossible love, it doesn't take too much screen time (even if it influences some of their actions, perhaps too much for Carrie), and I very much enjoyed how it played out. Claire Danes knows a thing or two about Romeo and Juliet, and weirdly enough Damian Lewis just played a part in a new 2013 film about Romeo and Juliet.
Barney/Robin are often excruciating (much like the show itself for a while), so I voted for them.
I went with Oliver & Laurel and Fitz and Olivia because I still watch these 2 shows otherwise I would have voted for the pairings of Barney & Robin and Cristina & Owen but I didn't feel l should vote for them since I gave up on the shows in 2012.
Other Pairings that didnt/dont sit well with me;
Rayna & Liam (Nashville) Alexis & Pi (Castle) Alicia & Peter (The Good Wife) CeCe & Coach (New Girl)
Well, Damon and Elena. I ship them, but their relationship this season was disappointing. Loved them till s4 and I was excruciatingly happy with the s4 finale, and I am still holding out hope that they'll get a better storyline in the other half of season 5, or at least share some real relationship moments assuming they get back together.
Other: Coach & Cece - New Girl Neal & Rebecca - White Collar Jace & Daphne - Switched at Birth May & Ward - Agents of SHIELD..if they're counted as a couple that is
only saw the first episode of scandal disliked it for it's political bias (down click and flame all you like i won't say anything to change it) and didn't like the way fitz came on to olivia when she clearly didn't want his advances. just rubs me wrong.
finally brings me to Arrow, where Laurel is too icy than hot than back again for my liking. i can see why Olicity is popular and hope that the best couple and best chemistry wins out in the end. 24fan out.
The only ones I absolutely hated were any of Emma Swan's badly written love interests. One is her statutory rapist who abandoned her and the other is a guy that had tried to kill her several times in the past week before deciding he loved her.
SOOOOOO happy Cristina/Owen is over though. He's probably the worst character ever on Grey's Anatomy. And that includes the interns of Seasons 4 and 5.
I don't watch Once Upon a Time anymore (an episode here and there) but going by the fandom, Emma/Neal should win, apparently Neal is not well liked at all.
Aww, I love Ichabod and Katrina, even though I suspect in by the shows end he will end up sharing the remainder of his life with Abbie...
Hmmm not any on the list....
Wasn't fond of Jason/Violet relationship on True Blood just because I am kind of sick of seeing Jason a slave to sex-orientated abusive women, cults, ect, but to be fair I don't really feel like I know Violet well enough to make a strong case on the matter. So I could change my mind depending on where the character goes...
I can't really think of any show I watched where I didn't find a relationship intriguing or necessary to move plots, exploit themes, and/or examine identities of characters....
Maybe Girls? I don't like any character on that show or the relationships they get into. I've tried to embrace it with an open mind, but just can't can't can't :p
hahaha i knew it! As soon as i saw this pole, i said Oliver and Laurel. I came, they're on here, voted w/o hesitation, and they're on top. And not in a positive way. I swear they're the worst. I also voted for Ichabod and Katrina, the day he realizes he's no longer married to some lingering dead woman, i'll be happy. I have nothing against Katrina, but c'mon! who we kiddin??
My Top10 in no particular order: Luke/Rayna (Nashville) Laurel/Oliver (Arrow) Stephen/Cara (The Tomorrow People) Lucy/Raj (The Big Bang Theory) Peri/Spence ( Devious Maids) Angie/Junior (Under the Dome) Jenna/Colin (Awkward) Victor/Joanna (Witches of East End) Ethan/Vivian (Mastes of Sex) Cristina/Owen (Grey's Anatomy)
Really? to that you call your chemistry? lol. I think there is more chemistry between Hook and Tink. and frankly I do not care about anything the captain issue swan
Really? to that you call your chemistry? I think there is more chemistry between Colin and Rose (tinkerbell). and frankly I don't care about anything about captain swan
Before even seeing the choices, Damon and Elena were my first choice. Then Caroline and Klaus, but I didn't choose them ultimately because they never have been a couple and most likely never will be, just the idea of them is nauseating though. So, my second choice, I chose Olivia and Fitz. HM would be Laurel and Oliver.
I also agree with someone naming Joel and Zoe, they are the worst. Joel's an okay guy and I don't dislike him, but I hate him with Zoe. They have no chemistry, it's worse than Zoe and George.
Its kind of sad how much joy this gives Olicity fans, how much time and energy you guys invest into this.
Really if you have the best couple, isn't it enough just to know that, than to have to prove something by voting excessively for your ship and against others on polls. Its kind of sad you have to laugh at people who ship differently and have to exhibit your superiority for a ship that hardly ever has any screentime and storyline together.
I don't even like either ship, I think the writing in Arrow is awful and don't get how the Olicity fandom acts so superior like they have a lot better than everyone.
I don't even ship Swan Thief (Emma/Neal) and I think it's kinda harsh to have them in a 'worst couple of 2013'. Don't get me wrong, from a biased pointed of view, I can see why people WOULD ship them, and also why people WOULDN'T ship them. Neal essentially did leave Emma, but he thought it was for the better because she would be able to get back with her family and break the curse - though this is still bad, because he did still leave her, so y'know, not saying it's 100% justifiable. But I don't understand the HUGE amounts of hate he gets. It wasn't him who called the police (that was actually August) and he didn't know Emma was pregnant. And personally, if he would have known she was pregnant, he would have stayed with her.
I don't understand how Emma/Neal are any worse than other ships that include Emma? (and I'm a Swan Queen shipper, so I DO see all the hate all ships get and worse). At least his character arc isn't JUST EMMA... Unlike some...
I've liked the dynamic between them, i mean I don't want to see them being endgame, but they are no way the 'worst' in my opinion. :))
Nahh, it actually makes me smile to see how bad the ship is. I don't invest in hating it since *my* ship is awesome by itself but I'm sure going to enjoy small pleasures.
I get the people that don't like Katrina. She's bland, never actually does anything, and is only used as a plot device. I can't get invested in a character like that. Maybe once she escapes purgatory, but until then I'm with the people that just doesn't care.
Still, my votes went to Oliver/Laurel and Barney/Robin.
I agree. Its only the Olicity fans that don't like Oliver/Laurel. Its not like people dislike the pairing on its own merits and disliked it before Felicity ever appeared on the show and interacted with Oliver. That would be insane!
Hook/Emma is the worst for me. It's so poor written, and Hook's character has been completely erased to turn him into a pathetic lovesick puppy dog. Give me the asshole villain with shades of gray or give me nothing.
I find it hilarious!! Seriously! And it has NOTHING to do with the fact that i'm an Olicity shipper. There is absolutely nothing between "Lauliver". They're no good for one another. I think they're better off when they are with other people. I think Tommy was good for her. I really do believe that. And Laurel, since Tommy left, i can't even tolerate her anymore. I can't even get gushy over her sweet moments with Quentin. I look at her and there's zero going on. But as far as her and Oliver, pftt, they really are the worst, and if Diggle (bff/confidant) has to give him a lecture on Laurel, then that's a clear sign he should listen. Whether Olicity get together or not (though we know it'll happen sometime in the series) i think Oliver is HEALTHIER w/o Laurel, despite her DC comic fate role. (which is a shame b/c i love BC in the comics and didn't mind they are destined for each other) He's stronger w/o her.
I think they're both healthier without the other. The main problem with the 2 is that they have close to no chemistry together. Chemistry is subjective, obviously, but they just lack the *it* that makes their interactions spark. I don't think it's just the writing for her that sucks, but the lack of good chemistry between her and Stephen/Oliver, that just makes their scenes fall flat when they should boil with want and love but regret and sadness. I wonder if the actress were switched around there would be more support for Laurel/Oliver.
I'm totally with you on Alicia/Peter - I'm always surprised that there are so many people who love them. CeCe and Coach are just weird (and slightly obnoxious), and I don't know if anyone's meant to like Alexis and Pi. I feel like she and her dad don't fight often and it was an excuse to show her growing up and making her own decisions, even if they're not ones that Castle approves of. I don't think it'll last much longer.
I agree completely. Someone showed me a video with Tommy and Laurel, and she was glowing!! With Oliver, doom and gloom. And that's not "love". There's gotta be happy moments in their once in awhile!! I mean let's take Buffy and Angel for example. Yeah Angel was brooding, but he was VERY passionate. And Angel made Buffy stronger, not weaker. But he also couldn't help her grow as the woman she needed to be (enter Spike). But everyday with them was the end of the world, but not on a boring level, more like i can't live w/o you level. There were sparks there. Oliver and Laurel just don't have it. And yeah!! I think if they did recast her, maybe that would help. I mean i don't hate Katie, i liked her in SPN, but for the last yr since season 1, she's really not doing a great job. Unfortunately it's too late to recast her.
I watched the first two seasons on a wim through HBO on demand when the second season was airing. I really just don't like it. There was maybe one or two episodes in the second season I could appreciate, but on the whole it's just not my kind of show. It just doesn't feel like there's any real purpose to it, because I don't feel like any of them ever learn anything lol!
Well, I guess my priorities are the following 2 "ships":
1. Klaus/Caroline. Because nothing, my friends, is hotter - or more respectful towards women - than putting an 18/19 year old girl in a relationship with a 1000+ year old psychotic vampire/werewolf who has been terrorizing her and her friends for many months, meant to sacrifice her in a ritual, murdered her best friend's aunt and her boyfriend's mother (among many others), has attempted to murder said best friend and said boyfriend multiple times (as well as turning the boyfriend into his helpless slave), sending the boyfriend to bite and nearly kill her, biting and nearly killing her himself... why, the list of Klaus' virtues is endless, huh? But wait - he may have done some (or, you know, a lot) of evil psycho shit, BUT!!!! He's totally sweet to Car and he DREW HER PONIES!!!!!!!1111 Yeah, you had me at ponies. I'm a hardcore shipper now. 2. Oliver/Laurel. Because if the show is so intent on making these two happen, why not just cast a fireplace log as Laurel? It can't have less chemistry with Amell than Cassidy does, or emote less than she has been this season. Plus, you would save tons on the salary cuz I bet the log doesn't actually have to get paid. It's a great idea. Really, actors sometimes make the character, so perhaps as played by said fireplace log, Laurel would become less shrill, lifeless, cold, unpleasant, unwarrantedly (that's totally a word) snarky, and basically the opposite of everything you'd expect a person who worked non-profit to be. It's a win on all counts, folks!
Honorable mentions go to: 1. Damon/Elena - the reasons are quite similar to Caroline/Klaus, though Damon doesn't quite reach Klaus' level. Snapping Jeremy's neck alone (or the rape and abuse of Caroline) should have obliterated even the most remote chance of this relationship ever happening, even if Damon spent the next few decades helping old ladies cross the street and getting kittens off trees. But since Elena is the Bella Swan of the small screen, and minor nuisances like her BFF being raped or her brother's snapped neck certainly won't stop her, here we are. Killer. 2. Emma/Neal - duller than dishwater, and involves less chemistry than Emma has with her right shoe. On top of that, Neal is connected to a horrible trauma that made Emma give up her child (which she regrets to this day) and be unable to trust anyone for a long time. This is something that's always going to taint their relationship, regardless of whether or not what Neal did to her can be excused given the circumstances. I'm sure she's forgiven him and wants him in Henry's life, but these two as a couple... just no. Too much baggage. 3. Carrie/Brody - I actually kinda liked them in the first season. You know, soulmates in their fucked-up-ness. But near the end of Season 2, the show was trying to sell me the two of them as some kind of epic romance, which... yeah, no. He is a terrorist - one who's been humanized and given many layers in the show, yes, but a terrorist nonetheless. They made it very clear when he DID, in fact, push the button to detonate his vest in the Season 1 finale, and only a few loose wires prevented the mass murder he intended to commit. Carrie allowing herself to be with someone like that, someone who represents everything she's fought against her whole life, the kind of evil she joined the CIA to prevent... simply turns her into yet another female character defined completely by romance, and willing to throw her morals and beliefs out the window once she's got the hots for a guy. What a shame. At least Saul called her on it, but it doesn't seem to have had much effect on her.
I'd rather see Oliver with Felicity than with Laurel, just because she's meant to become the black canary because of the comics It doesn't mean that the producers should go that path...
Actually Neal is the only reason why I watched S2 but I quit the show because Hook and Hook/Emma suck and they are getting lots of screentime. And loud fans doesn't equal what the majority of the audience thinks.
I've seen 2 episodes with Neal, one where he sacrificed himself n the portal to save Emma and the other where Neal was working with Robin Hood and Mulan to capture the shadow so he could travel to Neverland to save Henry.
I thought he was cool but I don't really know that much else about him. I've just seen a lot of anger directed towards Neal on various forum. Most places I visit seem to be pro Hook.
I'm guessing a the people who are saying Emma/Hook are SwanQueen shippers. *Rolls eyes* They just hate the fact that the writers decided to go with CS because there is chemistry there. Also, can they stop sending hate to all other shippers and the producers. We are not being homophobic because we don't ship SQ, we just don't see any fu*king chemistry.
Please explain to me when Hook has tried to kill Emma. (Don't get me wrong, I liked Emma/Graham.) But I don't remember a time Hook has tried to hurt Emma intentionally. He even threw the sword fight for her. (I mean she has never picked up a sword but managed to beat a pirate.)
Loud fans?! Captain Swan?? SwanQueen are worse. Sending anon hate to anyone who doesn't ship their ship INCLUDING the producers. I'm not saying all SQ fans are behaving like petulant children but there is no need for them to be complete assholes to everyone else. Telling CS fans that they hope they get cancer. That's just pathetic. And the CS fans aren't loud, we have our own little corner in the fandom, hated by everyone else for having an opinion.
Tricking her into a cage with no exit by violating her friend and leaving her there to die. Helping people who intended to kill her in numerous plans (Cora, Greg & Tamara, Regina, then Greg & Tamara again). Stealing their only method of escape and sailing away from Storybrooke where she 1000% would have died if she didn't save herself with Regina.
I wouldn't really call it 'throwing' a sword fight considering he was so lovely about making rape jokes while on top of her.
'Rape' jokes? Most people would call that flirting. I think you should look up the definition of rape because saying He'd rather do more enjoyable activities with a woman on her back and 'When I jab you with my sword you''ll feel it' doesn't sound like a rape joke to me. Locking her in the cage, she did the same to him. Plus I think he knew she would find a way out. He knew she wouldn't give up until she got her son back. Also, Hook allies himself with whoever would have got him his revenge on The Dark One. Which he gave up to HELP Emma save her son.
Wow!! I love this poll!! And why am I not surprised Laurel and Oliver are at the top winning. Obviously I voted for them. I am just tired of Lauriver. Bring on Olicity. PLEASE! because Lauriver is just BORING!
Sorry David their are people that like Laurel and Oliver i was a Shado man myself but how about showing some respect to others for a change if possible
LOL! I'm not going to fight it out with you. Your entitled to your opinion. I want to like Laurel AGAIN. This morning I was saying I don't want to see her episodes but now I do. And I'm actually going to look forward to her episodes on arrow. Because I want to get re invested in her as a character and I'm actually ready to like her because I loved her in season 1. I want her to kick ASS!! Unlike you I just don;t ship her with Oliver that doesn't mean I want her killed.
Have serious issues with: - OUAT, Neal and Emma: I do like Hook and Emma but I can take them or leave them, I am not big on it, so that's not my problem. There is just something about the Neal character that bugs me (maybe it's the actor, I think he is the weakest link on the cast). Also, I lost any respect for the relationship when he was engaged to Tamara and professing his love for her the whole time and then the day after was acting like he had loved Emma forever and ever. That's just BS, I will never support that - TVD, Klaus and Caroline: I really disliked Klauss on TVD for everything he had done there to everyone which made a relationship with Caroline ridiculous in my mind IMO. I've grown to like him a lot in The Originals for what they are doing with his character there but it's just a big fat No with Caroline because it would be ridiculous for her character to be with someone like him after everything he did to her and her friends - TGW, Alicia and Peter: Just no, no and no again.
Others: - True Blood: Sookie and Bill - The Tomorrow People: Stephen and Kara - The Tomorrow People: Stephen and Astrid - The Newsroom: Maggie and Don - Scandal: Quinn and Charlie or Quinn and Huck - Grey's Anatomy: Christina and Shane - Revenge: I like Emily and Jack less and less and Emily and Ayden more and more. Can't say I dislike Emily and Jess enough to place them here with the others, but they are worth a mention
Worst relationship of all time: George and Izzie from Grey's. I never got so angry with a relationship on a tv show before.
Neal is a statutory rapist? When Neal and Emma met in 2001, Neal was 24 and Emma 17-18. According to Neal's wanted poster Neal was born in 1977 and we know that Emma was born in 1983. I'm not American but where I'm from the age of consent is 16, so it doesn't disturb me. I see nothing questionable in their relationship. Do you really think that Neal wouldn't have let Emma go if she wanted to? Do you really think he raped her?
They made it very clear when he DID, in fact, push the button to detonate his vest in the Season 1 finale, and only a few loose wires prevented the mass murder he intended to commit. Carrie allowing herself to be with someone like that....
I couldn't tell if by "that" you were referring to the preceding sentence, but if you were, well Carrie never knew that. Only that he had on the vest, Dana called him and he chose not to do it.
Barney/Robin got my vote. And basically every couple in OUAT, but especially Emma/Hook. Awful. Don't care for Emma/Neal that much either, or Charming/Snow...I hope they do a much better job when they get around to Regina and Robin Hood.
hahaha first inform yourself of the facts sending hate for our ship because your ship just send hate. and btw, chemistry? Really? see more chemistry between Tink and Hook.
btw.. Hook is a saint right? He don't shoot Belle, not mocked a disabled person (Rumple), not locked up Emma for him to go to Storybrooke, not worked with Cora for years, didn't work for Greg and Tamara and their causes almost dies Regina, right? Ah but true! Regina is a villain is really what she deserved.
Now just because he wants to get into the pants and Emma is a Hero? OMG! Does not even care Henry! everything he does he does for his "love" for Emma, who incidentally very selfish. And you say: "We are not being homophobic because we don't ship SQ, we just don't see any fu*king chemistry." really? you want me showing all offensive tweets by your glorified ship to our ship?
It's kinda of sad that people spend so much time on these polls and boards to gloat and spread bashing on characters of a couple of show that they hate. You seem to be all over this board with your nonsense, i don't find your humor funny at all. I find it so annoying and childish. It seems to me that you have nothing better to do with your life. People like you are so obsessed with shipping, ruins these good shows because that want to see people paired. I like Laurel. There is nothing wrong with her. She is a tough lawyer who i think should be given better storylines than Felicity. I wished Laurel would have been the one to have find out about Oliver being the Vigilante than Felicity. Maybe Laurel would have be more understanding about Oliver and what he went through on the island. Felicity does nothing for me. She is annoying half the time and she seems like she's lusting after Oliver because she see him with other women. As for Katrina, i think is so sad that people spend most of their waking moment judging her because shippers want Ichabod and Abbie to hook up. To make if perfectly clear, Ichabod is married to Katrina, who is very devoted to her, and always want to be with her. There is no attraction between Ichabod and Abbie. I would be out of Ichabod's character to go and just hook up with someone else because Katrina is trapped in purgatory. Also, Katrina is not dead, she is very much alive.
Excuse me, I'm not ruining the shows, and shipping is not all i care about. So don't assume b/c you read my negative comments, that you assume it's all i care about. But HELLO!! This is the WORST COUPLE POLL!! What should i comment about, the action in the show??
It seems to me, that all you concentrate on are my negative comments. If you were actually following me around this site, i have said PLENTY of times, that i tried liking Laurel as a stand alone character through the ENTIRE season 1. I have said plenty of times that it's the writer's fault, that Laurel is just a terrible character. She has no depth whatsoever. AND me not liking Laurel has nothing to do with my love for Felicity, which i have also stated over an over!! Like i've said on numerous polls and articles, it's a shame what they did to Laurel b/c she is supposed to be BC, and how they're portraying her now, is VERY disappointing, b/c i actually like BC. But there is NOTHING positive about her.
I wish they would do something good with her character, but they're not. And after watching her through the entire season 1 till now. Enough is enough. They have about one more shot to redeem her, and if they don't. Then i really will never like her. She's had more than enough tries with me, and anyone else that can't stand her. If you want to like her go right ahead. But i'm not gonna act like i don't like her just to make YOU feel better.
If they actually did something with her, then i'd have something positive to say, i'll have no problem giving her a compliment when/if the time comes for it. But don't think for a second that you can come on a site and NOT read negative comments about one of the characters you like. It happens EVERYWHERE on all sites and it sure as hell isn't just coming from me. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. And FTR...I didn't bother to ship Olicity, until wayyyy down the line.
As for Sleepy Hollow...umm did i say anything about Ichabod and Abbie?? No i did not. I was talking about Ichabod alone!! Ichabod and Katrina are another worst couple, b/c she's stuck in LIMBO, and she is DEAD!! She's not free! She's not breathing and she can only be talked to when one of them are in a sleeping state, or when Ichabod is close to death! It doesn't get much worst than that. And it's totally messing with his mental state, i'll tell you that much. She is a ghost, period. I can't dislike Katrina b/c there's nothing to really dislike her for, (except her hiding her and Ichabod's child from him, and not bothering to bring it up til AFTER he found out) as a major character she's a very minor character. When and If she becomes corporeal then i'll actually be glad for Ichabod. Until then i'm gonna face the fact that she is nothing but a plot device, maybe you should do the same.
I completely agree with you on that. This shipping fandom has gotten to utterly ridiculous, seems people have no life of their own. LOL, i find it so annoying that all this animosity is ruining shows for me, and i am sure for other viewers as well, because people are totaly obsess with pairing couple who might not work out down the road. Once the writers put these couples together for the sake of shippers, then the show is done and over.
You're right, Carrie didn't know that specific detail - that he actually went through with detonating the vest and it only failed due to happenstance. However, we, the audience, did know, so asking us to root for Carrie and Brody after that was more than a bit problematic. (And I think he still looks bad enough from Carrie's PoV even without said detail.)
I'm guessing what she means is that Neal was technically hundreds of years old when he got together with Emma, because he's Bae and was in Neverland/wherever for a long time. I agree that he isn't a statutory rapist, though, because once Emma was a above the age of consent, she could have consensual sex with anyone no matter how old they were. (I don't like Neal and Emma together but that's for other reasons.)
WORD @ Stephen and Cara! That is/was awful, especially the way they didn't even hesitate before having sex, as if Cara's boyfriend of at least 2 years (?) doesn't exist.
I'll put in my own 2 cents about what's sad: people assuming that one can only dislike Laurel or Oliver/Laurel due to being an Olicity shipper.
I don't and have never shipped Olicity, although I'm not opposed to the idea, depending on how it's written. I dislike Laurel as an individual, not as an obstacle to Oliver romancing Felicity. I find her a poorly written, inconsistent, unlikable character who adds nothing to the show, and Cassidy's performance mediocre at best. As for O/L as a couple, again, the problem isn't Olicity. I see zero chemistry between the two actors. When Laurel was with Tommy, she would light up and smile. They were cute together. But Amell and Cassidy can't produce even the slightest spark, which further cements the casting fail with Laurel's character.
Should the writers get their shit together and start writing Laurel the way they do everyone else, my opinion will change accordingly. This isn't some kind of hate on principal because I view Laurel and Felicity as competitors over Ollie's heart. There's nothing I loathe more than shipping wars, actually.
Did you watch The O.C. by any chance? Because the whole doom and gloom vibe of Oliver and Laurel kinda reminds me of Ryan and Marissa, another relationship that was supposed to be "star-crossed" but came off as toxic. The actors didn't lack chemistry as much Amell and Cassidy do, but it was one of those "enough of your angst and misery already!" couples. Then, after Marissa died in the end of S3, enter Taylor, Ryan's quirky, somewhat insane but also sweet and hilarious new girlfriend. Suddenly he's smiling all over the place and having a good time.
I did!! I did watch The O.C. omg, that was a good show. I didn't bother to watch it til after the series was over. Then as i was watching on the internet, i kept thinking, How come i never bother to watch this while it was on the air?? It had some great storylines! Wow. I can't remember too much of it now. But i know what you're talking about. I didn't like Ryan and Marissa, i did in the first season, maybe the second, but afterwards, i didn't care much. My OTP in that show was Seth and Summer. I loved them. And i wanted a Captain Oats. lol
You got that right. That's not all. They are so obsessed with Oliver and Felicity. I just can't picture Oliver with Felicity. He's been with other woman and he cheated on Laurel in their relationship with her sister. What makes them think Olivier will be tied down to Felicity. I am so glad they are going to show more Laurel in upcoming episodes. Hope the writers don't go and screw her us as usually. Bring back the tough Laurel that was shown in season 1.
Sorry when a guy is pinning you to the floor, there is no flirtation. Would you like if a guy said that to you while he is holding you against the floor? And yes is disturbing that young womans think that is flirtation.
I like the way you talk like your word is the true. "WE DONT SHIP SQ" WTF are you a cult or something? I know some people that ship CS and SQ so try to talk on your behalf next time. And don´t generalize an entire fandom is very rude. I ship SQ and think that saying that if you don´t ship them is Homophobic is stupid.
I can't believe I missed this poll. Barney and Robin are such a forced couple that it kind of takes me out of the show. The one time a ship can actually ruin a show is when the entire final season takes place at their wedding. Ugh. Oh, wait, I mean: Awwwwwww. That's a thing we do now, right?
You are just so insecure and obsessed Olicity fans, Oliver/Laurel hardly have like 10 minutes so far this season with each other and there has been no hint of romance, worst couple really?, they don't even have screentime to be deserving of such honors. So why do you get so hateful, you aren't satisfied with what you have, are you really that threatened. Aren't you getting what you want, the show is pretty much the Olicity show this season, just the way you like it.
Lets not kidd ourselves, you may dislike Laurel, Laurel/Oliver but its 100x heightened because of your obsession with Felicity/Olicity. You guys care too much for something you claim to hate, you wouldn't have such strong feeling if they were siblings for sure or Laurel was his sister/relative. You are getting the lion's share of what you want yet still continue to excessively complain about scraps and crumbs of something you dislike, please that not rational at all. Its irrational hatred and insecurity.
Hey i didn't make the poll. And i sure as hell didn't write the script. It is what it is this season, i didn't ask for anything. I went with it. How many times do i have to say I don't like Laurel b/c i'm an Olicity fan??? Apparently more than 100 times, b/c you guys just don't seem to get it the first 50 times. Let it go already!! This is the worst couples poll, and CLEARLY i am not the only one who thinks so. Again for the umpteenth time, I DOOOOO NOTTTTT CAREEEEE FORRRR LAURELLLL B/CCCCC SHEEEEE BRINGSSSSS NOTHINGGGG TOOOO THEEEEE SHOWWWWWW! Her and Oliver don't go well together. I liked her with Tommy TBH. And once he died, she just got more and more B-O-R-I-N-G!! The writers write her terribly, and she's not doing well with her acting chops. She's dull dull dull. I have great hopes for my Olicity so you can save your little "insecurity" speech.
I know that GA and BC are meant to be endgame, idc about that, b/c that's how it's suppose to be, BUT I want Laurel to actually become the character she's meant to be, and she has NONE of the characteristics she is suppose to have. It's the second season already, and she still has no chemistry with any of the cast. Again she was OKAY in season 1, tolerable even. But she became more bland. And her character stands still. I don't understand why none of you can see that. I love everyone on this show except for her. Which AGAIN i say is sad, b/c i like BC!! And as a MAJOR character, she should have more that a 20% fanbase. It's ridiculous is what it is.. She has done nothing in the past yr and half to make me like her. And believe me when i say, i have tried. The entire first season i did. But it's season 2, enough is enough. AGAIN, she has one last time to redeem herself, and the ONLY thing that would make her likable is if she actually started to embrace the character she's meant to be, and the only way that'll happen if something dramatic happened to her family (although i hope not b/c i like Sara and Quentin).
I wouldn't even mind if she started something with Sebastian Blood, just as long as he can make her interesting. B/c her and Oliver are so damaged with each other right now that it's depressing. He does nothing for her, and she does nothing for him. IF you ship them, then by all means, go for it. I'm not telling you who not to ship. WTH...we all have our own ships. And i care for a lot of the STORYLINES, everyone has had an interesting one EXCEPT for Laurel. And THAT is the god's honest truth!! The problem with you guys is that you're SO obsessed with our negative comments against Laurel, that you don't bother to see the positive comments we actually post about the show in general. How is that rational?? When they finally decide to do something with Laurel, then i'll give her praise, (when and if that day ever comes) Get off the defensive bench already. Get over it. Make of it what you will. But seriously all you have to do is look at the proof. But of course you won't see it, b/c you "love her so" smh. W/e i'm not gonna argue you with you or anyone else about this anymore. I was over this poll days ago. Guess we'll have to agree to disagree. And everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Sooo, enjoy the show. And do what the rest of us do, take the bad in with the good, ratings, comments, polls, etc. etc. etc.
two things. 1. Swan Queen is nothing but femslash shipper fantasy. Even the actors and writers don’t like being asked about it. 2. Regina took Emma’s child hood and tried to kill her multiple times, and Emma thinks Regina is a monster. They both love Henry, but that’s the only connection they have. They also like MEN. NOT WOMEN. It’s canon. Don’t want to accept it, then fine. But don’t say that other ships are just being used to make your ship look good.
Regina Mills is a rapist, all her fans seem to ignore that Graham gave no consent to her at all. Lana even, grossly I say, called him her boy toy but it is cannon fact she forced Graham to be her freaking sex slave. I love how you evil Regal, seem to ignore this fact! You guys can get off your freaking soap box now because Regina is a hundred times more worse than Hook will ever be. And what is even more gross is that she has no regrets, she would have killed Emma as a newborn infant if she didn't make it into the wardrobe.
But its the truth, SQ is never going to happen its a fanon/crack ship.... Hook is not equal to Regina, she kills/tortures people just to do it, to inflict pain because she didn't get her way 😝 Colin O'donoghue has actually, said that most of Hooks reputation is like that of The dread pirate Roberts from the princess bride, its mostly just hearsay to inflict fear..... Even if Emma was a lesbian, she never go for Regina! Their relationship is common between adoptive and biological mothers, very like the one my two moms have(i am adopted). No lesbian subtext or queer baiting, just accurate portrayal. But I guess using SQ logic they must be harboring true romantic feelings for each other though, my moms have eye sex all the time and have been in love with each other for the past 20 years. Additionally thanks for proving me right on Evil Regal ignoring that Regina Mills is a RAPIST!
Sorry did I ever said Regina is a saint? Very far from it. why do you put words in my mouth. If you have to bring another character to defend Hook that show your lack or arguments. You are in a soap box not me.
Forced is this nonsense that ppl keep saying on and on again, rather then seeing the actual show and build up and character development
Emma/Hook - guess what there is build up in their moments!!! thats how its been build up, and which two characters fit together and build each other up, give HOPE!
He always going to be a love interesst lol, didnt u see when Emma and Hook met, and when he let go of his revenge coz he came to a realization it was an end and not an beginning, when he saw Rumpel had love in his life and moved on. Thats how Hook slowly let go and CHOSE to be a part of something and to have hope (this shows biggest message is HOPE). Also Hook was a romantic kinda character when his whole notion of revenge was based on avenging loss love,
This show is about love and hope, what did you think these characters were going to do, dwelll in darkness lol
You know what? you not worth it, if you think that of Regina fine I think Hook is Rude and RAPIST! And don't worry honey. And the next time had the pants to say that with your name user. Btw the name Hooker say all ;)
Where do I put words into your mouth sweetheart? Oh I was just letting people know who is the cannon rapist in the show! That what hook said was not a rape joke, honestly you guys grasp at straws!
Obviously you have no counter argument, and that's fine but don't act all high and mighty if you have nothing to back it up. Like saying Hook is a rapist but have nothing to support this and I have cannon facts to support my argument that REGINA DID in fact RAPE Graham multiple times FOR YEARS!
Yea I don't have a user name, because unlike you my ship is cannon and I don't have to complain in the comment section of sites like this!
You like our name, Colin gave it to us and want to know something ABC tried to get him to change it but he said Hell no to that shit! And let them know that a 'Hooker' is a small Irish coasting cutter-rigged boat
"all her fans""I love how you evil Regal, seem to ignore this fact" your words not mine. So yes you were putting words in my mouth. Either way for me it was crearly a rape joke, for you is not, fine.
this is just your opinion...many people sees chemistry with Hook and Emma, some people don't, ok that happens, doesn't mean it is law...is just an opinion...and many media folks sees it, tv critics sees it, fans sees it...so...the same way some people see chemistry between Emma and Regina and I don't see any
Hook is flirty...he say things and he knows is goin' to annoy Emma...he said that he will win her heart because she will want him and not by any thing else...he jokes, but never tried to force anything on her so please, don't. the song one way or another is rapist as well??? "one way or another i'm gonna get you" ...u must understand that many things, are flirts, are jokes, are figure of speech, or u can't live at all cause many things in this world is so foward as "i like to do enjoyable activities with a woman on her back" the thing is he never forced himself on Emma...he always respects her and believe in her...SHE was the one who kissed him in the first place...
he have the same flirt thing goin' on as Damon from TVD, the thing is Damon in season 1 forced himself on Caroline to take advantage of her and Hook never did that...
sometimes i joke with my friends about guys like "ok if i grab this guy..." doesn't mean i'm gonna attack him or do something...cause is a joke...so please, stop..just stop...
Klaus and Caroline, it makes no sense at all... it's a stupid couple created for the fans, as everything in TVD, this show is worse every year, I chose them, for obvious reasons
I agree, I'm so over this non sens of Captain Swan, Hook is so ridiculous when he's in love, he litteraly pisses me off ! Fortunately, I love how the other characters have evolved during the third season, the plot in Neverland was cool ;)
sorry don't think this is really worst couples. I love emma and neal. love their chemistry, kindred spirit and banter. love that neal had like the suckiest of all childhoods and is still awesome. also enjoy damon and elena
Don't really see the point of this poll.... Worst is a big word and I think it pushes people to say why they dislike (which is okay) or why they hate the ship (which is not). Everybody have a different opinion. For exemple the chemistry, the story... Ship your ship and love it :)
Or maybe they're watching the show just fine and simply get something else out of it? I don't understand why it's often so incredibly hard for shippers to understand that as viewers we'll all have different reactions to the material and it's very much possible for someone to watch a show and have a different interpretation of and reaction canon material.
all of this internal struggle within a week? oh boy, he's spent centuries trying to seek his revenge and in a matter of days he forgets everything and he's suddenly in love? BS I don't like how they built it
agree...they's trying to make hook look like the hero...but he's not -.- 2x04 promo said hook was a villain worse than rumple (AHAHAH who were they kidding?) and now he's a saint cause IN A WEEK he decided out of the blue that he spent centuries looking for revenge pointlessly and he doesn't want it anymore... o.O that's not character development, that's rushing things
What is the deal with Caroline and Damon? Let me address the elephant in the room before we go any further. Damon did not rape Caroline. I don’t care how you twist what happened, Damon did not rape her. I am talking about what is defined as “an act of sexual intercourse that is forced upon a person”. I am not going to go into “mind rape” or “blood rape” or whatever other nonsense people have used to define what happened because no. Words have meaning and I will not be a party to the degradation of a very serious subject. If you use the argument it was rape because he used compulsion so she had no fear, then Caroline also raped Matt. Matt was compelled a number of times while they were together and not a single person calls it rape.
I consider rape to be a situation where one party cannot give consent to sexual intercourse, because they don't genuinely have the option of saying "no".
The first time Caroline had sex with Damon, it wasn't rape, no. She may not have known he was a vampire but it was still her choice to go to bed with him. It's also not rape if you sleep with a serial killer, a cousin, a married person, or whatever without knowing. The fact that you wouldn't have slept with them if you had known the truth doesn't matter; you consented to sex.
HOWEVER, when Caroline and Damon are in bed, he vamps out and bites her. She screams and is terrified. In subsequent scenes where we see them together, he compels her not to be afraid of him. He did the same thing to Andie after revealing to her that he was a killer. Katherine did the same thing to Stefan.
Does anyone doubt that if their mind was free of compulsion, Caroline and Andie WOULD have been terrified of Damon after realizing he's a vampire/killer and would've run for their lives rather than sleep with him? Same with Stefan and Katherine. By compelling their victims not to fear them, Damon and Katherine removed their ability to say no, in a situation where they almost certainly would have (all three reacted with terror). If you don't understand that, you're clearly hung on the old definition of rape where it only counts if the perpetrator violently forces the victim into the act. If Damon's (and Katherine's) actions are not rape, then neither is drugging someone or getting them drunk to severely lower their inhibitions before revealing that you're a psychopath, killer or something of that ilk. Taking away the other person's ability to say no is rape, period.
Alternately, of course, you're simply among the Damon apologists who are captivated by his "bad boy" persona, baby blues and great abs, which are a sufficient excuse for murder, rape, abuse, trying to force people to become vampires against their will (Elena) and whatnot. Well, I'm sorry to tell you, but while Ian Somerhalder is a very attractive man, *I* will not be a party to a male character's horrible actions being swept under the rug because women everywhere have the hots for him (while female characters get called "bitch", "skank", "whore" and whatnot for the slightest transgressions).
By the way, I hope you understand from the above why Caroline did not rape Matt. She compelled him, which in itself is a questionable act, yes, but never in such a way that he was unable to say no to having sex with her. It's doubtful if they slept together at all, actually, we only saw them start to undress one time before Matt's mom interrupted. Even A) Caroline had revealed to Matt she was a vampire, B) Matt was clearly terrified and she had to compel him into relaxing, and C) they proceeded to have sex, THEN Caroline would be as much a rapist as Damon and Katherine. That's not what happened.
YES! THIS!!! I love Felicity, but I still feel like Laurel has the potential to be a really great character, and that she and Oliver belong together :)
I'm sorry but i have to disagree, especially on Andie who wanted him to "bootiecall" her or whatever is the right word in english. I'm not sure where you are from, but where i am from and in my country, what i said is the definition of rape. Also, vampires are pretty much all rapist if you think that way, and not only in TVD who is just a simple CW show on a love triangle. The mythology of vampires is based on the ground of the devil, evil acts, sexual things often non consensual. (Also i'm not sure what Daroline has to do with Delena? I didn't like Delena very much either this season, but it's because i'm mostly for Bamon now.) But i’m getting to that. Damon was a manipulative, abusive asshole to Caroline and she had every right to distrust and hate him for a long time. She doesn’t even need to be his friend now and could continue to hate him for how he treated her, although that is not going to have the effect she thinks it will. Buddha stated, “Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.” There is more truth in that sentence than I have ever seen in any other in my life. Every time Caroline has one of her outbursts over Damon you can see the hatred eating at her. It brings her no comfort other than an idiotic veneer of superiority that is an utter crock.
Emma gave birth to Henry before she turned 18 and was sentenced as a minor because she also didn't turn 18 until after leaving prison. Since her sentence was 11 months, that puts her at 17 and 1 month when they met. You could also subtract at least a month for her trial to be docketed, putting her at just turned 17. It appears that Emma was with BagelFire for at least a month or two---given the capers they pulled, plans they made and times NealPerson had already tried to ditch her, so she was 16 when they met, In Oregon, that's considered statutory rape.
BTW, I see Neal not only finally got nominated for an award, but is winning! And it's sooooo much better than sexiest men of 2013 TV, Best Hook Up, Best Chemistry or Best Kiss. Worst Couple is a true honor!
Where's Daniel and Emily (Revenge)?! Their wedding night was a disaster!!
I am surprised Carrie and Brody are on this list. She went above and beyond for him and he bravely followed through her plan and even stopped lying. They should be in a poll for best couple.
This whole comment is BS. You're implying that Belle was targeted by Hook BECAUSE she was a woman, which is completely false and you know it. She was targeted in revenge for Rumple ripping out Milah's heart. It's that simple. Her being a woman had NOTHING to do with it. Hook had no hatred for Belle personally or because of her gender. No matter who Rumple's current love was, be it man or woman, Hook would have targeted them to hurt Rumple. You're trying to make it sound like Hook is some kind of misogynist when that is FAR from the case. If Belle was a man, no one would give a crap about Hook hitting her, and that's the sad truth. It wasn't because she's a woman that what he did was bad, it's because when he knocked her out she was defenseless. It wasn't about her sex. He took aurora's heart because he saw a way to use it as leverage, NOT because Aurora was a woman. Like, really...it's one thing to hate a character, it's another to twist his actions to portray them in a way that doesn't exist, and is actually really harmful. Hook has done several bad things on the show, but none were done because he hates women, and his list of bad deeds is very small compared to Regina's. I don't think I need to point that out. Regina has killed who knows how many people, men and women, innocent and not. Let's not eve go where you're going.
yes when I am angry i let people to died on a cell...why bring Regina to this is pretty obvious she has done worst than Hook, so? I am talking about Hook here. "Are you saying Emma would kiss a man she felt uncomfortable with" no i never say that -.-
"the other is a guy that had tried to kill her several times in the past week before deciding he loved her."
u are clearly watching other show....Hook tried to kill RUMPLE... he fought Emma, cause he was focused on his revenge - everything he did was 'cause of that -...and she betrayed him in 2x06...he said she could trust him, but she have issues 'cause of Neal.. in the season 2 finale we saw Hook questioning himself and his actions...he saw an opportunity to live for something else than his revenge and took him...he focused in help Emma get Henry back, saved Charming's life and started to feel something else than desire for revenge, he started to fall in love with Emma and finally move on from his last love (from 300 years ago literally)
and now he's the one who found her and he's the one who's gonna help her remember everything...let's not forget the same happened with the Charmings...he was engaged to someone else against his will, and she was running from the Evil Queen...they fought each other (she kicked his ass and he kicked hers many times) but they fell in love, so yeah this can happen and yeah this can be love... makes more sense than many things people support on this show...
Hahaha love this ^^^! And exactly, it could be more easily tolerated if I wasn't stuck at their wedding for 24 episodes. The best episodes of the season are the ones that haven't focused on Barney and Robin almost at all. And yes, "Awwwww" is the thing we do now, but usually it follows something a bit more mean-spirited in nature haha! ;-)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Joel and Zoe (Hart Of Dixie)
ReplyDeleteWent with Oliver&Laurel and Klaus&Caroline. Also wanted to go with Emma&Neil. Others that were missing: Emma&Hook, Emily&Aiden, Coach&CeCe, Stephen&Cara, Kurt&Blaine,
ReplyDeleteExactly! Zoe has more chemistry with George and/or Wade. Even more chemistry with Lemon or Annabeth, for god's sake. Surprised that he is still there after a few episodes.
ReplyDeleteThe worst? Most 'will they / won't they' on television, they're excruciating, especially in dramas, and people who like that (or, even worse, who keep watching a show mostly because of that) are the AT&T of people.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, I don't care about most shows in the poll, but I don't get why Ichabod/Katrina would be a particularly bad couple... because some people are rooting for him to be with Abbie, even though he's married (and still very much fond of his wife) and, wait, it doesn't add any dramatic value to the story whatsoever?
Happy New Year everyone!
I went with Oliver & Laurel and Fitz and Olivia because I still watch these 2 shows otherwise I would have voted for the pairings of Barney & Robin and Cristina & Owen but I didn't feel l should vote for them since I gave up on the shows in 2012.
ReplyDeleteOther Pairings that didnt/dont sit well with me;
Rayna & Liam (Nashville)
Alexis & Pi (Castle)
Alicia & Peter (The Good Wife)
CeCe & Coach (New Girl)
Well, Damon and Elena. I ship them, but their relationship this season was disappointing. Loved them till s4 and I was excruciatingly happy with the s4 finale, and I am still holding out hope that they'll get a better storyline in the other half of season 5, or at least share some real relationship moments assuming they get back together.
ReplyDeleteOther:
Coach & Cece - New Girl
Neal & Rebecca - White Collar
Jace & Daphne - Switched at Birth
May & Ward - Agents of SHIELD..if they're counted as a couple that is
For me Emma & Hook is the worst couple
ReplyDeleteKyle and Zoe.
ReplyDeleteonly saw the first episode of scandal disliked it for it's political bias (down click and flame all you like i won't say anything to change it) and didn't like the way fitz came on to olivia when she clearly didn't want his advances. just rubs me wrong.
ReplyDeletefinally brings me to Arrow, where Laurel is too icy than hot than back again for my liking. i can see why Olicity is popular and hope that the best couple and best chemistry wins out in the end. 24fan out.
Emma and Hook!
ReplyDeleteThe only ones I absolutely hated were any of Emma Swan's badly written love interests. One is her statutory rapist who abandoned her and the other is a guy that had tried to kill her several times in the past week before deciding he loved her.
ReplyDeleteSOOOOOO happy Cristina/Owen is over though. He's probably the worst character ever on Grey's Anatomy. And that includes the interns of Seasons 4 and 5.
For me the chemistry is just not there this year for Damon and Elena and I have never seen any between Cat & Vincent.
ReplyDeleteAm not seeing the point of Joel at all, very lame stories. Love her with either Wade(first choice) or George.
ReplyDeleteEmma & Neal and Cristina & Owen.
ReplyDeletethey are not a couple...technically lol
ReplyDeleteI don't watch Once Upon a Time anymore (an episode here and there) but going by the fandom, Emma/Neal should win, apparently Neal is not well liked at all.
ReplyDeleteDean and Castiel
ReplyDeleteLOL just kidding!
Oliver and Laurel
ReplyDeleteDamon and Elena
Vincent/Tori (Beauty and the Beast)
ReplyDeleteEmma and Neal are so cute together, they should not be on that list!
ReplyDeleteothers Emma and Hook Joel and Zoe Emily and Aiden Emily and Daniel Stephen and Cara
ReplyDeleteAnd Emma & Neal neither lol
ReplyDeleteyep, but at least they were a couple in the past lol ^^ colin has more chemistry with jmo than mrj but i just don't see the show doing captainswan.
ReplyDeleteAww, I love Ichabod and Katrina, even though I suspect in by the shows end he will end up sharing the remainder of his life with Abbie...
ReplyDeleteHmmm not any on the list....
I miss Graham!!
ReplyDeleteNo shock Laurel/Oliver is winning lol.
ReplyDeletehahaha i knew it!
ReplyDeleteCristina and Owen, Emma/Hook, and Emma/Neal
ReplyDeleteMy Top10 in no particular order:
ReplyDeleteLuke/Rayna (Nashville)
Laurel/Oliver (Arrow)
Stephen/Cara (The Tomorrow People)
Lucy/Raj (The Big Bang Theory)
Peri/Spence ( Devious Maids)
Angie/Junior (Under the Dome)
Jenna/Colin (Awkward)
Victor/Joanna (Witches of East End)
Ethan/Vivian (Mastes of Sex)
Cristina/Owen (Grey's Anatomy)
Are you still watching the Girls? I tried watching it but got bored one and a half episodes in... Does it get better?
ReplyDeleteReally? to that you call your chemistry? lol. I think there is more chemistry between Hook and Tink. and frankly I do not care about anything the captain issue swan
ReplyDeleteReally? to that you call your chemistry? I think there is more chemistry between Colin and Rose (tinkerbell). and frankly I don't care about anything about captain swan
ReplyDeletelol it's kind of sad that this is the only kind of poll Laurel/Oliver make it to.
ReplyDeleteKlaus and Caroline. Thank god the two are on different shows. Lets hope it stays that way.
ReplyDeleteBefore even seeing the choices, Damon and Elena were my first choice. Then Caroline and Klaus, but I didn't choose them ultimately because they never have been a couple and most likely never will be, just the idea of them is nauseating though. So, my second choice, I chose Olivia and Fitz. HM would be Laurel and Oliver.
ReplyDeleteI also agree with someone naming Joel and Zoe, they are the worst. Joel's an okay guy and I don't dislike him, but I hate him with Zoe. They have no chemistry, it's worse than Zoe and George.
Damon Elena
ReplyDeleteIts kind of sad how much joy this gives Olicity fans, how much time and energy you guys invest into this.
ReplyDeleteReally if you have the best couple, isn't it enough just to know that, than to have to prove something by voting excessively for your ship and against others on polls.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand how Emma/Neal are any worse than other ships that include Emma? (and I'm a Swan Queen shipper, so I DO see all the hate all ships get and worse). At least his character arc isn't JUST EMMA... Unlike some...
I've liked the dynamic between them, i mean I don't want to see them being endgame, but they are no way the 'worst' in my opinion. :))
Nahh, it actually makes me smile to see how bad the ship is. I don't invest in hating it since *my* ship is awesome by itself but I'm sure going to enjoy small pleasures.
ReplyDeleteI really shipped Carrie and Brody in S1 but ever since then that pairing has dragged Homeland down and didn't really work well
ReplyDeleteAgree about Carrie & Brody.
ReplyDeleteto be honnest, i feel like hook has chemistry with everyone and everything !
ReplyDeleteagree, less Emma.
ReplyDeleteI get the people that don't like Katrina. She's bland, never actually does anything, and is only used as a plot device. I can't get invested in a character like that. Maybe once she escapes purgatory, but until then I'm with the people that just doesn't care.
ReplyDeleteStill, my votes went to Oliver/Laurel and Barney/Robin.
I agree. Its only the Olicity fans that don't like Oliver/Laurel. Its not like people dislike the pairing on its own merits and disliked it before Felicity ever appeared on the show and interacted with Oliver. That would be insane!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, you just sound kind of pathetic.
Hook/Emma is the worst for me. It's so poor written, and Hook's character has been completely erased to turn him into a pathetic lovesick puppy dog. Give me the asshole villain with shades of gray or give me nothing.
ReplyDeleteI only started to REALLY miss Graham when I realized how shitty all of Emma's romantic options are. Reanimate Graham's corpse or GTFO! lol
ReplyDeleteI find it hilarious!!
ReplyDeleteI think they're both healthier without the other.
ReplyDeleteI'm totally with you on Alicia/Peter - I'm always surprised that there are so many people who love them.
ReplyDeleteI agree completely.
ReplyDeleteCharming and Snow, never had I wanted a character to die so badly. Wait, Jack from Lost. But thats it.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what you guys are talking about. I don't watch this show, but I just wanted to tell you, I thought this comment was hilarious. Lmao
ReplyDeleteI watched the first two seasons on a wim through HBO on demand when the second season was airing. I really just don't like it. There was maybe one or two episodes in the second season I could appreciate, but on the whole it's just not my kind of show. It just doesn't feel like there's any real purpose to it, because I don't feel like any of them ever learn anything lol!
ReplyDeleteglad you enjoyed it ;)
ReplyDeleteSame with me. I stopped watching on a regular basis, but I'll tune in once in a while.
ReplyDeleteAww, why be so mean as to only let us vote for 2?
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess my priorities are the following 2 "ships":
Honorable mentions go to:
Oliver/Felicity are my worst love them platonically as a couple HELL NO!
ReplyDeleteI'd rather see Oliver with Felicity than with Laurel, just because she's meant to become the black canary because of the comics It doesn't mean that the producers should go that path...
ReplyDeleteEmma/Hook. I have never seen a more forced couple in my life. They basically completely re write Hook so he could be a love interest.
ReplyDeleteActually Neal is the only reason why I watched S2 but I quit the show because Hook and Hook/Emma suck and they are getting lots of screentime. And loud fans doesn't equal what the majority of the audience thinks.
ReplyDeleteI've seen 2 episodes with Neal, one where he sacrificed himself n the portal to save Emma and the other where Neal was working with Robin Hood and Mulan to capture the shadow so he could travel to Neverland to save Henry.
ReplyDeleteI thought he was cool but I don't really know that much else about him.
ReplyDeletePlease explain to me when Hook has tried to kill Emma. (Don't get me wrong, I liked Emma/Graham.) But I don't remember a time Hook has tried to hurt Emma intentionally. He even threw the sword fight for her. (I mean she has never picked up a sword but managed to beat a pirate.)
ReplyDeleteLoud fans?!
ReplyDeleteTricking her into a cage with no exit by violating her friend and leaving her there to die. Helping people who intended to kill her in numerous plans (Cora, Greg & Tamara, Regina, then Greg & Tamara again). Stealing their only method of escape and sailing away from Storybrooke where she 1000% would have died if she didn't save herself with Regina.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't really call it 'throwing' a sword fight considering he was so lovely about making rape jokes while on top of her.
There's been a lot of hate from Captain Swan fans towards the actors, producers and writers too, let's not kid ourselves.
ReplyDelete'Rape' jokes? Most people would call that flirting. I think you should look up the definition of rape because saying He'd rather do more enjoyable activities with a woman on her back and 'When I jab you with my sword you''ll feel it' doesn't sound like a rape joke to me. Locking her in the cage, she did the same to him. Plus I think he knew she would find a way out. He knew she wouldn't give up until she got her son back. Also, Hook allies himself with whoever would have got him his revenge on The Dark One. Which he gave up to HELP Emma save her son.
ReplyDeleteI'm not saying that CS fans are perfect but I hear of more incidents caused by SQ fans than CS.
ReplyDeleteWow. WOW. That is really disturbing.
ReplyDeletePlease explain to me how that is disturbing?
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry but these sort of polls are what start ship wars off which end up getting out of control and upsetting people.
ReplyDeleteNo thanks, I only have had bad experience with Hook apologists.
ReplyDeleteKlaus and Camille.
ReplyDeleteI admit that S2 of Beauty and the Beast messed up with VinCat's chemistry big time, but I think you also didn't see S1.
ReplyDeleteWrong, I have seen every ep of Beauty and thought 2 was just a tiny bit better than 1, but still not good.
ReplyDeleteworst couple Elijah and Hayley
ReplyDeleteSorry but Emma and Hook. I just see it too forced from emmas side. Hook is pretty cool and I hreat guy I think
ReplyDeleteEma and Neal tbh, i dont want her with Hook either i want her alone!
ReplyDeleteWow!! I love this poll!! And why am I not surprised Laurel and Oliver are at the top winning. Obviously I voted for them. I am just tired of Lauriver. Bring on Olicity. PLEASE! because Lauriver is just BORING!
ReplyDeleteLeah and Arizona (GA)
ReplyDeleteSnow white and charming (OUAT) (I hate them so much!)
Just like the awful Olicity cult man i hope Felicity dies a horrible death
ReplyDeleteYep i agree but you won't stop them
ReplyDeleteIts really sad that you go to EVERYTHING with Laurel and spread your vile hate everywhere you go
ReplyDeleteIts not like Olicity is anything to talk about i mean Felicity has a crush on Ollie and Barry and Ollie couldn't give a sh*t about it
ReplyDeleteBuffy and Angel were the most boring couple ever
ReplyDeleteSorry David their are people that like Laurel and Oliver i was a Shado man myself but how about showing some respect to others for a change if possible
ReplyDeleteYou are truly an awful person aren't you
ReplyDelete90% of people are naive and stupid like yourself so yeah no surprise
ReplyDeleteLOL!
ReplyDeleteHave serious issues with:
ReplyDelete- OUAT, Neal and Emma: I do like Hook and Emma but I can take them or leave them, I am not big on it, so that's not my problem. There is just something about the Neal character that bugs me (maybe it's the actor, I think he is the weakest link on the cast). Also, I lost any respect for the relationship when he was engaged to Tamara and professing his love for her the whole time and then the day after was acting like he had loved Emma forever and ever. That's just BS, I will never support that
- TVD, Klaus and Caroline: I really disliked Klauss on TVD for everything he had done there to everyone which made a relationship with Caroline ridiculous in my mind IMO. I've grown to like him a lot in The Originals for what they are doing with his character there but it's just a big fat No with Caroline because it would be ridiculous for her character to be with someone like him after everything he did to her and her friends
- TGW, Alicia and Peter: Just no, no and no again.
Others:
- True Blood: Sookie and Bill
- The Tomorrow People: Stephen and Kara
- The Tomorrow People: Stephen and Astrid
- The Newsroom: Maggie and Don
- Scandal: Quinn and Charlie or Quinn and Huck
- Grey's Anatomy: Christina and Shane
- Revenge: I like Emily and Jack less and less and Emily and Ayden more and more.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm not from Abubababukistan.
ReplyDeletechristina and owen... makes no sense- and she mostly just screws him over
ReplyDeleteI guess i'll stick with my decision then.
ReplyDeleteThey made it very clear when he DID, in fact, push the button to detonate his vest in the Season 1 finale, and only a few loose wires prevented the mass murder he intended to commit. Carrie allowing herself to be with someone like that....
ReplyDeleteI couldn't tell if by "that" you were referring to the preceding sentence, but if you were, well Carrie never knew that. Only that he had on the vest, Dana called him and he chose not to do it.
Steve and catherine in hawwaii 5.0 they are so boring
ReplyDeleteYup. I burn puppies and feed on the flesh of chilrden.
ReplyDeleteBarney/Robin got my vote. And basically every couple in OUAT, but especially Emma/Hook. Awful. Don't care for Emma/Neal that much either, or Charming/Snow...I hope they do a much better job when they get around to Regina and Robin Hood.
ReplyDeleteSays you. And they're a lot more interesting than Oliver and Laurel. And ftr, I like Buffy Angel, and Buffy and Spike.
ReplyDeleteLmfao!!
ReplyDeletehahaha first inform yourself of the facts sending hate for our ship because your ship just send hate.
ReplyDeleteand btw, chemistry? Really? see more chemistry between Tink and Hook.
ReplyDeleteNow just because he wants to get into the pants and Emma is a Hero?
ReplyDeleteExcuse me, I'm not ruining the shows, and shipping is not all i care about. So don't assume b/c you read my negative comments, that you assume it's all i care about. But HELLO!! This is the WORST COUPLE POLL!! What should i comment about, the action in the show??
ReplyDeleteIt seems to me, that all you concentrate on are my negative comments.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, Carrie didn't know that specific detail - that he actually went through with detonating the vest and it only failed due to happenstance. However, we, the audience, did know, so asking us to root for Carrie and Brody after that was more than a bit problematic. (And I think he still looks bad enough from Carrie's PoV even without said detail.)
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing what she means is that Neal was technically hundreds of years old when he got together with Emma, because he's Bae and was in Neverland/wherever for a long time. I agree that he isn't a statutory rapist, though, because once Emma was a above the age of consent, she could have consensual sex with anyone no matter how old they were. (I don't like Neal and Emma together but that's for other reasons.)
ReplyDeleteWORD @ Stephen and Cara! That is/was awful, especially the way they didn't even hesitate before having sex, as if Cara's boyfriend of at least 2 years (?) doesn't exist.
ReplyDeleteI'll put in my own 2 cents about what's sad: people assuming that one can only dislike Laurel or Oliver/Laurel due to being an Olicity shipper.
ReplyDeleteI don't and have never shipped Olicity, although I'm not opposed to the idea, depending on how it's written.
ReplyDeleteI did!! And i wanted a Captain Oats. lol
ReplyDeletereally oliver and laurel the worst couple. you guys are fucken haters
ReplyDeleteYou got that right.
ReplyDeleteSorry when a guy is pinning you to the floor, there is no flirtation.
ReplyDeleteWould you like if a guy said that to you while he is holding you against the floor?
And yes is disturbing that young womans think that is flirtation.
I like the way you talk like your word is the true. "WE DONT SHIP SQ" WTF are you a cult or something? I know some people that ship CS and SQ so try to talk on your behalf next time.
ReplyDeleteAnd don´t generalize an entire fandom is very rude.
ReplyDeleteYou are just so insecure and obsessed Olicity fans, Oliver/Laurel hardly have like 10 minutes so far this season with each other and there has been no hint of romance, worst couple really?, they don't even have screentime to be deserving of such honors. So why do you get so hateful, you aren't satisfied with what you have, are you really that threatened. Aren't you getting what you want, the show is pretty much the Olicity show this season, just the way you like it.
ReplyDeleteLets not kidd ourselves, you may dislike Laurel, Laurel/Oliver but its 100x heightened because of your obsession with Felicity/Olicity.
ReplyDeleteI know that GA and BC are meant to be endgame, idc about that, b/c that's how it's suppose to be, BUT I want Laurel to actually become the character she's meant to be, and she has NONE of the characteristics she is suppose to have.
ReplyDeletehahahha yes yes whatever you want, but the fact that Hook is equal to Regina, and you want they together? hahaha How we are in the world!
ReplyDeletebtw you keep with you pathetic reason about They also like MEN. NOT WOMEN. It's so old ;) nice day honey
Regina Mills is a rapist, all her fans seem to ignore that Graham gave no consent to her at all. Lana even, grossly I say, called him her boy toy but it is cannon fact she forced Graham to be her freaking sex slave.
ReplyDeleteI love how you evil Regal, seem to ignore this fact! You guys can get off your freaking soap box now because Regina is a hundred times more worse than Hook will ever be. And what is even more gross is that she has no regrets, she would have killed Emma as a newborn infant if she didn't make it into the wardrobe.
Worst couple - Emma and Neal for sure
ReplyDeleteAlso are they doing anything with Oliver/Laurel?
But its the truth, SQ is never going to happen its a fanon/crack ship....
ReplyDeleteHook is not equal to Regina, she kills/tortures people just to do it, to inflict pain because she didn't get her way 😝
Colin O'donoghue has actually, said that most of Hooks reputation is like that of The dread pirate Roberts from the princess bride, its mostly just hearsay to inflict fear.....
ReplyDeleteYou are in a soap box not me.
Forced is this nonsense that ppl keep saying on and on again, rather then seeing the actual show and build up and character development
ReplyDeleteEmma/Hook - guess what there is build up in their moments!!! thats how its been build up, and which two characters fit together and build each other up, give HOPE!
Btw the name Hooker say all ;)
ReplyDeleteWhere do I put words into your mouth sweetheart? Oh I was just letting people know who is the cannon rapist in the show! That what hook said was not a rape joke, honestly you guys grasp at straws!
ReplyDeleteObviously you have no counter argument, and that's fine but don't act all high and mighty if you have nothing to back it up. Like saying Hook is a rapist but have nothing to support this and I have cannon facts to support my argument that REGINA DID in fact RAPE Graham multiple times FOR YEARS!
ReplyDeleteYea I don't have a user name, because unlike you my ship is cannon and I don't have to complain in the comment section of sites like this!
You like our name, Colin gave it to us and want to know something ABC tried to get him to change it but he said Hell no to that shit! And let them know that a 'Hooker' is a small Irish coasting cutter-rigged boat
bye guest! nice day.
ReplyDelete"all her fans""I love how you evil Regal, seem to ignore this fact" your words not mine. So yes you were putting words in my mouth. Either way for me it was crearly a rape joke, for you is not, fine.
ReplyDeletethis is just your opinion...many people sees chemistry with Hook and Emma, some people don't, ok that happens, doesn't mean it is law...is just an opinion...and many media folks sees it, tv critics sees it, fans sees it...so...the same way some people see chemistry between Emma and Regina and I don't see any
ReplyDeleteHook is flirty...he say things and he knows is goin' to annoy Emma...he said that he will win her heart because she will want him and not by any thing else...he jokes, but never tried to force anything on her so please, don't.
ReplyDeletethe song one way or another is rapist as well??? "one way or another i'm gonna get you" ...u must understand that many things, are flirts, are jokes, are figure of speech, or u can't live at all cause many things in this world is so foward as "i like to do enjoyable activities with a woman on her back"
the thing is he never forced himself on Emma...he always respects her and believe in her...SHE was the one who kissed him in the first place...
he have the same flirt thing goin' on as Damon from TVD, the thing is Damon in season 1 forced himself on Caroline to take advantage of her and Hook never did that...
sometimes i joke with my friends about guys like "ok if i grab this guy..." doesn't mean i'm gonna attack him or do something...cause is a joke...so please, stop..just stop...
well,....way less people than SQ...every ship has someone hatin' something, but SQ - not everyone - but u know... is really crazy
ReplyDeleteKlaus and Caroline, it makes no sense at all... it's a stupid couple created for the fans, as everything in TVD, this show is worse every year, I chose them, for obvious reasons
ReplyDeleteI agree, I'm so over this non sens of Captain Swan, Hook is so ridiculous when he's in love, he litteraly pisses me off ! Fortunately, I love how the other characters have evolved during the third season, the plot in Neverland was cool ;)
ReplyDeleteDid I ever said that Hook try to force himself on Emma?
ReplyDeleteDoing a Rape joke is not = rapist
Never watch TVD so not gonna comment on that
Hook always respect her?...okay
Hook is one of the character that has been more disrecpecful to wamen imo
He backhanded belle with his hook and knocked her out.
Told Emma she was shriveled and used up right before he left her and three others to starve to death in a cell.
He took Aurora’s heart and gave it to Cora. Or when he shot Belle in her back.
sorry don't think this is really worst couples. I love emma and neal. love their chemistry, kindred spirit and banter. love that neal had like the suckiest of all childhoods and is still awesome. also enjoy damon and elena
ReplyDeleteEmma and Hook (Once Upon A Time)
ReplyDeleteCaptainSwan Once Upon A Time
ReplyDeleteDon't really see the point of this poll.... Worst is a big word and I think it pushes people to say why they dislike (which is okay) or why they hate the ship (which is not). Everybody have a different opinion. For exemple the chemistry, the story... Ship your ship and love it :)
ReplyDeleteOr maybe they're watching the show just fine and simply get something else out of it? I don't understand why it's often so incredibly hard for shippers to understand that as viewers we'll all have different reactions to the material and it's very much possible for someone to watch a show and have a different interpretation of and reaction canon material.
ReplyDeleteall of this internal struggle within a week? oh boy, he's spent centuries trying to seek his revenge and in a matter of days he forgets everything and he's suddenly in love? BS I don't like how they built it
ReplyDeleteaaand I ship swanfire
agree
ReplyDeleteagree...they's trying to make hook look like the hero...but he's not -.- 2x04 promo said hook was a villain worse than rumple (AHAHAH who were they kidding?) and now he's a saint cause IN A WEEK he decided out of the blue that he spent centuries looking for revenge pointlessly and he doesn't want it anymore... o.O that's not character development, that's rushing things
ReplyDeleteSleeping Warrior... It's not a couple but is fanservice -_-
ReplyDeleteStelena
ReplyDeleteWhat is the deal with Caroline and Damon? Let me address the
ReplyDeleteelephant in the room before we go any further. Damon did not rape
Caroline. I don’t care how you twist what happened, Damon did not rape
her. I am talking about what is defined as “an act of sexual intercourse
that is forced upon a person”. I am not going to go into “mind rape” or
“blood rape” or whatever other nonsense people have used to define what
happened because no. Words have meaning and I will not be a party to
the degradation of a very serious subject. If you use the argument it
was rape because he used compulsion so she had no fear, then Caroline
also raped Matt. Matt was compelled a number of times while they were
together and not a single person calls it rape.
I consider rape to be a situation where one party cannot give consent to sexual intercourse, because they don't genuinely have the option of saying "no".
ReplyDeleteThe first time Caroline had sex with Damon, it wasn't rape, no.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry but i have to disagree, especially on Andie who wanted him to "bootiecall" her or whatever is the right word in english. Damon was a manipulative, abusive asshole
ReplyDeleteto Caroline and she had every right to distrust and hate him for a long
time. She doesn’t even need to be his friend now and could continue to
hate him for how he treated her, although that is not going to have the
effect she thinks it will. Buddha stated, “Holding onto anger is
like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.” There is
more truth in that sentence than I have ever seen in any other in my
life. Every time Caroline has one of her outbursts over Damon you can
see the hatred eating at her. It brings her no comfort other than an
idiotic veneer of superiority that is an utter crock.

LMAO Swanfire worst couple of 2013 ya dont say...well i guess that would make sense since its 5% of fanbase
ReplyDeleteEmma gave birth to Henry before she turned 18 and was sentenced as a minor because she also didn't turn 18 until after leaving prison.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I see Neal not only finally got nominated for an award, but is winning! And it's sooooo much better than sexiest men of 2013 TV, Best Hook Up, Best Chemistry or Best Kiss. Worst Couple is a true honor!
Where's Daniel and Emily (Revenge)?! Their wedding night was a disaster!!
ReplyDeleteI am surprised Carrie and Brody are on this list.
ReplyDeleteOliver/Laurel- Arrow. Klaus/Caroline- TVD.
ReplyDeleteEmma and Neal but dont kill me i dont like her with Hook either i want her alone
ReplyDeleteAny couple on TVD, lol, thanks to TPTB.
ReplyDeleteyes when I am angry i let people to died on a cell...why bring Regina to this is pretty obvious she has done worst than Hook, so? I am talking about Hook here. "Are you saying Emma would kiss a man she felt uncomfortable with" no i never say that -.-
ReplyDelete"the other is a guy that had tried to kill her several times in the past week before deciding he loved her."
ReplyDeleteu are clearly watching other show....Hook tried to kill RUMPLE... he fought Emma, cause he was focused on his revenge - everything he did was 'cause of that -...and she betrayed him in 2x06...he said she could trust him, but she have issues 'cause of Neal..
in the season 2 finale we saw Hook questioning himself and his actions...he saw an opportunity to live for something else than his revenge and took him...he focused in help Emma get Henry back, saved Charming's life and started to feel something else than desire for revenge, he started to fall in love with Emma and finally move on from his last love (from 300 years ago literally)
and now he's the one who found her and he's the one who's gonna help her remember everything...let's not forget the same happened with the Charmings...he was engaged to someone else against his will, and she was running from the Evil Queen...they fought each other (she kicked his ass and he kicked hers many times) but they fell in love, so yeah this can happen and yeah this can be love... makes more sense than many things people support on this show...
Hahaha love this ^^^! And exactly, it could be more easily tolerated if I wasn't stuck at their wedding for 24 episodes. The best episodes of the season are the ones that haven't focused on Barney and Robin almost at all. And yes, "Awwwww" is the thing we do now, but usually it follows something a bit more mean-spirited in nature haha! ;-)
ReplyDeleteOliver and Laurel
ReplyDeleteEmma and Neal
Guess you were wrong, huh? Just found this (I recalled BagelSwan "winning" worst couple) and am laughing at some of the comments
