Sleepy Hollow - Season 2 to air Uninterrupted
13 Jan 2014
Sleepy Hollow
Kevin Reilly at TCA: Because of SLEEPY HOLLOW’s production issues, they weren’t able to get things in on this [season]. Next season, they’ll go into production in March and air 13 straight.

GOOD! The breaks suck!
ReplyDeleteThats great news i just hate them constant breaks.
ReplyDeleteSleepy Hollow dropped from a 3.5 (3.1 the first time that show had real competition) to a 2.2 on the last episode aired.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, those random breaks are implicating on the ratings. If the show airs in the fall, the only break will be the world series week.
I'm glad to hear it. I do better remembering what's happening on shows like that when they aren't any long hiatuses.
ReplyDeleteThat will be nice for us! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's good. Short serialized seasons like these, it begs to go on uninterrupted. Serialized shows on networks almost always take a big dip in ratings when they come back from a break.
ReplyDeleteNow THAT is absolutely awesome!
ReplyDeleteGreat, more forward thinking. I hope they do this with more shows.
ReplyDeleteYES! Finally they've realised how fucking stupid these 'breaks' have been!
ReplyDeleteEvery year FOX gives me more and more reasons to love them. Woot!
ReplyDeleteSO MUCH YES! Ala The Following :D
ReplyDeleteGood! I hope they do the same for AH if renewed *crosses fingers*.
ReplyDeleteGood. 13 episodes is fine, but it's the hiatuses that kill any momentum the show is building.
ReplyDeleteThat is very nice. But I don't understand how they won't stop for the baseball hiatus. My pet idea was to have 24 starting late in the summer and then going up until the baseball hiatus in October, just starting Sleepy Hollow afterwards. But with 24 staring in May that won't happen.
ReplyDeleteI agree. FOX is trying to be very innovative and actually acting a lot. It's such a different attitude from ABC. Even if they fail, they have my respect.
ReplyDeleteSweet! Thanks you Mr. Reilly!
ReplyDeleteHow can they run it uninterrupted when they have the world series and everything?
ReplyDeleteI also have to say that FOX is not solely to blame for the schedule this year. They were still filming 2 weeks ago and that probably affected the schedule too.
If they indeed start the production of S2 on March, I think this means most episodes, if not all, will probably be ready by the time S2 begins. I hope this means FOX is getting ready to close a S3 renewal because this show is way WAY too good to end with a cliff hanger. It deserves 7 seasons and a movie :)
