  1. As much as I relished the punch, the final scenes with Emily, Victoria & Daniel were my favorite! All kinds of excellent and all kinds of creepy at the same time. Emily's smirk and Victoria's 'know-it-all' smile..this show is getting so good again!

  2. Other - When Nico punched Emily in the stomach - I was like "Oh no you didn't"

  3. I also have to say I've never cared as much for Emily as I did when Emily was genuinely ready to give up on her revenge and go away with Aiden. She said it when she was injured on the fishing boat and again tonight and part of me was like yes girl go enjoy your life but the other half knew it wouldn't happen as we have a TV to keep on air.

  5. I voted Jack punching Daniel.
But it was the Emily, Jack, Carl and toy Sammy scene that really was the best. The emotions and honesty between those two were great. Up until "give Aiden a message" it was great, coz then it got a tad awkward.

  6. I voted for the awesome scene at the end with Emily standing her ground, but I also really loved the opening scene with Nolan visiting Emily in the hospital and their nice banter about the 'candy stripper' jacket.

  7. Ah, too many to count. These polls should really be the kind where you can vote for multiple options.
    - Nolan visiting Emily in the beginning - should totally be an option. It was such a cute moment between them. I love this relationship to death. It gives the show the heart that elevates it beyond a prime-time soap.
    - Jack punching Daniel - I have never liked Jack more. Too bad he couldn't go a bit further and commence a total beat-down. Daniel's pattern of manhandling, harassing and trying to control women is just the cherry on top of his asshole-ness and it's time for him to get some comeuppance.
    - Emily finding out she can't have children - Victoria at her most evil, relishing in her nemesis' pain, and my god, poor Ems! At least the character going through this anguish allows EVC to further showcase her chops. Why hasn't this woman gotten an Emmy nomination yet? Also, of course it gave a previously defeated Emily the incentive she needed to return to her revenge quest, more hellbent than ever. So while cruel, it's also brilliant writing.
    - Emily's announcement - because that was a great moment of suspense. For a second there, I thought she was going to name Victoria as the shooter, in an attempt to salvage her original plan. But of course, playing along with the Graysons' cover-up and saying it was Lydia gives her all the leverage she could ever want over them. Our Ems is such a schemer, god love her.
    - The walkie-talkie reveal - because when Emily asked Jack to give Aiden a message and then Charlotte interrupted, I groaned, all "Seriously? He can't, like, bend down to kiss Emily on the cheek so she can whisper into his ear or something?". But he more than made up for it by bringing her that walkie, making sure she can communicate with Nolan, at least. Homeboy is learning how to play the revenge game, little by little.
    - Emily choosing revenge over Aiden - it saddened me because I like them together, but at the same time, I think it was necessary character development. The idea of Ems getting her revenge, having destroyed lives and her own soul in the process, and then going off to live happily ever after on a beach never quite seemed right, did it? But now, after enduring yet another loss because of the Graysons - her ability to have children - she's finally accepted that she can't have both, revenge and a happy ending. So she chose the former, and she's going down with the people she's getting her revenge on. Again: it's sad and it's dark, but it's also necessary. The writing this season is fantastic.
    - The ending - because who didn't pump their first in the air and shout "GO EMS!" upon seeing that? Okay, not literally, but our beloved crusader was back in top form in this scene. Entrapping Daniel into continuing the marriage was genius, and in a way it moves the show forward, because after two and a half years we're FINALLY moving past Victoria trying to break Emily and Daniel up while he insists Ems is the best person ever. Again, EVC's acting here was SO good. Emily's delightful relish in backing her douchebag of a husband into a corner was delicious to behold.

In short, I think you can tell I liked this episode. A lot. Lol. With Nikita gone (and having deteriorated quite a bit before the end, anyway), Revenge has officially moved into my favorite show spot.

  9. I can't even imagine picking anything but the last scene with Victoria-Emily-Daniel. That was pure brilliance.
