  1. I thought it was great. Really! Davina was very badass! I was just laughing, oh shit, look at this one. Taking them down one by one. Sorry about Josh, Davina. When Josh handed her that bottle i knew it was poisoned. So i'll have to go with Marcel's comment on Klaus being predictable. (b/c let's face it most of the times he is).

I did like the one liners in the episode as well. Especially the "Hey! Klaus. Whaddup" and "Ok men suck, what do you want me to do about it?" LOL That made me laugh so hard. I really liked Rebekah in this episode, seems like she got her fire back. And Cami. I really thought she was going to slap Klaus again. But his face just wasn't worth her hand this time. Hahaha she just walked away. Thought that was a nice scene. Same with her and Father K.

As for Sophie. i hate her. I hate her. I hate her. I still don't trust her, despite her "i'm trying to do the right thing" comment. And Hayley, tisk tisk tisk. You went behind his back, and dug up another "one true love" of his, and the evil thing that Davina has been drawing this entire time, was her all along. (Whistles) Well shit. lol If they wanted to drive a wedge between Haylijah, they certainly just did.

  2. I loved this episode. I was expecting Davina to do something to Klaus for killing Josh, but I guess it will be later. I really liked Rebekah's scenes and I hope she gets what she wants someday.

    I don't trust Sophie.

Loved the scenes of Davina giving some payback. And I like the Haley/Elijah chemistry.

All around, it was a very good ep.

  4. Edited, thank you.

  5. BEST EPISODE SO FAR!!! Danielle Campbell and Leah Pipes were especially amazing in this episode! They are so talented! There is just one thing that made wonder: where is Tyler? isn't he in the prison too?

  6. The ending was just funny. Once Hayley realized what she did, her face for priceless.

  7. I was really laughing when she went around the wall just to make the phone call. Like really? Hellooo he has vampire hearing. Which btw, i'm surprised no one used in this episode. = /

  8. When Marcel's phone rang when he was trying to talk to Rebekah, I thought "Wow, I didn't know a leash could ring."

  9. Why would anyone "trust" Rebecca as an ally? She flipflops more than a politician during an election year. "Yeah Devina, trust her, that guy she's stabbing in the back (literally)...that's her last partner against Klaus. Her plans always* work."

*By "always" we are legally obligated to say we mean never. And to acknowledge that Rebecca's plans tend to result in either her or one of her allies dead or daggered for infighting, poor planning, and/or a failure to be clever enough to use Klaus' weaknesses against him instead of using blunt force and playing into his strengths. Please proceed at your own risk and with full understanding of the risks to you, your loved ones, and anyone standing next to you when Rebecca betrays you or fails.

For instance, if she had stayed and listened to Marcel...Tim would probably still be alive. Klaus' poison plan was a failsafe against her turning on him and winning. If Rebecca hadn't stabbed Marcel, Devina would have listened to reason, and realized that all the reasons she stuck with Marcel and Elijah still applied. She needs friends, she doesn't want to be at war with every supernatural creature in the Quarter. She would have stopped. No war. Rebecca broke up the peace. She is an irrational plot device for dramatic tension. I wish she'd maintain a consistent stance for more than 5 minutes at a time.

  10. I'm sorry. Out of this whole thing, the only thing i care about is the correct spelling. I've let it slide a few times, but now it's getting to me. And as a fan of the show. One would assume you actually care about the characters names. So with that said...It's Rebekah and Davina. ya know, for future reference. = )

  11. Absolutely one of the best episode...This rocks Davina was an fire

  12. They need to get rid of the voice-overs. These are worse than the voice-overs that TVD had in Season 1.

Rebekah is all over the place. As soon as a love interest appears she automatically is on their side (we've seen it with Stefan, with Matt, and now with Marcel) and then when she's done with them/finds out they're using her, etc... she goes running back to Klaus. It's no wonder that her own brothers don't trust her. I can't figure out what her agenda is. I noticed when talking about Thierry she failed to mention that she was in on the plan (in fact it was Rebekah who suggested that they set-up Thierry when she found out that Katie was in love with him).

I hated the Elijah/Hayley scene. What the hell was the point of putting on the dress just so Elijah could come unzip it to get it off of her? I actually did like that realized if the witches lose their power she won't have much of a shot at finding one to un-do the werewolf curse and decided to help Sophie.

I didn't like the Camille scenes. I wish she had left town. I wonder if she'll find out that her uncle was actually the one who asked Klaus to compel her to leave town.

  13. I think that Klaus really does want to be loved but I think it's possible he's never had that so he doesn't know what it feels like. Mikael obviously treated him horribly from the time he was born (so no love there), his mother tried to fix him by putting the hybrid curse on him (and he's mentioned that she hated him a couple times). So I think that really tainted his childhood. He feels like the unwanted black sheep of the family and I wouldn't be surprised in the least bit if he feels like his siblings were never on his side (we saw Elijah help Mikael and Esther in the hybrid curse ritual) and never truly loved him. Elijah made reference to it in 1x01 when he said he thought that maybe the baby would Klaus the one thing he's never had - the unconditional love of family. We know nothing about his romantic history (so there's no basis to judge there but obviously none of them worked out). Klaus obviously was really fond of/liked Stefan - but Stefan hates him. And Marcel certainly doesn't love Klaus.

  14. Next week probably. He's probably get out of the Garden next Tuesday and hop on over to TVD on Thursday.

  15. Great, every actor had a moment to shine and every character got a chance to make some sweeping and cunning play

  16. I don't think Rebekah was so much about the empowerment of women as the empowerment of herself. At the end of the ep, she revealed to Theirry that she ALSO plans to try and use Davina to get her way. That makes her just as guilty as the rest of them for manipulating a damn teenager, shame on the lot of them..... entertaining to watch though, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I think Davina nailed it when she said Klaus is afraid everyone would see him as an animal since his father did and treated him as such and all throughout his human life, his family did nothing to stop Mikael's treatment of him.

    ReplyDelete
  18. On your Hayley point-- If Klaus has his way, the witches would be permanently powerless and all the werewolves in NOLA would be wiped out. If there's one obvious motive of Hayley's is that she's willing to do *anything* to find her true family. There really isn't any other option but stop Klaus' machinations with some of her own (though imo, she could have been up front with Elijah and had his help dealing with it).

Also it was told through those flashbacks with Sophie and her dead sister, killing the girls for the ritual would only be temporary. They would be brought back to life with the rejuvenated powers from the ritual. But if the ritual were kept from being completed, Sophie's niece and those other girls will stay dead (the whole point of why Sophie is so desperate to get ahold of Davina, she promised her sister she would get her daughter back.)

Now, I'm assuming why the vamps aren't willing to let Sophie temp kill Davina and end the witch drama, is they rather have one all powerful witch (used to be) at their disposal, than a community of enemy witches being back on the chess board.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Sophie is certain that killing Davina will return the magic to the witches and Davina and the other two sacrifices will return to life as well - so in her mind she's doing the right thing. She didn't believe it originally but she believes the ritual was working and Davina needs to die at the hands of an Elder to complete it.

I liked Rebecca's turning on Klaus and Marcel but was very surprised she turned on Elijah too - referring to him in the same category as the other two. He's only been concerned with protecting Haley and her child. He didn't give Davina the full story but delivered on his promises to her.

The various factions, agendas and points of view are getting insane - need a guide book to keep them straight and everyone thinks their way is the best way.

  20. Well, if you just watch the show you wouldn't really know how to spell some of The Original's names some of them are spelled weird.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Oh, Don't get me wrong. I know the drill, I still don't like her. She can think she's doing the right thing til her face turns blue, I still don't like nor trust her, for the other things she's done. And as far as that ritual, I don't trust it. Period. And iI don't blame Davina for hesitating at all about it. As far as Rebekah turning on Elijah, I have nothing to say about that. But i can understand where she's coming from. No matter how u look at it, his "promises" put them where they are now. Not solely his fault, but in the end, he still lied to Davina, not giving her the whole truth. If he would've told her everything, Davina would've spared him now. Rebekah is in the moment. So i say let her have the spolight for a change, she's always the back up singer anyway. I say it's time she got her 5 Min of fame.

  22. It was a fantastic episode! Every character came out strong and with great performances. I am excited for next week which seems to be a feeling I don't have all that often anymore with other shows. Can it be Tuesday again already?!!?

    ReplyDelete
  23. It's not spelled weird! It's a unique spelling. That's spelled differently than the most common way. As as many years as we've been following these characters, it's surprising how one can spell Klaus or Mikaelson correctly but doesn't know how to spell Davina or Rebekah, in it's correct format. And for those that just don't know, b/c they haven't watched these characters for years, or haven't read anything about them, one would assume that they would want to spell the characters' names right. The way the writers have chose to spell them. I wasn't trying to down her/him, i was trying to help her/him out, b/c maybe she/he doesn't know at all.

  24. It might of been because they speak another language? Yeah, I know what you were doing so it's fine. Anyway, I'm glad the hiatus is finally over! I especially can't wait for tonight's episodes and it's not long now before the midseason series air.

    ReplyDelete
  25. They who? I am dying for tonight's episodes!! And it's 5 hrs away. = (

  26. I also think that another reason klaus doesn't change in a werewolf more often is because there are feelings of shame involved that most likely are a result of Mikeal's treatment and his mothers curse. He probably views it as the cause for everything that happened to him earlier on in his life. Mikeal might be dead but until klaus finds a way to turn the page to his past he is always going to be afraid.

  27. The complexity of Klaus's childhood. I know "daddy" or "mommy" issues ,as Hollywood dubs it, don't make for what most people consider a great television character but it honestly fascinates me. Its a shame that must people think of negative events that happened during childhood in a "too bad, grow out of it" sort of way when in reality those events are what shape a persons character. Klaus might be horrible but he has his valid reason for the way that he is. i love that the possible paths for his character are endless and as much as I love the rest of the characters its not something I can say for anyone else. I mean where are Elijah, Rebekah, and Marcel going as characters. Sometimes I think, in regards to Elijah and Rebekah, that because they were originally written as recurring characters serving a specific role in TVD that the writers don't have a clear direction for them. I do hope I am wrong and something great is in stored for all the characters.

  28. I watch Saving Hope and i can't get use to Daniel Gillies using his american accent which he does a good one btw but i'm use to his British Accent on Saving Hope lol.

I thought the long hiatus would help me surpass that but once Saving Hope returned 2 wks ago i was like nope didn't help lol

    ReplyDelete
  29. But isn't all the Elder Witches dead lol How can she complete the ritual without the Elder doing it

    ReplyDelete
  30. You do know that he's not using an "American accent" in T.O. either Right?? he made up that accent for the show but it's far from American. And the only time he used as american accent is when he played in Spider-man 2.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Wait i didn't find him in SM2 lol.

What suppose accent he using on TO?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Did you watch the episode? Sophie thinks she can use the body of the witch that Hailey directed her too in order to "power up" and become an Elder herself - though seems it's not going to be as easy as she thinks.

    ReplyDelete
  33. lol he was Mary Jane's fiance, and J. Jonah jameson's son...and in TO, he made up that accent, it's a mix of one of his fav celebs, and different english accent.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Ahh i see. Mostly likely i didnt recongize him bc i had no idea who he was lol. Now that is talent with what he doing with the accent. His wife Rachel who currently plays on preception must be really patient with him lol

    ReplyDelete
  35. Well they've been married for 10 years, so i believe their ok.

    ReplyDelete
  36. He splits time between Canada and NO and barely any time in LA lol

    ReplyDelete
  37. Yeah, so? She has her own career too. And it's not like they don't visit each other. She was just with him a few weeks ago.
