Am I the only that noticed that Quinn is always present when villains are being born? First Graviton and now Blizzard? That can't be a coincidence....
What an emotional scene where Coulson told Skye the truth about her origins and woah at Skye being the cause of so many SHIELD agent deaths. That must be tough to deal with.
And seriously ABC?! A 3 week break when we only got two episodes this month?! I'm pissed.
Skye storyline is not over yet there is a lot of missing stuff especially who is responsible and I think Skye will want revenge.....and yikes the enemy is ally with QUinn
Loved the ep as it allowed us to see Fitz stretch a bit even though he was being set up. I liked that Coulson told Skye about her mysterious past and that it opened up perhaps a more intriguing mystery like Coulson's "death".... just taking a guess as perhaps she could be tied to/or be an offspring of Thanatos (the future adversary of the Avengers shown at the end of the movie) as they dropped the line "Death follows the child", and that was something that was always mentioned with Thanatos that he loved death or something like that.... and there have been storylines in the comics of Thanatos of him hunting down his offspring - they could be looking to make a tie in to a story like that down the line.... Nice to see May/Coulson interact more.... nice "Bucky Barnes" reference - as that name will be in play with the upcoming Captain America movie....
I'm calling this show perfect now! First ''The Magical Place'', and now this? This episode was perfect! And, as always, I missed the first 20 minutes 'cause of work, so I'll have to rewatch it, something I'm really looking forward to! It gots humor, dept, action, mystery, a great cast, great writing... Everything on this show screams perfection! Or at the very least, best show on TV right now!
Anyway, point is; that episode was amazing! The reaction above is the result of ''Seeds''!
Oh Skye I did wonder if her back story included her having powers, wonder why they went dormant, what they are and how they will inevitably come back.
Coulson being all like 'screw secrets' is awesome, he is not happy with SHIELD or Fury - this could start linking in to Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Also they mentioned Bucky Barnes!
What I took from the episode was that they didn't know where Skye had come from when she was a baby. She didn't and still doesn't have any known powers. Thinking maybe alien descent?
I got so excited when I heard the Professor Vaughn Easter egg! I so hope they come back to that on the show or at least remember they put it in there if they use the character in the movies.
I thought it was an excellent episode, the show really has stepped up from the earlier episodes, so cool. It's amazing how little I used to care for most of the team and how much I like everyone in there. Poor Skye, her story is quite sad. And I liked seeing Dylan Minnette from Lost's after life coming back.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Aw, poor Skye. I love what Coulson said about her at the end. And Coulson/May? I'm here for that.
ReplyDeleteGreat episode!

I enjoyed this episode. I think this show is really starting to find its footing.
ReplyDeleteI was so ambivalent about Fitz & Simmons early on but they've both really grown on me. Actually, all the characters have.
Great episode that, while letting off the gas after last week's episode, was just as emotionally rattling and heartstopping as The Magical Place

ReplyDeleteAoS is have constantly improvement another great episode and introduce Blizzard was cool. I love Skye and I like the way she hold the truth.
ReplyDeleteI have this bad feeling about Skye and the clairvoyance ... I think those two are related !
ReplyDeleteAnother bad guy for future episode created.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to know Dylan Minnette might return as Blizzard. I liked him on Awake.

ReplyDeleteIt's also funny because she is the one always intrigued about the aliens and powers.
