    I agree with all the good comments here- it was an amazing episode! VINCAT is getting together again, story is amazing, action-fantastic! Acting- great! Loved it!

    I hated the first part of the episode I was showing the finger (yeah like a retarded teenage girl) to Gabe and occasionally to Cat, but.... I LOVED THE ENDING!!, FINALLY!! FINALLY Cat thought about Vincent and how much he's being through!!, Tess thanked him and my sweet tender Vincent showed up, almost... well, the point of his nose, but he's coming back, I really liked this episode.

    Better story line in a long time. I like that Cat and Vin where fighting also i think it would be good for cat to fall in love with someone else. Give cat some space and a life outside of Vin.

    If that person was someone other than Gabe(RIP Evan)I might consider it, but I don't think I can ever forgive Gabe for what he did in last year's season finale. If it hadn't been for him, Vincent would have been taken and reprogrammed. Also, has he shown any kind remorse for his girlfriend's death. No, he just moved along to the next one.

    From the very beginning have enjoyed every episode and this one was no different, just super awesome. Vincent ( Jay Ryan) is so incredibly pleasing to the eye, he is just super gorgeous.

    Loving this second part of #BatB feels like a dark veil been lifted and the show is returning to what we love aka Vincat.loved the touching prayin Cat did to try n make V appear,the huge hug betweeN Tess n V awesome.All VinCat interactions were perfect and Cat finally knocked out Tori. 10/10 Welcome back Vincent,Gabe id kidding himself she just not that into you,LOL

    The best this season IMO. Finally! VinCat is getting on track. I'm looking forward to watching him win her and us over. I know he can. I'm SO ready for Tori to be gone, but I want V to send her away rather than have her die (she can die AFTER he sends her away!!) lol :D Hopefully Tess will stop cheering Gabe on now! That's just painful to watch.

    If we knew we had a few more seasons in front of us, I'd be open to the idea. But if the show gets cancelled I don't want it ending with them with other people. Or worse, (maybe worse, maybe not) rushing them back together in the last ep. That wouldn't make me very happy.

    Best episode to date for me had everything you would want, anger, love, protection, excitement, the list is endless...Pamysue did a fab job for her first writing assignment for the show hope she gets to do more. And VinCat are on their way back again :))

    Have to say Vincent saying "Looky Loo" had me in fits of laughter so unexpected from him but just shows Jay's comedic side. But both he and KK were amazing in this add Nina as well who played the part very well p, the hug was so sweet and she called V a new friend Awww! So glad the ice was broken though between Cat and V, they both were hurting so much and anger just took over, they both know they will protect each other whatever the cost, if that doesn't say Love! Then I don't know what will :)

    Held Hostage was probably the BEST episode of S2. It had absolutely everything, the drama, suspense, comedy and I'm really loving how the mythology of the necklace is being fleshed out!! Best of all though, it feels like there is finally a light at the end of that very dark VinCat tunnel. They are far from being back together, but I thought this was an awesome first step!

    Indeed Janell, anyone can see they never stopped loving each other. Its just sometimes when we are hurting or in pain, we get angry with the people we love and anger clouds our judgement. Now that they talked and Vincent expressed how hurt he was for been betrayed by everyone, she can see it from his point of view. Poor guy has been through hell and back and deserves love and understanding.
    Jay Ryan fantastic actor. Hope he gets recognition for his talent.

    Exactly Sin, I think we all knew his anger was about feeling betrayed by those he cared about including cats mum, but it took them both to see through that bottled up pain to see from each other's point of view. I'm so glad they gave us that moment because the V hate was getting to much, poor guy went through hell.

    The best of #BATB Season 2! We can see what a bit of great writing does...bring out the wonder of the characters that we fell in love with in the first place. Fantastic action. Amazing acting. Love the leather-jacket on Vincent. Special credit should be given to @JayRyan, marvelous performance in the last three episodes, @MsKristinKreuk, lovely and deadly as always, @NinaLisandrello, refreshing and dimensional, and @Sendhil_Rama, more amendments to be made to bring VinCat together again.. Can't wait for next week's #ReciperForDisaster for @AustinBasis to supplement the talented cast and crew.

    That was awesome beyond words. Finally the Vincent we all fill in love with is coming back. I hated the beginning of the episode seriously I can't stress enough how much I hated seeing Cat with Gabe I even looked away from the screen don't get me wrong I like Gabe and he is sincere in his feelings for her and he tried really hard to redeem himself but Vincent and Cat belong together so please stop that madness!!!
    The final scene was soooooo beautiful, their chemistry is just amazing, but my favorite part of that scene is when Tess hugged Vincent and said it's because of him she can celebrate her birthday and turn 30 and invited him to the party that was so cute.

    I think the connection will only get deeper from here as we only have a few more episodes before the hiatus and he (the showrunner) promised we would get what we want before the hiatus. I am looking forward to a better and deeper connection than last year as that is what we were promised as well! Good to see Vincent back to protecting people and not just looking out for himself, though I do understand why and what he has been through. The new Vincent will always have an edge that the old, sweet, loveable Vincent did not have, but will be like the old Vincent in protecting others, especially his lady love CAT

    SinBella and Janell, I totally agree with you two. Beautiful words. Nothing to add, except I hope the people who are still calling Vincent a jerk finally get why he was acting like he did. Give him a break! I love the writers show us their character development, it's not a shallow TV show!

    Totally Ina, every character should be judged equally and Vincent had valid reasons for reacting the way he has. Hope from here onwards we will get to see our beloved characters overcome the hurt and the pain & find themselves again. We have all been through tough times in our lives and thats why we can relate and sympathise with what they're going through. We love the show so much cos the talented cast are able to portray human drama so beautifully! Can't wait for episode 212!

    nope it is called Beauty and the Beast and should be about those characters and epic love.The Tori storyline has had Beasties going insane with rage (not me til very recently) but are fine with Catherine being with someone else and that someone being the reason for all this trauma,Do not agree with love triangles especially for BATB the writers have tried twice and wasted precious episodes this season with Tori,Really hope if we get season3 Kern sticks to his "who are we" plan and keeps them together then it will stand out against most other shows and being able to find storylines based around the main couple ,,,rambled on a bit sorry lol #BatB

    I know the writers wanted to add suspense but when Tori put the necklace back and Kat knocked her out and Vincent asked how she knocked out a beast i was laughing bc i knew right away the necklace suppressed her beast side. Clearly showed how her eyes turned back to normal after the necklace was put back on.


    The collar thing i'm not sure it was meant to lease the beast but to suppress the beast inside the person long time ago in order to study it and some how extract the beast strain and weaponized it which is now Tori and Vincent. Murifield was never alone in this project i'm guessing whoever is in the limo was funding Murifield and some how connected to Kat

    I don't want to see them with other people either, and I really, REALLY wish shows would ditch the tired, overused love triangle bit! BoRiNg! I'm so over that crap! Why can't writers just write a couple TOGETHER, happy but with up and downs (not break-up ups and downs tho!!) But unfortunately all shows like to torture us viewers with it (I think they think we like it?? o.o) So any time I watch a show now, even tho I don't like it, I always prepare for the inevitable splits. Sadly, most of the time these splits are so contrived and the writers put the characters thro so much and work so hard at convincing us they are truly in love with other people, I end up losing interest. That hasn't happened for me yet for BATB but TVD and Rookie Blue have fallen to that unfortunate demise for me tho. Although as a Delena shipper I'm relatively happy this season. :)


    I hope we get a season 3 and can put the love triangles behind us and move onto some cool mythology!! :)
