Yvonne Strahovski has joined the cast of Fox's 24: Live Another Day, TVGuide.com has learned.
The Dexter and Chuck alum will play Kate Morgan, a brilliant but impulsive CIA field operative in London, where the new story is set.
The event series will feature Kiefer Sutherland, Kim Raver, William Devane and Mary Lynn Rajskub all reprising their roles from the original series, which wrapped its run in 2010. Live Another Day also recently cast Oscar nominee Judy Davis as a British national who is the widow of a notorious terrorist.

ReplyDeleteCan she not, though? I haven't seen her on Chuck, maybe she was great there, but she was terrible on Dexter, so I'm not really looking forward to this, who knows, maybe she's surprise me.

ReplyDeleteAlthough I loved her on Dexter (and still hope that "If" Showtimes does decide to go ahead with a spin off in next couple of years, it will feature her and Harrison), I think it's one thing to hate a character verses hating an actor/actress.

ReplyDeleteDid I say that I hated the actress? I said I thought she was bad on Dexter (not just the character, the acting as well), admitted that I haven't seen her in anything else, but I'm willing for her to surprise me. So calm down.
ReplyDeleteNo, but I thought maybe that's what you meant, because I didn't think her acting was bad at all and plenty of people like the actress, but just hated her character on Dexter. I apologize for assuming otherwise. And this is me being calm. (and polite).
ReplyDeleteThat's ok, I just never transfer my dislike of a character onto the actor, so I don't like being accused of something I didn't do. I didn't just dislike Hannah on Dexter or that storyline, I thought she was bland, which I tend to attribute more to an actor than character, but I really have to see her in another role in order to know for sure. It could very well be that it was just the character and writing and with better material, the actress can really shine. We just had a misunderstanding, everything's cool.
