    She's going to die but hijack Elena's body as a passenger, there was a blurb in an article I read earlier today that said Elena & Katherine's interactions were going to get very interesting. The two of them sharing a body would be interesting indeed.

    I had a feeling they might go that way, but I thought it would be more that Katherine takes over and it takes awhile for them to figure out she's now Katherine.

    SPOILER ALERT: katherine will not technically die but will do a body switch using traveller magic as we all know was hinted in mid-season finale!!so what needs to be seen is whose body will katherine or katherine's soul inhabit or possess!!

    I would be weird, because Elena is into Damon right now, and Katherine has something to Stefan :D

    I think they tried to kill her first though (with the exception of Caroline). They attempted to kill Katherine in the first half of Season 2. Katherine wouldn't have tried to kill Elena then (since she was planning on handing her over alive to Klaus) and I don't recall her actually trying to kill anyone in their little group.

    I read that blurb too. I'm not sure if it's about Elena's body getting hijacked so much as Stefan sleeping with Katherine, or maybe Elena coming to terms with the fact that she caused Katherine's death. She still doesn't know that the cure is killing Katherine. However, since Elena and Damon are on the outs, it would be interesting to see Katherine try to use Elena's body to get at Stefan again. Of course that would immediately give away the fact that Elena isn't herself. Katherine also knows better than to snatch Elena's body because Stefan would never forgive her. I think Katherine found someone else to travel into, or maybe this will be the decision that Caroline makes that affects her for a while. The things is, since travelling is in Katherine's blood, wouldn't it be in Elena's blood too? If Katherine did try to take over Elena's body, Elena might figure out a way to fight back.

    I read that a main character is supposed to die and leave the show completely, and it looks like it's going to be Katherine, but the show has surprised everyone before. If it's not Katherine, who is it? I'm more interested in whether Elena will act on her new outlook concerning Augustine. Things are supposed to happen, or are already happening, that will attract the Originals' attention. I can't think of anything freakier than Elena volunteering to help research how to use vampires to save lives.

    uh she compelled matt to attack tyler until tyler killed him. Killed Caroline, compelled Jenna to stab herself, and was going to hand tyler,caroline,bonnie and elena over to Klaus all to be killed. So ya she basically tried to kill everyone

    that is totally what is going to happen, I knew it the moment that Nadia brought up body switching. Of course katherine would want the same body and the only way to do that is to take elenas

    I absolutely adore Katherine, especially this season. But i have to say that if the writers decide to kill her (but i highly doubt it, they'll find a way to save her as it was hinted in the episode), I will have a lot of respect for them becaus it would take a lot of courage to kill a character as loved as Katherine... Besides, we haven't had a big death since Alaric's (i don't count Jeremy nor Bonnie because they came back) so it could be interesting in a way.

    And Damon compelled a guy to get into a fight with Tyler earlier. Damon was ready to kill Tyler in Season 1 (Vicki stopped him). Caroline nearly killed Matt and then compelled him to forget about it.



    I don't see how Katherine turning Caroline into a vampire is worse than Damon turning Vicki into one.


    Bonnie was not being handed over to Klaus to be killed - Katherine thought Klaus might need a witch to do the spell but he already had Greta & Maddox so he didn't need Bonnie.

    Damon compelled that guy just to fight him not to go after him till tyler killed the person. Caroline was trying to learn how to control being a vampire when she attacked matt and then broke up with him just so she wouldn't hurt him again. Yes Damon is just as bad for killing Vicki but he's tried to make up for all the bad stuff he did in season 1 ever since. And Katherine was going to hand bonnie over to klaus and didn't care what Klaus did with her. Katherine is worse than Damon tho because she has her humanity switch on and still does horrible stuff, Damon had his humanity turned off for most of the really bad stuff he did.
