Having failed in his original scheme — to steal the heart of the truest believer (aka Henry) — “Pan has regrouped and come up with a Plan B that is probably even more devastating and intense,” series cocreator Adam Horowitz tells TVLine. “It’s going to test all of our heroes to see if and how they can stop him, and at what cost.”
Because even though Pan is playing in a brand-new sandbox far from the Neverland realm, his particular brand of evil levels the playing field — and then some. Notes cocreator Eddy Kitsis, “We learn very quickly that he is a villain unlike any we’ve faced, and there is no ‘home field advantage’ for us.”
“The midseason finale is meant to tie up all of the arcs and loose ends from the first half of this season, while also endeavoring to carry over the story into what we are hoping is a compelling new mode of storytelling in the second half,” says Horowitz. Adds Kitsis: ”By the end of Episode 11, most of the loose ends are tied up. Like, ‘Does Tink get her wings back?’ — all these questions will be answered. It will feel very much like a season finale, and we are very much setting up what will be a season premiere in March.”

I hope the second half is better than the first. EK & AH missed a lot of opportunities, imo.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the cost of saving the town will be killing Peter in Henry's body...
ReplyDeleteYou seem to be in the small minoraty who actually thinks that.
ReplyDeleteI seriously doubt that because from the promo, it looks like they've switched bodies.
ReplyDeleteDon't we also get a hint as to who the new 'big bad' will be for the next half of the season in the episode too? Gotta admit, looking forward to what they've planned, just hoping it pulls off.
ReplyDeleteAs long as they keep Robbie Kay, I'm all for it.
ReplyDeleteps.: maybe they could give Henry a sleeping curse?
I still don't understand the long hiatus its like ABC is doing all they can to ensure people don't watch their shows.
ReplyDeleteI think the town will do a Sophie's choice - stay together, but lose memories and frozen in time OR create counter curse which will retain identities, but send them back to EF and thus separating them, again. The Charmings/Emma/Henry either stay together and lose identities, again. Or breakup family, but retain who they are.
ReplyDeleteHoping it's a good one.
Actually it's the opposite! Last season was interrupted by several 2 or 3 weeks hiatuses, which wasn't good for the ratings and got on the viewer's nerves. So this season you have 11 and then another 11 episodes with only one hiatus (Music awards) up to now. I like it better this way!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the spoiler pics... I definitely thought the same! I think this part of the season will be all about Emma ,Henry and Hook trying to go back to the EF and The Charmings and company fighting ogers and the new villain:) to rebuild the kingdom for their arrival...
ReplyDeleteI hope they will explain how Philip got his soul back in a parallel to Henry getting his body back haha, anyway that's something I'm really curious about! No matter how they do it... I aways finish an episode surprised! Even seeing spoiler videos/pics all time and creating crazy theories as well ,the creators aways find a way to make the episodes better than I expect! I fell in love with OUAT in the very first scene and still feel the same way;)
ReplyDeleteSuch as...please cite some which you think were missed.
ReplyDeleteNot really, there seems to be quite a lot of people of that opinion. I've seen it quite a bit
ReplyDeleteI don't care what the curse is...as long as they keep Robbie Kay on the show! I don't want to see him go!
