  1. Damn, I was hoping TTP and Arrow would at least adjust up a tenth...

Now I am nervous for TTP's fate. I have some hope that it can survive the Monday move and score 0.5's or higher. *fingers cross*

  2. I was hoping they adjusted up as well. I am not optimistic at all about TTP though, I think it's kind of dead now. It had to beat Reign in this fall to keep its slot and unfortunately it didn't. Now I see very little chance of it coming back. I doubt it pulls 0.5s on Monday. And honestly, even if it does, they will probably still cancel it as they need space for new shows.

  3. So now it's a dead show walking? Such a shame. And I remember you and I were major fanboys when TTP got picked up back in May. XD

As for space for new shows, yeah I agree as I want The Flash show and the Supernatural spin-off to get picked up. At this point, I won't be devastated if TTP gets canceled but I'll be a little sad as I thought that it had SO much potential.

  4. I hope they have a clear ending for TTP this season and don't finish the season with a cliffhanger.

  5. I hate when that happens. Tisk tisk. I hope so too.

  6. I don't really think it will get cancelled and I've always been optimistic about it the thing is there were other shows that were doing bad last year and they were renewed so I'm sure this series will too.

  7. I tried recruiting - everyone got turned off by the dam* love triangle.

  8. I do hope they give it a little more space to find its legs - but I've never taken moving a show around as a good sign.

  9. Yet people love The Vampire Diaries even though this season is really bad and season 4 wasn't that great either. I don't know people say they hate love triangles but still watch The Vampire Diaries and shows like it and The Tomorrow People does it better than any of them at least it's not the focus of the entire show.

  10. Well, Supernatural is moved all the time and they're just trying to find the right spot for some of their other new shows while they aired the last episodes of them and then they'll move The Tomorrow People back to Wednesdays.

  11. They do it all the time just not really sure why maybe because they want to see how Beauty and the Beast does. I have faith that we'll get a second season I'm just going to hate the wait for it to come back in January.

  12. Just my opinion - I think the audience for Tomorrow People is kinda different at the core than the Vampire Diaries. Yes, it is a CW show, and it's still going to have that teen-drama focus. Yet also, the Vampire Diaries didn't have Elena cheating on Stefan in the first seven episodes, and the dynamic was different enough to make the triangle feel more probable (and was given a slower build as Damon was still at the core hung up on Katherine for a long time).

I know there are those for whom the triangle in TTP probably works. I just know when I went on a marathon viewing of the episodes with my sister and a few friends to try to get some of them hooked before the midseason finale... they all tore the show apart for the cheating, the triangle, etc. and no one cared enough to watch the finale after that. It was disappointing.

On that note. While I've watched the Vampire Diaries, I do so for a friend, and didn't until like the 3rd season, when I 'caught up' in watching it with her while she was pregnant. It's not my kind of show really. TTP and Arrow are much more my kind of shows. I was interested in them from the beginning - thus my personal take on these shows inviting different audiences.

  13. Sucks for ‘Mob City’ but thankfully it is more a mini-series type of
show given the way TNT are airing it honestly this was NEVER going to
appeal to most of the crowed in the demographic, maybe TNT will have
more luck with ‘The Last Ship’ which preimeres next year.

  14. The CW wasin a worse state last year and renewed those shows because they don't have the resources to launch more than 3 new fall shows. This year is a whole different story and TTP won't be as lucky.

  15. I don't think this season of TVD is bad at all.

  16. I doubt TTP will get another season, the only reason Supernatural works being moved around is that it has a steady fanbase and it's in it's 9th season, TTP doesn't have a steady fanbase and it's only 9 episodes in it's first season. No hate, just saying.

  17. Hmmm. I recruited two people. Males, and they loved it b/c of the dialog, Mark. P. and the powers aspect. And they found Astrid sexy. lol I didn't get complaints about the love triangle.

  18. I'm really glad AHS ratings have been steady this season. This has been one of the best seasons of the series yet!

  19. I for one *hate* the love triangle. And from a lot of the comments on message boards on spoiler tv as well as other places, I'm not alone. I came late to this show, and I'm giving it a shot, but the love triangle totally turns me off. I'm hoping they drop it quickly, or in reality, it's unlikely I'll keep watching. There are too many better written shows out there, and I find the love triangle they're going for kinda forced and insubstantial.

  20. When they start moving a show around this early in its lifespan, it doesn't usually bode well. When they moved Supernatural around, it already had a good audience they knew would follow it around to whatever night.

  21. Idc about the triangle mostly, i think it has more to offer than just some stupid triangle. And if it's actually given a second season, we can see that. I like everything else besides the romance. And in my eyes, I see no triangle. I ship Cara and John, and I truly believe Cara and Stephen aren't gonna work out in the long run. Cara is 22yrs old n Stephen is 18, i I think Cara is going through some type of phase, TBH.

  22. Fingers and toes crossed!!

  23. Geez!!! TTP are crashing and burning.....i'm gonna keep the hope alive.....i think it's time for me to start recruiting people on this show.
