The Walking Dead 4.04 "Indifference" Preview
3 Nov 2013
Reviews The Walking DeadThis week’s episode of The Walking Dead, “Indifference” is going to leave a lot of viewers shocked. The episode culminates in a moment that I certainly never saw coming. The episode was written by Matt Negrete and was directed by Tricia Brock. Both are new to The Walking Dead and neither has a background in horror, yet the episode fits seamlessly into rhythm of the season.
At the center of this week’s episode is the fallout from Carol’s (Melissa McBride) final words in the last episode. The episode parallels the two teams scavenging – Daryl (Norman Reedus), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Tyreese (Chad L Coleman), and Bob’s (Lawrence Gilliard Jr) foray to the Veterinary College for medicine and Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Carol’s foray to a nearby town for whatever medicine they can get in the meantime as well as much needed food. The events of the end of the episode will, no doubt, be a game changer going forward this season. As we’ve come to expect, the two storylines dovetail in ways that encourage us to look at events in different ways. The episode doesn’t give us any insight into how people are faring in the quarantine, however.
You will not want to miss this episode. It is both satisfying and shocking in equal measures. I would love to tell you more... but I can’t. I’m looking forward to coming back later this week to discuss the episode in great detail...
The episode airs tonight, November 3 at 9pm on AMC. This episode of The Walking Dead will air in the UK on Friday, November 8 at 10pm on FOX. If you missed “Isolation” in the UK, you can see that tonight at 9pm on FOX.

ReplyDeleteOMG - I'm still picking my jaw up off the ground!
ReplyDeleteI hate being the impatient type. Come on guys this is SPOILERTV.com lol. I'm too impatient to wait lol. :)
ReplyDeleteInterested to determine how the title will fit in.
ReplyDeleteOh you tease!
ReplyDeleteromain spoiled the shit out of this. glad you didnt!
ReplyDeleteMy jaw is still on the ground after seeing the bazillion zombies easing on down the road last week.
ReplyDeleteLeave it there - waste of energy to pick it up at this point!
ReplyDeleteOoops. The instructions are pretty clear...
ReplyDeleteYou know it!
ReplyDeleteIt totally does btw... I suspect my surprise at what happens is a good indication that I wouldn't survive a zombie apocalypse...
ReplyDeleteNo he didn't. He gave general points. But you're on a site with spoiler in the title....
ReplyDeleteThanks for this. All I want, all I hope for, on the gratuitous side of things is a good shot of Daryl's hiney. It's needless and unnecessary and would not further the plot, but a girl can dream. Just tell me, does Daryl get good Daryl moments in this one?
ReplyDeleteWhere did he? Please don't make up stuff.
ReplyDeleteI find myself thinking this very thing just about every episode. I would have died back in the tank in Atlanta! LOL!
ReplyDeleteWell, for one thing, I never would have left the poor horse to fend for himself!
ReplyDeleteI don't think he did. He said someone dies - not who - there was speculation in the comments - which I'm not going to comment on because it would be a spoiler! LOL!
ReplyDeleteOh YES! Some excellent Daryl moments! I don't recall any spectacular hiney shots however... sorry. Daryl does a really good thing too - which I'll talk about in my review... which won't be up for a few days...
ReplyDeleteAs you can see by my avi, I'm a bit partial to him. Lol, I figured no hiney shot, that's the fangirl in me coming out. ;)
ReplyDeleteJust as long as Michonne and Daryl don't die on trip back, I'm fine....
ReplyDeleteYou could worship far less worthy hineys! I love Daryl - and Norman as far back as Boondock Saints...
ReplyDeleteI can neither confirm nor deny... but I think you'll find this an interesting episode...
