Team F/A because it's giving new life to the show. I love Diane but L/G is not without sins. They've treated like crap those 4th years associates. You reap what you sow. And I also root for Cary. He deserves success after 5ys of defeats.
I loved that last line '...when can we expect delivery?' Too funny as Diane stormed out the door. I can not believe the hubris of Diane assuming the work the 4th years did was her own!
Team F/A all the way. I'm sorry Diane lost her case but representation is entirely up to the client. If she wants Alicia and Cary, likely because they are the ones she is used to dealing with, then that is her prerogative. It doesn't matter if she wants F/A because she likes Alicia's shoes- representation is the client's prerogative.
1) This show has the best guest stars. Ever. 2) It always amazes me how they can bring comic relief even in the most intense dramatic scenes. 3) The Kings as a writing team are on a whole new level above everyone else.
On the one hand, I can definitely understand Alicia and Cary's motivation: they dealt with clients and put in all the hours, but still they depended on the whims of the managing partners of Lockhart/Gardner.
On the other hand, Lockhart/Gardner could not exist or function without Diane and Will as managing partners. True, they were not involved in litigation as much as Alicia and Cary, but that does not mean they are dispensable. They had other responsibilities, so naturally they had to delegate. Diane in particular was inclined to sacrifice her personal life in favour of her career, so it's not easy for her to witness Alicia and Cary undo her life's work. She is also justified in her behaviour.
I honestly cannot choose just one team to root for, because the character motivation is just so impeccably written and acted out. But watching my favourites battle it out is such a sweet torture. :D
I love Diane and Will but I can't help being on Tam F/A for the same reasons. Especially the way Cary has been used and screwed by LG. In some respects Alicia has also been used by them, she would never have been offered Managing partner or partnership at all if it weren't for her husband's political influence. I can't see a strong and independent woman like Alicia being okay with receiving preferential treatment because of her husband.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
wow, this was not easy to watch. I'm afraid to say, but I'm rooting for L/G not F/A...
