If Liv's cases tend to parallel what is happening with the fixer or the gladiators, we'd have to assume there is some familial connection between Liv anf Fitz.
At first I thought it was the Lockerbie bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 but that of course happened in Scotland, not Iceland, and the number of passengers on board was different compared to that crash featured in the episode tonight.
This show just keeps ramping it up. It's nothing short of epic television
Loved it, loved it, loved it. This show is just brilliant. It might have been my favorite this season. Also, I've just realized that even though I am not a hardcore shipper or anything in almost any show, I am all for Olivia and Fitz. I have no problems with the Jake character at all, I like him and hope he sticks around, but Olivia and Fitz lead to the best scenes of the show IMO. That phone call scene was just awesome and it had me on the edge of my seat with each change. Also, just wow at that Mellie scene, it took a lot of her to do that. I feel sorry for her that she ends up being the one that has to freaking apologize to Olivia and beg her to come back. I hope she does though, I don't want her on the other side of the campaign, even though they are clearly going for that with that mother twist at the end. However, one thing I have to say though is that it was VERY out of character for Olivia to hep the opposing candidate in this episode. She had no reason to be mad at Fitz at this point so why would she just go to the other side like that? It was an unnecessary betrayal IMO, they should have established that better. Anyway, I am willing to overlook that because of how awesome the whole thing was.
My problem with the twist is that it will put Fitz and Olivia at opposing sides of the election which I will not look forward to, but it will for sure create a lot of drama. Will the show really dare to have a scenario in which Fitz is not president though? I doubt it.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Whoa at Fitz possibly killing Olivia's mom (although I think her death may have been faked).
ReplyDeleteSaw the "little sister is actually the daughter" twist coming, but I still loved it. Hope Liv decides to help Lisa Kudrow!
And yay for Paul Adelstein! I've missed him (and Private Practice).
Great episode!
