  1. Another really awesome episode, without the hype of being the premiere, relaly loved it. Poor Nick

I wonder if we'll see more of physical after-effect like the part he was almost dead again

  2. What? Did I get this right? Stefania is Renard's mother? Sure sounded like her on the phone, and he did say "Hello, Mother." That, of course, would mean Stefania is Adalind's child's grandma. By the way, I hid my eyes every time I saw Adalind. Too gross for me. A really great episode, and I'm glad to see Juliette as part of the gang. She is actually very good there (as opposed to when she didn't know anything and had nothing to do). Also happy to see her lying in bed next to Nick. Excellent episode.

  3. 0_o I didn't reconized the voice...I need to watch the episode again (not that I wasn't already planning to ;) )

I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't hate Juliette. Her story last year was stretched for way too long and she was wasting time in the first season too, but Hank too was pretty much useless in the first season. I'm very happy she knows everything and having her part of the team, it change the whole dynamic, in a good way

  4. really interesting problem that zombie Nick got the gang into..... this will be interesting to see how this will play out, especially with the guilty conscience that Nick has. Curious to find out why Nick is physically reacting this way to the zombie juice and the cure.... the Adalind scenes were hilariously gross....

  5. Oh god, the pacing! I don't think I;ll be able to watch the whole season.

  6. How everyone went head straight into the cover up was amazing, those people are tight yo.

Very good episode, loved the slowed pace compared to the premiere, and Adalind's scenes continue to crack/gross me up.

  7. Really? I though she sounded more british; didn't even cross my mind it could be Stefania, though I'm definitely not against it :D

  8. I don't think it was the same voice, they didn't sound similar at all...plus, Stefania isn't a Hexenbiest and Renard's mother definitely is. I also doubt that Renard's mother is able to wander around Europe freely, especially not so close to the Royal family.

  9. I wanted her as part of the group from the get go, and I am so glad that the last puzzle piece finally fell into place...I have the feeling that it was worth the wait.

  10. Yeah, the pacing was strange, as usual for the starter episodes. But I am glad that they took their time with the aftermath instead of just skipping ahead. The show requires way too much hand waving as it is.

  11. I am pretty sure it was the same voice. And what makes you think Stefania isn't a Hexenbiest? I always thought she was :?

  12. Because she keeps saying that a Hexenbiest is not trustworthy. She also never turned so far.

  13. I would have given this one an 'awesome', but I had to deduct some points for unneccessary drama. Why did the gang have to tell Nick everything that happened while he was a zombie? When they realized he didn't remember anything, they could have said they tracked him from the shipping yard, he put up a fight but they managed to subdue him and give him the treatment. Then this whole guilt thing about being a murderer - which has been done to death on so many other shows - wouldn't be an issue. If they want Nick to wallow in self doubt, let it be whether he's completely normal now, that fits the story so much better.

  14. For one, they didn't know that someone got killed at this point. And two, he remembered that fake name. By pinning the guilt on his alias, so to speak, Nick would have learned that more happened sooner or later. I am actually more surprised that they really believed that they could keep the dead secret. Nick work in the precinct after all.

  15. It definitely wasn't Stefania. She has strong voice and the women at telephone had finer voice.

  16. Regardless of whom the voice belongs to, what I heard was "Hello, Mother" and the woman expressed condolences in such a way that I think she had something to do with the crash. (And I think the crash had something to do with James Frain is coming to Sleepy Hollow, but that's another matter).

  17. Actually she thanked Renard for having taken care of his brother...I think she simply figured it out. And I bet that she will not be the only one to do so.

  18. He seems to be recovering his memory of his time as a zombie. He had a flash of the bar fight. I wonder if he'd eventually remember it all on his own.

  19. We were discussing, last week, that the season premiere might have worked better as a 2 hour premiere. Definitely would have worked better, IMHO.

Thought it was an awesome ep. His breaking into the with the family made me chuckle. Really, the police need to confiscate that man's gun because he just seemed primed to be the most dangerous thing to his family...in an attempt to protect them.

I forgave them the 'not being in control of yourself isn't a legal defense' non-sense. The legal community was well aware that there was a poison out there, and what it did to people. However, I do believe that while Nick would have gotten off, legally, for the murder his law enforcement career would have likely been over.

Loved Nick's family sitting at his bedside. Am liking this Juliette lots more.

Adalind's life has just gotten a huge EEEWWWWWWWW!

  20. The voice didn't sound the same to me. I didn't pick up the same accent. Could be fun if she is, but....not sure I really like the idea of shoving those two stories together in such away. But, I can see where it would make for some really good story if they did.

  21. At least he is responsible enough to put the gun where he would never reach it in time in case of an emergency. (Honestly, why to people thing that a gun in the house makes them in any way safer?)

    ReplyDelete
  22. Yes, that was his one good point.

My Dad got a gun "to protect the family" The one time I woke up screaming (from a nightmare) the whole family came dashing into the room to see what was wrong. Did my Dad bring protection with him? Nope. Then there was the time he sent my sister and I to pick up his car from a shade tree mechanic. I was told to drive because, the gun was under the passenger seat and he figured if there was a need...she was more likely to shoot than I. Had either of us been taught to use the thing properly? No. Happily he came to his senses (um... send his two high school aged daughters someplace we were likely to need a gun to get out safely... really?) and told us not to go. LOL

  23. I unfortunately deleted the episode right after I watched it, so I have no way to check it out, but several people think it's not the same person, so I guess I was wrong. It is interesting however, that we heard Renard speaking on the phone to his mother. I guess we'll find out more about the family. That will be fun, too.

how are they going resolve the bar incident clearly there will be witness who will be able to describe Nick to a sketch artist?

  25. Gotta love the in you give up they you will give them exactly what they worked for speech lol Classic and always work to a certain point lol

Question how in the world they did made Nov.1 on Juliette's phone if they filmed episode 2 way before Nov.1 lol it's not like CSI where they film the next episode on the same week where a new episode airs.

  26. I'm hoping the side effects to that serum is the underlying to the entire season... it seemed implied that this is just the beginning of changes Nick could go through... it could get very interesting. I loved how they didn't just cure him instantly and everything was okay. The writers are very good at not digressing when telling a specific story. (I mean it took Juliet nearly an entire season to get her memory back, any other show it probably would have taken an episode or two)

It was said, when everyone was looking for Nick, that he would react differently to being poisoned and then his friends "cure" him but underestimate that fact he is a powerful Grimm. I love how consistent the writers are. It's like they watch the show themselves and are fans of it, it's a nice change from so many other shows.
