the return of Maleficent?
ReplyDeleteHmm. If the title is literal, then a reference to Regina (most likely), Ursula, Maleficent, or maybe Emma?
ReplyDeleteThere's also the literal witch from the pilot that was there during the casting of the curse.
ReplyDeleteWell Sarah Bolger tweeted the other day about heading back to set. Apparently Julian Morris is in Vancouver too. This might actually be Aurora's back story episode, finally.
ReplyDeleteMy question is why. Why would they give us a back story for Aurora now? Isn't she in the Enchanted Forest, waiting for Phillip's kid? Mulan and Robin Hood are out of their castle, the Charmings are in Neverland with Regina and Rumple, Ariel and Belle are in Storybrooke. I don't see how the Enchanted Forest fits in.
ReplyDeleteWell, compare the probable airdate of this episode to the release date of Disney's film Maleficent... never underestimate the power of cross-promotion! Or, maybe it is a which/witch pun :)
ReplyDeleteThere were spoilers the other week when they were filming Episode 11 that Grumpy was running up the main street of Storybrooke screaming "It's here! The cruse! It's here!" and Regina was saying Goodbye to Henry and Emma. So it's looking like a lot of characters will be going back to the EF (Since the episode is called 'Going Home').
ReplyDeleteThe only characters that have been spotted filming since that episode are Emma, Henry and Hook (and all of those scenes have been in New York, not Storybrooke).
This is one of the other reasons why I can't see it happening. I particularly find it very illogical to have one character played by two different people in two different contexts at the same time. Besides, I highly doubt they've coordinated the story in the movie with the story in OUAT. It would be like watching a car crash...
ReplyDeleteHuh. I don't have any guesses!
ReplyDeleteWell, take makes sense. And if they intend to have some Regina/Robin Hood interaction, they'll either have to take him to Storybrooke or take her to the EF. I still think the idea of bringing Maleficent back at this point is not the wisest, but it makes more sense if Aurora was somehow reintroduced to the story.
ReplyDeleteNo, but a sorcerer or sorceress may be synonymous with "witch"...
ReplyDeleteBecause maybe the Wraith Story will be given too? -Maybe there is some reason we need understand that mythology that relates the main characters...or thinking of Maleficent, maybe there will be another kind of curse?
ReplyDeleteThis could be several things, though I believe this is a Regina-centric episode from the other spoilers I hear from tumblr. Either way, it's written by Jane Espenson, so it's bound to be a good episode! Love Jane's writing!
ReplyDeleteThe second episode, actually. Her Storybrooke counterpart is Miss Ginger.
ReplyDeleteapparently on Wikipedia, there's a synopsis for 3x13. I don't think it's official, and it may be taken down, but here it is:
ReplyDelete"...Maleficent escapes the library and creates havoc so Regina and Hook both team up to find her. Back in the enchanted forest past, Maleficent tries to become the most powerful wizard, with the help of Rumplestiltskin..."
Personally, I think this seems 'official', but I'm not sure...
I hope that's it. I'm dying for more Maleficent episodes!
ReplyDeleteI am thinking this curse will go wrong. Emma and Neal(and maybe Charming Family) will end up living without memories in new york, and Hook, for some reason retaining memories, will try to get them back to undo it.
