    I doubt it will last long, though. Vex is a great character, but he is NOT a leader material. Morrigan most likely will waltz in during some crisis and be all like "I am back"

    Evony wasn't a good leader either. The vast majority of her appearances were about personal grudges, personal gain, and straight-up vendettas. With Vex as Morrigan, Bo and company now have the opportunity to spend more time dealing with Dark Fae stuff since their relationship with Vex is likely to be more amicable.

    But the difference was that Evony was a 100% bureaucrat. Vex is most of a "mischief" boy. Even he himself said he feels overwhelmed in the Webisode 2.

    Evony isn't a bureaucrat at all. She's part mean girl part mafia don. The one thing she has in common with a bureaucrat is her penchant for backroom deals and duplicity. As far as Vex being overwhelmed, as you mentioned, it's a webisode. It bridges the gap between seasons. For all we know, he could have acclimated quite nicely to his new position by the time the actual episodes begin.
