  1. Grimm adjusted up a tenth, FANTASTIC. Favorite episode so far this season, super happy it's still getting good nubmers.

  2. Was NBCs friday line up last year better or worse ? I can't really put a finger on it but my gut tells me that Dracula won't go beyond one season

  3. Sucks that Bones didn't adjust up.

  4. WOW @ Grimm. What a powerhouse. It's really interesting how it actually did worse on a non-Friday slot... I guess it's all about the competition.

  6. When did it ever air on a non-Friday? I don't watch it, but it always aired on Friday as far as I know.

  7. I believe it was on Tuesday at some point, but I didn't follow closely.

  8. In the first season the schedule was very erratic. Not only did the show keep interrupted by short breaks, they also tested it out on different days. The audience stayed more or less the same, no matter when they showed it, but what are great numbers for Friday are not so great numbers on other days of the week.

  9. And Carrie Diaries adjusted down like a deflated balloon.

  10. Dracula is a 10-episode series, I believe.

  11. So many adjustments, I don't ever recall so many changes for Friday ratings. ABC had a bad night, everything was down. Weird. I think maybe Bones has the most crossover audience with those comedies. Undercover Boss tying Shark Tank. Elsewhere, Grimm and H50 did very very well. Grimm is a Friday powerhouse and H50 is turning into one. I really don't think it will be cancelled, at all. Dracula is still very much a low-end bubble show, I am starting to inch towards cancellation, but I am still not sure.

  12. It aired on Tuesdays at 10 at the end of last year because Ready for Love flopped badly and they had nothing else (literally) to air after the voice. I don't think it did worse. Maybe if you consider that it should have done better with the voice lead-in, but established shows like Grimm are rarely able to take advantage of bigger lead-ins like that. It went like this:

    2x12: 1.6
    2x13: 1.5
    2x14: 1.5
    2x15: 1.5
    2x16: 1.4
    2x17: 1.5
    2x18: 1.3
    2x19 (Tuesday): 1.9 = 1.5 with Friday Factor of 25%
    2x20 (Tuesday): 1.8 = 1.4 with Friday Factor of 25%
    2x21 (Tuesday): 1.7 = 1.4 with Friday Factor of 25%
    2x22 (Tuesday): 1.7 = 1.4 with Friday Factor of 25%

If you consider the Friday Factor the ratings were literally unchanged from one day to the other. I can't be bothered to look but I would guess the DVR ratings fell because more people were watching live and less people were DVRing. I think Grimm is a type of show that does better in fall for some reason, that's why the ratings we're seeing now are more impressive. But they aren't that different anyway.

  13. I think last year NBC was airing repeats at 8, Grimm at 9 and Dateline at 10. Grimm is evenish for the most part and I still think Dracula should be improving on the repeats (when was the last NBC Friday repeat that was above a 1?). Unless Dateline is doing significantly worse than it was doing at 10 they should be doing better.

  14. OMG H50 WOWSERS! Amazing numbers we'll just have to wait and find out with 4.09 now don't know if these numbers are due to Nick Jonas guest starring. But big names again this Friday for the Thanksgiving episode Carol Burnett, Larry Manetti & Al Harrington returning

  15. It may have helped a bit but I don't think it made that big of a difference. It's not THAT much off from what it usually does. I think the show is beating all the expectations we had for it for Fridays, which is awesome. I really dispute the notion that it is a bubble show.

  16. I agree. I am expecting some major rally this week though.

  17. First NBC had the last season of Chuck before Grimm and then for a long time nothing stable as a lead in - it was a small miracle that Grimm even survived for that long...So I guess it is an improvement that they have Grimm now on a stable schedule, giving it the prime spot and something fitting after it. Too bad, though that Dracula doesn't really work out. Unless they rewrote the whole premise after the pilot, I doubt that is will last, too.

  22. Great for Grimm! But, I wonder if those are good numbers for Haven? Has Haven been doing well enough this season for renewal?
