Surprising to see this cancelled first, I thought that would be Trophy Wife. Also BITG"s rating were pretty decent so this is even more surprising.
ReplyDeleteI liked the show. Thought it could go either way at the end of the season, but I definitely thought other shows that have been given extra script orders or episode orders or full season pickups would've fallen before this one.

ReplyDeleteI saw this coming even before it started to air. Terrible show that should not have been given the go ahead in the first place. Love Maggie Lawson and this was a complete waste of her talent. Can't wait to see her on Psych season 8 and who knows now this disaster of a show has been canned we may even get a Psych season 9.
ReplyDeleteSo does this mean that Psych will carry on, causes when Maggie was casted for this series it raised suspicion whether Psych will be cancelled. But since Back in the Game is cancelled, Psych will most likely carry on?
ReplyDeleteI don't think this has any impact on if or if not Psych will continue past Season 8.
ReplyDeleteI think you are under the impression that Back in the Game's rating were better than they were in fact. Anyway, as I've said elsewhere, I am also slightly surprised but it's the power of ABC studios again. I won't get fooled by this again.

ReplyDeleteThe show had a good cast. But the overall plot wasn't going to last long. I just never got into it. Though, I was surprised that it wasn't at least given a full season.

ReplyDeleteI was so sad to read this. I knew the show was no 'Modern Family' or 'The Middle' but it was pretty decent and quite funny. I liked it 100 times more than Trophy Wife.
ReplyDeleteMeh, maybe it is because my daddy raised me to be a baseball fan :)
I'll miss this show and I hope the producers will give it some closure, not like they did with Off the Map.
