I see they are connecting to the feature film but I guess you don't need to watch the movie to know what the aftermath is?
ReplyDeleteLove that they're connecting it to the movie and not just pretending that the movie didn't happen. Or that it is in the future or something. Buuut now I really have to watch the movie as soon as it comes out I guess :)
ReplyDeletemaybe they will at least explain what happen because not everyone would have watch it before the episode airs
ReplyDeleteI was already planning to go see it, now I must.
ReplyDeletevery smart way to tie things in with the film franchises.... I can only assume that there will be tie ins with the upcoming CA: the Winter Soldier movie as well..... I guess that I have to make sure that I see the movie before this ep....
ReplyDeleteI was wondering this as well. It's possible for them to not detail the events in the movie, but have something that resulted from the movie events in the show. Like extremis, you didn't have to see Iron Man 3 to understand its function on the show, though you might understand it a little more if you'd seen the movie.
ReplyDeleteI happen to be going to thor 2 tonight. Cannot wait for the episode
ReplyDeleteWas hoping they would do this and it would have been silly for the show not to mention what happens seeing how you know London was under attack (not a spoiler btw as it is all over the Thor 2 trailers). As for whether its too soon or not, well if you are a fan of the MCU then surely you will be watching Thor as soon as you can!
ReplyDeleteI hope not, as I'm one of those weird people who usually doesn't watch films in theaters. However, I do agree with them tying the movies and the show together like this. The shared universe they've managed to achieve is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI guess that's why they changed the episodes order: showing the hub first, gives people one more week to watch the movie before this tie in is shown.
